Multishot On Burst Weapons?

Question

Would "multishot" work on burstfire weapons? The description on the wiki says that it gives a chance to fire an additional shot per bullet fired, so would this mean that the Hind would fire 10 shots per burst? Or does it actually mean that "multishot" would only increase the burst by one additional bullet fired during the burst so it would only fire 6 bullets?

I had the same issue when i was a newbie. 100% multishot on a lex for example would increase the clip size to 12 but rather do "doble" damage by firing two bullets at once. So a hind would technically fire 10 bullets effectively doing double damage rather than waiting for ever waiting for it to finish.

Hope it helps :)

suggest that don't bring in the clipsize or damage for whatever. just complicates things. Multishot just "adds" shots to an existing one (always an existing one).

Multishot percentage if over 100%, for every 100% means a confirmed additional projectile to an existing one. Any percentage less than 100% (or remainder after deducting the whole 100%)  means chance of an additional projectile.

But the additional shots will be the same as the primary shot, with all damage mods applying.

Thanks for answering my questions but this one in particular really cleared things up for me.

In this example, we'll use Hind. Each bullet fired by the Hind has a 90% chance of shooting a second bullet. So you may get 9 bullets, or 10 bullets if you're lucky, or only 7, etc.

I thought It would be something like "You either get 5 bullets or 10".
