  1. I have been wondering as well (since it is very similar to a concept I made) Can we get any updates on this shotgun? It looks to be very powerful.

Do you guys have any plans for sniper rifles to become more powerful? Sniper rifles cant keep up with the other weapons, unless it has high amounts of crit chance and damage.

  2. I never did hate these abilities, I just don't like how they are usually the main thing that people mod towards.

I would like Iron Skin much more if it was more of a "durability" type of ability, to where the more it was damaged, the less amount of reduction of damage you receive, and you remove the complete damage immunity in the process. Because most of these augments for Rhino seem to be more around getting more armor and replenishing the Iron Skin, but why is it just about Iron Skin?

I would like Hysteria much more if it wasn't pure invincibility, where the only way to keep up your damage resistance was if you were continuously killing, like a true "Rage" mode;the more she kills, the harder it is for her to die. Its very simple.

  3. In a more simple way, I'm starting to not like how these abilities remove the challenge of enemies. Not that enemies aren't difficult enough, but there is a good amount of fun when you have to worry about not being killed so easily from a single rocket or bullet.

Iron Skin is pretty self explanatory. You cast it and become completely immune to everything except energy drain, and the only thing you need to worry about is your health. For an ability, it doesn't really make sense for a "Skin" to have health, but it would make more sense if it had "Durability", so as the more it gets hit, the lesser the ability becomes useful.

Hysteria is not really a "true rage" ability. Its basically Iron Skin but is only active if you have the energy to spend, and it drains even more if you let the range of it extend to 100%. It would make sense if it wasn't pure invincibility, but if you kill more enemies, you would receive less and less damage.

Basically, I just want these abilities to have more use than just "cast and forget". It removes the whole challenge of enemy scaling and having to worry about taking damage.

  4. So, for those of you who have watched the latest devstream, there was a moment when they showed the new tenno-themed shotgun we are getting, which I'm putting in a spoiler tab:

    Spoiler

After putting two and two together, I realized that this is strangely similar to a concept I made a long time ago for a tenno-themed shotgun, which is similar to what was shown on the image. A Classic look with different shells, more than likely meaning it will have multiple damage types.

If this is out of pure coincidence, then I say Thank you to DE for improving what little inventory the Tenno have for their own shotguns. If it is part of my concept, I extremely thank DE for even considering it to be put in the game. They do a good job of doing that for other peoples concepts.

And just because, I'll put the link up to the concept I made a while back, so that people could compare the similarities.

  5. 1.I remember a long time ago that there was a brief mention of the supra AND the gorgon being buffed, what happened to the gorgon part of it?

2.I really do love the new mode. Its fun solo, and adds much more of a challenge than normal play. However, I wonder if you are going to expand on it, such as more modifications and using certain weapons.

3.So, Stalker has a voice. Chroma "had" a voice. We can assume that Mirage and Limbo had a voice. Is there a reason as to why they lost them, and is there going to be a chance for them to get it back?

4.Would it be wrong to assume that when you make a Deluxe skin for a Warframe, that they need a rework or tlc of abilities?

5.Wow, this year was Jam-packed full of amazing things. I can't wait for next year and to open that damm door.

    6. No Kuva on Kuva Fortress? DE pls.

  6. I've always liked Ash due to his literal "ninja" kit, however due to the negativity of his Bladestorm before the rework, I didn't use him that much. Now with the rework, he is much more fun to use, but I do see that there are some tweaks and polishes that he still needs.

First off, It would be nice that if you cast smoke screen before executing bladestorm, you stay invisible during the animations, and whenever your done the invisibility shuts off. So that would be nice to keep the whole "killing a whole group without being seen" thing going.

Second, it would be difficult to make it higher, but the duration of smoke screen is kinda low, and it would be nice if it was around loki's duration, but maybe add a unique mechanic, like because its a literal smoke screen, he slowly fades into being visible, so something like 12 seconds of smoke screen, 6 seconds of fading into visibility. And also, if you cast smoke screen, the initial cost of your other abilities should be reduced as well.

Third, just a simple fix for shuriken, to where the more you press 1, it adds bonus damage and shurikens, along with reduced energy cost.

Finally, the only issue I kinda have with bladestorm is the power range and slash procs done to enemies. Allies and your clones will refund your energy cost if they kill them, however if they die from the slash proc, you get no refunded energy. It would be nice that if you kill an enemy from the slash procs done by bladestorm, you get a certain amount of energy back to you, or a fixed amount. The other thing is that power range on him is weird for bladestorm, because I can't seem to figure out where it begins and ends, and if it wasn't limited by that small amount, it would make it easier to destroy large groups of enemies.

...As you can see, the running issue in my feedback is energy cost and efficiency. If you want his abilities to be more interactive, he needs more energy to cast it, almost being in the same boat as the Saryn rework.

  7. So if I'm looking at this list correctly, the only thing that was changed about Ash was his bladestorm, which is freaking fantastic due to how brainless it is to use it.(Although in my opinion, only changing one ability on a warframe is not considered a rework.)

And, for the new sortie list, it seems that we are always gonna have a higher chance to acquire a riven mod, because its at the top, right? Because it would make sense for a legendary core to be at the very bottom, due to its extreme value.

Honestly, please remove sentinel weapons from the riven mod category. I just don't like how nobody wants them and after finally getting a veiled mod its for the Stinger.

  8. I have a really interesting question, but I'm sure that there may not be an answer, or even no one knowing anything.

In some of our recent quests to acquire Warframes, some may have noticed that these frames once had a voice. Chroma was recognized by the Lotus when Ordis replayed the "All is silent and calm" speech. Mirage in her quest tells the Lotus to stop lying and everything will be okay, after she is killed. Atlas, assuming he died from the Golem, was told to us by Jordas that we are like that Other Warframe, and will quiet us as well.

So, assuming that nearly every frame had a voice, would there be a possibility for a quest to give our Warframes their voices back?

(I would immediate say that everyone would use Chroma's voice, due to his being heard in a quest.)

  9. 2 minutes ago, Omega-Shadowblade said:

What do you mean by related to his quest line?

Meh, might as well spoil it. In the quest Ordis finds out Limbo killed himself by attempting to Rift Walk too far. Some have suggested for a skin that would show what he looked like either after he died or before.

  10. Another attempt at a rework idea for another frame. This time its Ash, considering the fact that he will receive a deluxe skin, he will most likely get a rework. Please give your opinions/ideas on this.

    Thanks.

(I also got this on reddit as well.)

    Ash rework Idea
Passive Change: "Master Assassin" : It takes enemies 10%  5 seconds longer to detect you, and increase the critical damage of Finishers and Stealth attacks by 200%. Daggers, Dual swords, and Throwing weapons by 200%.
    Additional change to Shruiken:
Has a much faster projectile speed. With 100% accuracy.

No change to Smoke Bomb.  Smoke bomb will leave a cloud of smoke after casting that will blind enemies and obstruct vision.

    No change to Teleport.

    Bladestorm Rework:
-No longer invincible, but is now a drain/second ability, can run around with the blades revealed.
-Pressing E will teleport you and one Clone to deal half the damage to 2 enemies, but with a faster animation. Can NOT spam ability.
-Shruiken in Bladestorm mode will throw double the blades in quick succesion, not at the same time.
-Smoke bomb will have a larger stun radius and duration
    -Teleport will function the same.
-All abilities used in Bladestorm mode will have a reduced energy cost by 25%.

  11. A copy paste of a copy paste I made late at night to just randomly create a rework idea for Limbo. It didn't get much traction at the reddit area. So ill just post it here and you can give your opinions on things you like/don't like.

    Thanks.

PASSIVE CHANGE: "There but not always" - While in and out of the Rift, Limbo gains a flat 15% chance for enemy fire to fly through him and deal no damage.

    (40% is too much :l )

    Additional change to Banish:
Charge to Banish up to 5 enemies at once, possibly can be modified by power strength. Enemies will look "Phased out", and cannot target you or alert other enemies while banished, because they are in another plane. Even if they are alerted and you banish them, they cannot activate alarms.

    Rebuilt Rift Walk:
Now an instantaneous ability, enemies can not target you if your in the Rift and they are not. You still gain the energy per second,  and you are still being timed. You cannot activate panels, however you can pick up items and take them with you into the Rift.
(NO, this does not mean you can be a troll, pick up a datamass, and drop it off in the Rift and Leave that plane. Any item you bring with you into the Rift will leave with you as well.)

    Rebuilt Rift Surge:
Still gives the damage bonus. However you can "Jump" through the Rift and land near enemies to unleash a shockwave. If you are in the Rift and attempt to Jump, it will function the same but you will exit the Rift when finishing the Jump. Better explanation on how Jump could work:
"Hold Circle to send out a circle of energy that bounces off obstacles, release button to teleport to the circle's location instantly. Damages opponent and knocks them upwards if Exdeath teleports to their position."- Dissidia Final Fantasy/012

    Reworked Cataclysm:
No longer a "shrinking snowglobe". Pulls the Rift and concentrates it into a vortex that destabilizes over time and does not shrink. Can pull enemies into the Vortex, however they will have lower accuracy from being pulled in. Your energy will still regenerate. When Cataclysm destabilizes, it unleashes a massive shockwave, similar to Jump, but at a much higher range.

    Reworked function of the Rift:
The Rift is defined as "Weird". When enemies are inside it, they have a difficult time differentiating between you and their allies. When your Warframes are in the Rift, they are able to switch between weapons and reload at a much faster rate. They also gain a higher horizontal velocity when bullet jumping and running.

  12. 1. You know, I really don't understand the huge energy drain while picking up volt's shield. Can you at least remove one and reduce the other? I can't even use Speed and pick up the shield, because it can drain a full energy bar in less than a minute while running around.

    2. Are you considering giving Ash a weapon ability like excalibur and Valkyr? It seems unless you make it not kill everything in an aoe, it always looks like a World on fire copy.(1000 blades from Castlevania)

    3. Will Nekros prime have no shields and become like Inaros, with somewhat high armor and high health? With his augments, Despoil will take health to desecrate, and Shield of shadows will prevent him from dying so much, it makes sense to use your health as a weapon.

    Odd logic in play here...

Tigris is a burst weapon and the Sancti is probably already scratching the dps ceiling.  Lowering the raw damage (has to happen when you add crit) on a burst weapon in favor of crit sounds like too nifty of an idea for a few and a bad idea for everyone else. If it works, it'll get nerfed in 3 months. If it doesn't, it will get derided as the "bad" Tigris.

Boar Prime and Dakra Prime are great weapons now and definitely in the upper tiers in their own right. Why do they need buffs?

There are tons of weapons that need that iteration more.

So the logic appears to be that if the weapons doesn't compete with the #1 ranked item, it is automatically bad and not worth having.

So, why take 10 bullets to kill a enemy when you only need 2? And why take only 20 swings to kill a enemy when you only need 10? I am not stating that those weapons need super buffs so that they are the best because they are primes, I am saying that people are only going to use "these" selection of weapons because they are the most efficient, and sometimes because they are fun to use. If they are buffed, more people would use them. You can't say the Boar prime is used more than the Sancti Tigris, and the Dakra prime was used the most, until about 5 other weapons came along and were more powerful.

I mean, the polls speak for themselves. People kinda want a crit Tigris Prime, and they REALLY want the unvaulted weapons to be buffed.

  14. 9 minutes ago, Fle292 said:

Well we could talk about Sicarus prime, fang prime, bronco prime, akbronco prime, vasto prime and a few others which would need a buff too.

Well, yeah. My only counter-argument would be that these are weapons that have been removed from the game, and are being released as a unvault for a limited time, where as the only prime thats going to be vaulted next is the scindo.

  15. Basically the title. I decided to create some polls and see what people's opinions were, due to the Tigris prime being released soon, some have been suggesting that the shotgun become crit-based, due to the lacking of shotguns that can reliably crit. And with the recent unvaulting of the Dakra and Boar prime, I've always thought that prime weapons were supposed to be "so superior" in a way that very few weapons can be better than them, and that the Boar prime is one of the lowest damage shotguns, and the Dakra prime losing its top place, is kinda underwhelming. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

    Thanks.

  16. So, if you haven't watched the teaser for it, go watch it before reading further. And if you don't know what Umbra is, go research it before reading further.

So, at the end of the trailer, the queens are not truly feared by us coming after them, but at the same time wanting us to come to them. Maybe its because they need our help, or maybe its a trap, but nobody really knows the true answer.

What if the Umbras are with/attacking the Grineer?

On one side, Umbras are described as the "shadow" of a certain object. They could easily hate the Tenno as much as the Stalker, but do not wish to follow his ways. They could also hate the Tenno as much as the Grineer, but do not want to side with the Tenno due to an unknown reason. At the same time, they could be much more worse at attacking the Grineer, due to them being in the "shadows" all the time.

    So, here's my first theory:

    1. Umbra's are a prime prototype. Yes the regular frames could be described as that, but its more better to say that those are "defects" and the "prime" is the true frame. Obviously, it wouldn't make sense for the Grineer to keep a frame and use it against us, but since they can't acquire the prime frames, and the "defects" are usually executed, why not? They could easily find out a way to activate the Frame, and keep it controlled so that they can use it against us.

What do you think? I'm pretty sure its obvious that they are going to be involved in U19 some way, and I really can't think of any other way they could be released (other than killing the queens). I can't think of another theory to put here.

Your conclusion is wrong, as Limbo can dispose of any of the star chart's bosses easily.

Of course, if you allowed your weapons to do most of the work, then yeah. Thats why I tried not to find a low damage weapon, but also a weapon where its not point and click and the enemy is dead before you even start.
