  1. Warframe has been steadily evolving and implementing new ideas... And ontop of that. A CRAP TON of mods.. Soo many infact that at this point there is so many mods that go unused as they are deemed pointless or dont offer enough incentive to be used compared to a vast majority of other mods. 

    And with the announcement of enemy radar becoming universal. i think its time that weapon mods get a honest hard look at themselves for being reworked into a new system so that.

    1. These mods no longer pollute the mod menu when modding a weapon
    2. Can actually have a usage without having the negative "Mod cost value" & "Mod Slot" associated with it

    The suggestion is simple. With the rise of incarnon weapons and genesis weapon. I purpose that a simple sort of approach is taken in order to better utilize said extremely niche mods. BUT Rather than going to any sort of NPC, or acquiring an adapter or any of that sort of stuff.. Right from your arsenal you can pick and swap whatever you like having active. But in order to somewhat balance said feature. Make it for example only 1 option can be active.

    So think of this type of menu. ONLY 1 GROUP OF OPTIONS IS AVAILABLE (For the time being) every circle icon will represent a currently available QOL mod such as hush, recoil reduction mods, zoom level mods, negative zoom mods, Glide duration mods etc etc. But 1 options is only available to be picked. This provides USAGE for current in game mods if the user deems them worth using while at the same time getting rid of the mods in the modding menu. essentially decluttering it!

    Whether this means enemy radar mods are going to be kapoot. or if enemy radar will add ontop of this. either way this is probably the best change IMHO, the enemy radar mods are such an incredibly niche mod that most dont see the point in adding it to WF and most make do with just companions having radar. More of this type of stuff needs to happen whether its in regards to hush mod or other useless mods never or barely used outside of a very specific niche use case. adding that QOL would better the game IMHO

    inb4 adding incarnon styled menu but for QOL mods like suppressed weapon noise or zoom level etc but only 1 option can be active at a time!

    i mean i dunno how. everyone complained about stuttering issues when duviri launched. it still happens for new players jumping into it for the first time. Dx12 enhanced engine for whatever reason just causes issues in duviri. outside of that is okey for the time being. but something about frame timings just causes the GPU activity to plummet every handful of seconds causing stutters.

    some get away with it by disabling dynamic lighting and volumetric lighting. while others have to switch from enhanced to classic. still looks exactly the same but for some reason waayyy more stable and consistent performance while playing in duviri. every new open world area has always came with performance issues. happened with POE came out. happened when orb valis came out. and cambion drift etc etc. just those issues got ironed out relatively quick meanwhile duviri has been out for a good while now and still issues

  4. enhanced runs like absolute crap for duviri. even tho classic is still present in game and in the launcher. its no longer the old classic that we remember. instead classic was just replaced by the previous stable graphics engine and enhanced got updated and was made to be default. 

    if you have crap performance in duviri switch to classic.

    the thing people seem to be forgetting here is that warframe is notorious with stuttering issues with every new open world that comes out. duviri i would have a major stutter and micro stutters every couple of seconds. thats how bad it was even tho i manage 144 FPS by default as i have fast vsync on.

    thing is i played about 2 weeks back and had no issue but ever since i updated graphics driver my CPU is always 100% MAX no matter if its the orbiter or orb vallis etc happens everywhere in game

    Trial and error mostly.

    EDIT: I had the stream on the same tab for a solid 3 hours. It's only when I had all of the above conditions (unmuted, primary tab) that I got the drop.

    i watched the entire art stream and audio stream with no muting. was on the tab watching. got nothing.

    i had to unlink my account after having a twitch account breach. it was locked so had to change details and as i said had a sync issue when i checked account management for warframe. so needed to unlink and relink

  8. im just wondering if anyone has gotten theirs. i started watching at 6PM as per the schedule. but after 30 minutes i never got mines. seen that my account had a sync issue so unlinked my twitch and relinked again. and been watching the warframe stream for 3 hours now and still nothing ???

     

    anyone else having issues getting their twitch drop ???

    Looks like I am not alone.

    after the game went OBT i decided to reset my account for the final time. at which point about 3 weeks in i was finally doing ember grind. this was pre ruk update and what not. so youd just get in and blap dead and run to extract. it took me 436 runs over a period of a month and 1 week to get all her parts. im very old fashioned half the time when it comes to this game. but the fact of the matter is that i could keep doing that for however many times as i wanted with no restrictions to income or time. which is EXACTLY what standing is doing. it hampers your ability to progress via time and effort. "oh you only have a daily standing cap of 18k well that sux im afraid, guess you gotta spend an extra day to get the next level and then 3 more days after than and then 9 more days after that to just get to the rank you want to be at". sure it encourages people to finally level mastery rank. but ALOT of issues also tie into this soon to be flaw with the game.

  10. ive been playing the game for a long time at this point, seen its ups and downs, i enjoyed certain aspects of POE however i knew by time fortuna with the orb vallis. i knew the grind was going to be horrific. and sure enough vent kids, and bounties felt like a pain to do. vent kids even more so. not even max rank with solaris atm cause i played the first week but got sick of the bugs that kept hampering progress.

    i would enjoy these features more often is it wasnt so god dam awfully grindy. takes freaking 30 mins or more of constantly doing tricks just to get the base k drive up to 30 while also having enough standing to progress to the next board. and rinse and repeat.

     

    i think the only enjoyable features ive noticed in the past years are ESO, Eidolon into Tridolons etc and rework to bounty rewards.

    that being said the new warframes such as khora which was super painful to grind, as well as gara, garuda, baruuk which i still haven't got to yet cause standing. was the worst new additions to the warframe lineup ive seen since ivara and her stupid cache only drop chance. which after 100's of runs and not even 1 drop of her components i had to end up buying her. but no more. warframe imho is going down this path of super hard grind when if people wanted to they could just mid max plat income and gain the stuff easier. this new type of backwards investment is off putting and no pleasant to a certain part of the population within the game and now hildryn is in the mix which yes she has been dropped from max standing level to 2 but still. id say a good portion of players have barely touched fortuna considering there is barely as much instances going compared to POE at certain times as well as peak times sometimes.

  11. decided to do couple of bounties literately not even 10 mins in. second stage all ready bugged. got 1k credits within the 4 min period for bonus but then nothing happened after that. no icon for target o indicate spawning. went around everywhere in archwing and even operator with and slightly out of the zone in hopes of the target spawning. NOTHING!

    can this get fixed plz. how is this still happening 4 months after fortuna launched

    I love the UI because it is a lot cleaner and the sound design is wonderful, however:

    • There are some dead space that kills my OCD.
    • I kind of miss being able to press "esc" and seeing all my group's weapons and equipment with out hovering on each at a time. Also as -TSA-BierWurstGER said, it tends to glitch behind icons time to time.
    • Also the removal of alot of names/titles make it difficult to know the difference of a lot of muted item icons.
    • The muted color of icons bugs me a lot as it start to burl with the rest of the background. You have a bunch of wonderful and colorful item icons, I feel like there is no need to mute the color for a hover effect.

    Edit: I another problem is the mouse tends to jerk when clicking on search bar sometimes.

    im on the same boat about this issue. my only gripe with the new UI changes is that the squad UI is a step backwards.

     

    the whole point of pressing esc was to check squad compositions for the upcoming mission or assuring if people are using the correct relic and if its radiant or not etc. you have now made it 3x as harder to check core information about the squad and what they currently have equipped. please either expand the squad menu or have an option for them to always be expanded.

    im sorry but with operator focused stuff. as well as eidelon hunting. PoE and future open world maps will become part of core progression.

    there is no way in hell that runs PoE open world even on the lowest of low settings. the requirements need to be bumped up to be represent hardware that can run PoE. otherwise endgame stuff like eidelon hunting etc or even MR farming becomes obsolete. as someone that did have a potato but never experience that bad of performance issues with PoE that others did. i sympathise in realising the issues these false hardware requirements provide
