Fallen_Echo Posted February 25, 2018 Share Posted February 25, 2018 So my problem is as far as i know the embolist always worked as a "flamethrower" weapon. Creating a cone based aoe to hit multiple targets. Now after some testing i accidentally found out that this is not true at all. Embolist creates a simple infinite enemy punchtrough beam and a starter aoe only. This is how the shots look like, just like a flamethrower covering a fair area. Shooting between this dudes legs doesnt effect him at all, he only got hit by the starter aoe what deals only 10% damage due to ramp up. Same deal here, im literally only a milimeter higher than his backpack. After the initial aoe shot the beam deals no damage to him unless i move the cursor directly at them. Yeah i found that too, made some calculations and apparently to hit the grineer i was targeting the beam cannot be further than him from 40cm in both pics.
