Loaded into Onslaught wave 1 as it auto failed/won, which broke keyboard

I selected to do the Onslaught mission, which loaded into the wave 1 C- onslaught mission over/won menu.

After loading back onto my ship, my keyboard stopped working, except T, which opens chat, which I could still chat in,
but closing chat didn't allow me to move, jump, crouch, or even open the Esc menu.

I had to exit with game with Alt+F4

Side note,
I've played this game every day since March 2014,
and for the past 2 years I've only played till I encountered a bug.

The most missions I've played in one day in the past three months is 3 missions.
This isn't the first time the first mission I attempted was bugged, but it was by-far the most annoying.
