Malconis
I understand there used to be raid missions available for whenever a player reached a certain milestone? Is there any way those might come back? I had heard that they were scrapped because people were abusing mechanics and abilities to cheese the fights, so maybe the warframes just need to be rebalanced? I would love to go through all the warframes and look into how they could be changed for such a purpose, if maybe the problem with doing that is lack of staff/production time? YUNoJump
Raids (officially Trials) used to be in the game, but they were niche content at best. They offered organic challenge based on puzzles more than just surviving the enemy, but still had relatively high-level enemies (70-100ish), as well as having 8 players per squad. However, people quickly learned how to do the puzzles, and then all you needed was the ability to talk to your team and an online guide, and it was a cakewalk. The gameplay became less about surviving difficult enemies while solving puzzles, and more about locking down the map with frames like Nyx and Nova. Even without the CC spam, the puzzles basically became a checklist of miscellaneous tasks like "carry and pick up a battery for the right amount of time" and "stand on a certain pressure plate". By the time of their removal, they weren't so much endgame content as they were just a somewhat fun activity to do with your clan or friends. They were very frequently horrible in public due to lack of communication, and their rewards (a single arcane once per day per raid, 3 arcanes per day total) were nowhere near good enough to justify dealing with public. They were also incredibly buggy. The unique nature of their puzzles always led to countless (and often progression stopping) bugs, that despite DE's efforts to patch, remained in effect. In the end, DE decided to get rid of them because they were too much effort to maintain for the very small player base that actually played them. They've said that some form of Raid content will return, but they want to make it more accessible and less niche when they do. We have no other information on when or how that will happen. When/if they do, they will most likely need to have extensive countermeasures put into place to counteract both CC/power spam, and the ludicrous damage our weapons now do. Nullifying (non-bullet-blocking) fields were used in the hardmode Raid to relatively good effect in this regard, but with endgame weapons currently able to melt enemies way over level 100, it would be very tough to find the damage sweet spot between "doesn't get melted by endgame weapons" and "anything below endgame weapons have any chance of killing something"
Gandergear
As @YUNoJump put it theyre gone and likely are never coming back. In the mean time you can amuse yourself with eidolon hunts, which have all the problems he just listed and more.
