The Dash Mod

A mod that replaces rolling with a high speed Megaman X style dash that depending on the direction your moving in will allow you to dash in that direction. The mod can be upgraded to extend th distance you dash. Great for evading devastating attacks, and getting further away from the danger. Does consume Stamina on use though. Also since rolling behind cover is helpful because your low, the dash movement will make you a bigger target if you just so happen to dash into a stream of bullets aimed for upper body blows.

 

So its more suggest to dash backwards, or side, to side rather then foward. If you want to dash foward get Excalibur, and Rhino at least things will die as you dash through them.

 

Also you can still shoot while dashing. It will basiclly seem like a swift movement that looks like your standing still the entire time as a lingering series of afterimages of yourself are left behind as you move into position in your new spot.

Except for the after images you leave as you dash in different directions, but pretty much. I can see this being a huge benefit when you need to switch off from rolling, to dashing.

Not a bad idea, at least dashes aren't limited to Excalibur anymore if this happens.
