I can only decorate the hallways

After the last update adding the new room I have taken my sculptures, totems ,and stalker noggle down from where they were and wanted to move them into the new room. However when I tried to I could not I went through my whole collection and I could place nothing in fact I can not place anything anywhere in the orbiter save for the hallways now. I still have stuff up everywhere but I am not wanting to take it dawn at the moment fearing that I will not be able to put it back up. Even before the up date I had more than enough capacity for everything but I have no clue what is going on so has anyone else had this happen?
