[Orokin Weapon Concept] Gladycus & Stanam, Sword And Board (With Art). Finished Concept.

The Gladycus and Stanam, a sword and shield used by the Orokin Grand Guards, to defend the Highest Powers of the Orokin Empire.

Pre Orokin Historic Facts:

Gladius (Latin: glădĭus) was one Latin word for sword and is used to represent the primary sword of Ancient Roman foot soldiers. Early ancient Roman swords were similar to those used by the Greeks.

 

Scutum (/ˈskuːtəm/; plural scuta) is the Latin word for shield, although it has in modern times come to be specifically associated with the rectangular, semi-cylindrical body shield carried by Roman legionaries.

Any idea on how a Warframe should wear it? I mean, the stance relies on a small(er) shield that is worn on the arm, while this sort of Roman shield was massive and was carried vertically, so I just wonder if there is any way to make this "feel" like a Roman shield more than for the visual.

 Thank you :) For now the idea is to have it collapse like the Agis & Silva and be used like it, I dont have any plans yet of adding a unique stance/idle.
