Though I imagine it has a lot to do with Oberon's shape and how everything about him is primed except is warframe. So much bling it hides all the none bling. I sold my standard Excal a looong time ago and didn't want to build another one just to test it. well your talking about the standard excal and they don't have the extra shield recharge. it is noticeable, you will find that you need cover less often in high mission types.
