Warframe deleted itself

Hey,

So today i tryed launching warframe, and it magically uninstalled itself. I downloaded warframe thru steam, all the files for the game is there, only steam does not recognizes it, tryed restarting steam and stuff but nothing happens... Adding non-steam game shortcut from warframe location files it just says "Please launch game thru launcher" or something like that. I dont want to reinstall game because it will take kinda alot of time :/

Downloaded twice and the steam client keep hiding/deleting the Warframe from library...

Hello!

I've find a workaround.

Apparently is the appmanifest file is corrupted or missing some information.

To fixed:

1. Locate the folder where your steamApp is installed, usually is C:\Steam\SteamApps

2. Open appmanifest file corresponding with Warframe in a notepad;

* To obtain the appID open the store page from the Warframe and look in  address bar which should contain ‘/app/######/’.);

3. Copy the text information into appmanifest file and insert your Steam Id <YOUR STEAM ID HERE>;

4. Save the file;

5. Open SteamApp.

Hey!

Looks like i cant find that appmanifest file :/ Now im not sure if its missing or its me being stupid. i will include screenshot of files.

Oh never mind. I found where app amnifests located, but cannot find one with exact appID im looking. so guess il just reinstall the game for now.

Same thing happens to me too.I just got one update problem fixed and now this appears.So i always keep fresh backups of warframe and noticed that the launcher app and jira client app are gone after the update so i copy an restore the whole thing from before last nights update and restarted the launcher....it updated fine but deleted both the files again

Yea just noticed this aswell.. started up the game and it said launcher.exe is no longer present.. My game is not installed through steam.

Thankfully theres a .tmp exe still in the folder so a simple renaming fixes it.
Very strange problem though.

Edit: everytime is tartup the game launcher.exe gets deleted lol

even after it deletes it self i am able to login and play the game.

But every time i start launcher it deletes it self during update and if i exit game and want to play again later i need to copy the "jira client.exe" and "launcher.exe" again

what i am worried about is that today's Friday and if a fix doesn't come for this unique bug today we might need to wait till Monday >.>

Can confirm that Launcher.exe is deleting itself from the Public folder.  I just had to copy a new one from the Dev folder to play again.
