Can't skip mission intro with spacebar after latest patch

Normally I can press spacebar to skip the intro but most of the time that doesn't work anymore. Even tried to click the confirmation to skip with my mouse but it just closes the confirmation tab while keep playing the intro. Other team members usually don't seem have this problem as they are typically far ahead when I can move.

The same problem is on PS4

Same problem to me on PC.

I noticed 2 things

1.- it occurs  while I'm client. It works perfectly fine if I'm host

2.- I can skip it if the host doesn't skip it first.

I've encountered this bug many times. A few of which I ended up dying due to enemies being in the same starting area and having the other people that were able to skip the scene draw aggro so the enemies fill the air with toxin gas that kills me as soon as I could move 😞
