Hitting things that are slightly above or below your chest height is ridiculously bothersome

Just a small annoyance that's been bothering me for like 4 years. I mean, I get a small flying/rolling target being hard to hit with non-AoE guns, but like, having to get a melee weapon with a specific swing animation & reach just to hit a baddie standing two step down on the stairs or a floatie drone one foot above eye level. It's ridiculous.

Possible solution: Melee vertical aim. Pretty straight forward, give the torso certain vertical movement when it comes to melee strikes to it aligns the swing to mouse vertical position rather than always horizontal to the world. Even a slight up/down would do the trick.

 

While we're at it, giving airborne (as in jumping/jump attack) melee a small lock-on area similar to Archwing melee would be super sweet. Just sayin'.
