Destrab
It's said that the goal of Sanctuary Onslaught as a gametype was to generate more "arcade-style" gameplay. While I think amidst the remainder of the game it succeeds at this, things can be done to elevate this concept, for huge payoff. It's also said that memes are a core value of the Warframe community, but this is very seldom gratified in an in-diegesis way - as is mostly appropriate of course, memes seldom do have a place in Warframe's diegesis. Nevertheless, a way to viably gratify this community ethos is a golden opportunity for DE. So picture this: Simaris approaches the Tenno, curious to study our capability to adjust to extreme situations on the battlefield. Simaris has the Sanctuary on-hand, so simulating these situations are child's play to procure. Introduce a gamemode where battlefield hazards and conditions are ridiculous, and differ zone from zone: a "meme" gamemode. Here are a few examples, not as "here take this use this", but simply as a demonstration of the ethos. All enemies are under the influence of an infinite-duration Radiation proc, but have a chance to inflict a Radiation proc on inflicting damage. All enemies are Spectres, of completely randomised Warframe loadouts. Efficiency does not drain (if it all would in this gametype), but all enemies are bosses. Respawning bosses. The floor is lava! And damages you. But not your enemies. Reduced enemy difficulty, but the only way to kill them is in your Operator mode. Only 1 enemy spawns, but killing it spawns 4 copies. Killing a copy generates 4 copies of the copies. Killing those copies generates 4 copies of the copies of the cop... I hope this was entertaining to contemplate, as it is very fun to think about a game mode that has a high level of replayability solely for the degree to which it is 'out there'. Have a nice day. You would crash most people's systems after about 6 kills, and you would crash the super Crysis god rigs after about 3 more
