wizard_6 Posted July 10, 2018 Share Posted July 10, 2018 (edited) Hello, After latest hotfix 23.0.8 I am crashing when hitting the log in button, as soon as the game loads and the warframe is about to get up my game crashes. In I am running DX10/11 and 64 bit ticked on the launcher settings. However as soon as I untick DX11 mode and force DX10 game is able to load onto the ship but I crash few seconds after that. Unticking DX10 and forcing DX11 with 64 bit results in the same initial crash - on warframe getting up. Unticking 64 bit mode with forced DX11 allows the ship to load in a simmilar manner to DX10 but crashes few seconds after as well. Veryfing game cache did not help, everything seems to be downloaded correctly. I have not had any simmilar issues before the hotfix, nor have I changed the settings until after the issue started appearing for testing purpouses. EDIT: Did a full re-download - had no effect, still crashing. Wiped all my setting data - no effect, crash still occuring. I just built a new PC about a day and a half ago, so this machine hasn't ran the game on any version but this one. I just put in a ticket, but I haven't played a lot of games yet, but Warframe has been crashing for me too, and it has been a general protection fault like that, for me on all but one of them too (other one being assertion failure.) I've also installed some of my other MMOs and played a bit but not a lot of too many things just yet, so far I don't think I've had any issues with those though. Mine haven't entirely kept me from the game, but sometimes the patcher throws it, sometimes the game throws it, most of the time it does it during a mass data load, like an area change (causing progression loss in many cases,) or the initial load of the game. I also verified and had no errors, but it took me like 3 or 4 tries to get it done because it kept GPF crashing trying to verify too. What are you using for a video card and your drivers? I've got a GTX 1060 6 gig running 391.35 because I've heard that's the most solid driver (and one avoiding the ongoing installation issues many are having with more current updates) If any devs see this though, my last GPF was submitted as WAR-1818783, and assertion as WAR-1824097.
