Figured I May As Well Ask About This Bug- Weapons Will Stop Working Periodically

It happens rarely, and I've only ever seen it happen with my melee weapons and the stug, but out of no where I stop being able to attack with them. I can't reload them, and I can't shoot or attack with them. They appear to be resting in my hand, like its not actually detecting me hitting the attack button. The only thing that helps appears to be switching to another weapon and then back. It isn't much more then an annoyance at the moment, but it seems people are okay with any questions being asked here so I figured I would.

 

Is this a known bug, something I'm doing wrong, or something else? Is there a way to fix it?

EDIT: Oh and I should mention I also can't aim with them, which means it might have to do with the weapon rather then detecting the attack key itself.

I've gotten this as well, other people report it seems to happen if you catch onto a ledge but then jump off immediately or something.

Happens to me too, sometimes just out of nowhere, no need to jump somewhere or grab some ledge.

I get this a lot too. It seems to happen after landing awkwardly, because it most often happens after a bullet jump

 

Thankfully it happens a lot less as of U18.2

Happens, I switch to Codex Scanner and back to weapon, it works again after that.
