Guide To Modding Your Ips Weapons Damage In Conclave.

As you know in Conclave you can't directly increase the weapon damage. Instead there is mods to convert a part of two damages in to third one.


There are three conversion mods for each weapon type. (in parenthesis max rank value)


Rifles:
Serrated Rounds: +5% (+20%) Slash
Ripper Rounds: +5% (+20%) Puncture
Comet Rounds: +5% (+20%) Impact


Shotguns:
Flak Shot:+5% (+20%) Slash
Shred Shot: +5% (+20%) Puncture
Crash Shot:+5% (+20%) Impact


Pistol:
Razor Munitions:+5% (+20%) Slash
Impaler Munitions:+5% (+20%) Puncture
Meteor Munitions:+5% (+20%) Impact


However, it is really difficult to calculate which mod is best for which weapon so I wrote a program that can help you chose the right mod.

There might be some bugs right now.

Here is example of running it.





"Frost Prime -1" means you need one less shot compared to not modded weapon. Less shots = better. More shots = worse.

Here are results after I ran through it all secondary and primary weapons available. Note that if "Prime" not mentioned in name of warframe that mean it is regular warframe.

No clear advantage means that you modding your weapon will only make it worse.



Primaries.

Attica: Any rank Impact against Frost Prime. Max rank Puncture mod against Valkyr

Boar Prime: Max rank Puncture is best.

Boltor: Rank 1, 2, 3 Impact against Frost Prime and Volt.

Boltor Prime: Max rank Impact against Ember Prime, Mag, Rhino. Any Puncture against Valkyr.

Braton: Max rank Puncture is best.

Braton Prime: Max rank Puncture is best. Rank 1 or 2 Impact against Volt.

Burston: Max rank Puncture is best except Volt.

Burston Prime: Max rank Puncture is best.

Buzlock: Max rank Puncture is best.

Cernos: No clear advantage.

Daiky: Any rank Impact against Ember Prime. Any rank Puncture against Valkyr.

Dera: No clear advantage.

Grakata: Max rank Puncture is best.

Gorgon: Max rank Puncture is best.

Gorgon Wraith: Max rank Puncture is best. (the only weapon that has an advantage with Slash mod)

Grinlok: No clear advantage.

Harpak: Max Impact against Frost, Mag Prime, Volt Prime, Zephyr. Rank 2 or 3 against Valkyr.

Hek: No clear advantage.

Hind: Max Puncture is best.

Karak: Max Puncture is best.

Karak Wraith: Max Puncture is best.

Latron: No clear advantage. (expect any impact against regular Rhino)

Latron Prime: No clear advantage.

Miter: Max rank Puncture is best.

MK-1 Braton:  Max Puncture is best.

MK-1 Paris: No clear advantage.

MK-1 Strun: No clear advantage.

Opticor: Max Impact is best. (it will one shot Frost Prime with that mod)

Paris: Max Puncture against Valkyr.

Paris Prime: Max Impact against Volt.

Prisma Gorgon: Max Puncture is best.

Prisma Grakata: Max Puncture is best.

Prisma Tetra: Rank 1, 2, 3 Impact against Volt Prime.

Soma: Max Puncture against Chroma, Ember Prime, Excalibur Prime, Saryn, Frost Prime, Valkyr. Impact 2 against Ember Prime, Mag, Nyx, Nyx Prime, Volt, Volt Prime.

Soma Prime: Max Puncture against Chroma, Valkyr, Excalibur Prime.

Strun: No clear advantage.

Strun Wraith: Max Puncture against Chroma and Rhino.

Supra: Max Impact is better against Rhino, Nyx Prime and Volt but worse against Valkyr.

Sybaris: Max Puncture is best.

Telos Boltor: Max Impact is best.

Tetra: No clear advantage.

Tiberon: Rank 1,2,3 Puncture against Chroma.

Tigris: No clear advantage.

Vectis: Max Puncture against Excalibur Prime and Frost Prime.



Vectis Prime: Max rank Puncture against Rhino Prime.

Secondaries:

Afuris: Max rank Impact is better against Ember Prime and Mag Prime but worse against Valkyr. Max rank Puncture is better against Saryn but worse against Volt and Mag.

Aklato: Max Puncture is best.

Aklex: Any Impact against Volt Prime. Rank 2, 3 Puncture against Saryn.

Akmagnus: Max Puncture is best.

Aksomati: Max Puncture is best.

Akvasto: Max Puncture is best.

Cestra: Impact rank 0 or 1 is better against Frost Prime.

Dex Furis: Max impact better against Mag Prime and Ember Prime but worse against Valkyr. Max Puncture is better against Saryn but worse against Volt and Mag.

Dual Cestra: No clear advantage.

Furis: Max Impact is better against Mag Prime.

Kraken: Max Puncture is best.

Kohmak: (can't really test without knowing multishot but Puncture should be best looking at from damage distribution)

Kunai: Rank 1 or 2 Impact is better against Volt.

Lato: Max Puncture is best.

Lex. No clear advantage.

Lex Prime: No clear advantage.

Magnus: Max Puncture is best.

Marelok: Max Puncture against Ember Prime.

Mk-1 Furis: Max Impact is better against Volt and Mag but worse against Valkyr. Max Puncture is better against Saryn and Excalibur Prime.

Mk-1 Kunai: Max Impact against Frost and Zephyr. Max Puncture against Valkyr.

Sechura Dual Cestra: Rank 2 Impact is better against Ember Prime, Mag, Volt Prime and Zephyr.

Seer: Any Impact against Mag. Any Puncture against Nyx Prime.

Sicarus: Max Puncture is best.

Sicarus Prime: Max Puncture is best.

Twin Grakatas: Max Puncture is best.
