EDeN153
The Grineer settled a desolate planet to accommodate their growing population. Within weeks they had atmospheric generators in place, preparing for the arriving colonists. Marines were protecting the overseeing officials and construction workers, only there to protect them from any possible undetected Corpus and hostile wildlife. A few days before the settlers were to arrive, something happened. Something unexpected. The planet was not as desolate as it seemed, the Grineer woke up to the sound of tearing metal and a loud crash. The entire work-force headed to the sound, in hopes of eradicating whatever had made the noise. As it turned out, something had cleanly cut one of the many atmosphere generator's supports, crippling and killing the machine. The Grineer were scratching their heads as to what made it fall. They let their guard down. They were very wrong to. As soon as the first marine lowered his Hind rifle, the first attacker showed himself in a flurry of metal. The trooper went down screaming, having his upper and lower body severed. The rest soon followed and the entire workforce suffered the same fate the trooper did. The Azhokull had been disturbed. ------------------------------------------------- Alright, fanfic/lore aside, these are the Azhokull. The only true aliens to reside in the Origin System. They are characterized by their large lack of protection/armor, with only a central carapace and helmet to shield them. But without any extra weight, their naturally amazing speed and mobility is un-hindered. The relatively supernatural mobility balances out the lack of protection, making landing a hit very difficult. Presenting a challenge for even the most lethal of players. The Azhokull, having been untouched and unknown for generations, are relatively technologically advanced. The first weapon, the Ka-Din rifle is a sniper-class rifle that utilizes a traditional hammer method. In addition, it has four high-tension strips of extremely durable material on rails attached to the firing mechanism. A click-shot sends out a bullet with the regular hammer, a charged shot brings the firing mechanism back, charging the 'bows' (for future reference.) Once the charged shot is actually shot, the bow springs forward with additional help from the hammer, sending the projectile forward with amplified speed and damage. The second, the Foranta, is a melee weapon. A longsword that excels in puncture and slash damage, stylized as a lance with a 'pulsed' blade edge. The third, an Azhokullan pistol, is a smaller version of the Ka-Din, utilizing only the 'bow method' has no charge time, to balance it with other sidearms. This pistol uses razor-like projectiles that resemble small, metallic rectangles. So, let me hear some feedback on this. Edit: Here's the base concept sketch. arch111
Nice start. Whats the relation to Lotus and Orokin?
EDeN153
No relation, these guys are like ants. Once you tick them off (i.e. the Grineer trying to settle their homeland) they retaliate. Only retaliation means going to the Grineer worlds and attacking them there, the Tenno then intervene.
