Spores:
"infinite scaling and damage" - nope.
I can't maintain my spore counter for two reasons.
1. Enemies die too fast especially since I shoot them to spread the spores.
2. I accidentally press 1 and detonate the spores. <- highly annoying.
Please fix this so we can manually spread spores around for longer than currently possible. At some point there the spores will hit a wall and reset because they kill too fast.
Suggestion: tapping 1 allows you to keep spreading spores, holding it detonates them, esc or some other key can cancel the held detonation. Increase the base propagation range might also help.
It's also counter intuitive that I actually have to SLOW DOWN killing to spread my spores more. Please allow the recast to manually spread spores more.
Molt: Cool, it just got better. I have no issues with not being able to cast spores on it. Question though - how does molt's damage work now?
Toxic Lash - doesn't seem to be spreading the spores? Also if spore becomes recastable again, bring back the 2 energy restore for every one
Miasma - it me or did the cast/stun get slower? This was an fast stun ability before.

I don't know if the defense objective blocks the zenistar, but if it does, place the disc just above the defense capsule or a nearby choke point.. For standing capsules like in void, lua, or ODD, choose a side that will cover the most approaches.
if you place it badly, then retrieve the disc and throw again.

how do you know efficiency changes? is it when you cast quake?
Also: wrong forum? This is missions bug reports.

Opening the prison automatically frees the VIP, you don't really need to go through the hassle of hacking.
At the moment the usual sequence is like this:
1. hack door to open prison.
2. walk inside
3. hear the VIP say one of his rescue lines.
4. VIP teleports to you.
5. Mission updates to extract.
No need to hack the doors or go through the bypass, no need to hack the portal to find the VIP and pull him out.
This makes the mission a no brainer to complete.

"perplexing synergies" - this is a UI/information dissemination issue. Your synergies are clear, you just don't tell people well enough in-game. Fix the abilities menu and that should help a LOT. Heck a few simple lines in each power that reads "molt detonates for toxin damage and automatically procs toxin." and "Toxic Lash adds viral/toxin/whatever damage to your melee strikes and adds x% status chance" sends a clear message to anyone reading Miasma that you're supposed to use the other three powers BEFORE detonating miasma.
This applies not just to Saryn, this goes double for Limbo since he tends to drive people who don't know how to handle him crazy.
Spore detonation by activating power... can we have this as a charge ability? I do want to retain the ability to manually spread spores.
Will Molt's detonation damage also scale with its max hp? Should make things interesting.
Energy regen via toxic lash - restrict it to popping with melee, but don't take it out completely, should make for interesting gameplay choices.
Miasma - I rather liked the increased damage from when a target is affected by the two other powers (toxin/viral currently) please consider retaining status procs rather than having spores on for damage increase. It eliminates the old synergy where you're best having all the other three powers active before casting miasma, which I rather liked.

That said, the highest available is 75% off. You should wait for that one to show up.

AH is convenient, yes, but I rather like the idea of having an extremely limited set of people and goods available for trade at any given time.
The message is pretty clear on this: gathering vast sums of Platinum ISN'T all that necessary that they'd need to develop an automated system to manage it. While there are people who want to gather a lot of plat through trades, how often have you felt it necessary to get some plat that you'd need to go to trade chat? The only things you really need in this game are slots and those aren't very expensive at all. The rest of the stuff - even the vaulted items - come back at some point.
Also, It's not like it's particularly hard to buy or sell anything on trade chat. Judicious use of the filter feature helps greatly.
And all tradable plat was real money. Plat prizes are not tradable.
Think of the current system as similar to how a central bank raises interest rates. It locks up excessive liquidity and supply.
Edit: on the other hand, I have no idea if the player numbers in PS4 or XB is bad for the system overall, meaning that there isn't enough plat or supply floating around in trade chat for things to be healthy.

Maroo daily should become a thing. DE ought to look into that...
Doing syndicate missions and looking for medallions is also a good chance to find ayatans.
Overall the endo rate is ok, cash in all those blue stars if you're really hard up on endo.

I don't buy the whole "Grineer chose them for us" argument. The basic idea of the new map is we're conducting sabotage (similar to earth sabotage). We're somewhere in a grineer base, and Lotus couldn't find another more defensible access point?
At the very least they could make it less like shooting fish in a barrel for the grineer.

I'd rather have cataclysmic continuum change its behavior from a point cast to caster centered and it moves with you. Radius reduced by half or something.
As for the damage buff augments I'm fine with them, as @BiancaRoughfin mentioned in the right situations you can stack so much damage on one person that it's not even funny. Just remember that those augments are Elemental so they are highly situational.
I kind of like the idea for the pull augment but rather than just produce shards it will pull shrapnel which deals additional damage to enemies (mostly puncture/slash) within 2-5m but won't leave shards like polarize does. I wouldn't like an augment that duplicates a power the frame already has. If anything pulling shards out of the environment should be part of a polarize augment.

1. Yey I don't have to run around to one of 4 spots on the map... which was annoying but not overly so.
2. We don't have the high ground almost 100% of the time. Seriously, why do the the tenno choose some of the worst positions? We're also surrounded by cover that can be used by the grineer. We can't funnel, the only real option is to bring defensive frames like frost, volt, or zephyr to block incoming fire.
To players who kept complaining about this map:
They FIXED syndicate missions on this map. The old one spawned 8 medallions/seeds/datum/etc, which is among the EASIEST to find. Congratulations on making your farming harder. I was ok with this tradeoff, annoying mechanics for guaranteed complete medallions.

stop worrying about how others play and concentrate on your own, plains is open world , you have option to leave, people can and will do what they want to there
Not when you entered matchmaking for the bounty. This is a legitimate concern for a while now and is ok to be brought up on the forums again.

Took me about a week to farm it, but the RNG is like 1 in 12 rolls(8%) or 1 in 20 at worst (5%) so it's just your luck? for me it was the BP that dropped last, got 4 systems before that happened.

I would've said that zephyr benefits from aviator while airborne, then I remember that her 3 basically makes her invincible midair.
maybe they should allow triple jump glide? Give her innate flight speed and bullet jump improvements? Never have a hard landing?

There are several ways to screw with a limbo...
1. bring a weapon with a large magazine and high ROF, like soma or supra. Timestop has a limit to the amount of things it can keep frozen.
2. bring caster frames/damage frames like mesa or excalibur.
3. prior to the fix, bring a zaw with exodia contagion.
or you could, you know. Ask nicely that he stop spamming cataclysm or change his build to a low range one.
But yeah he needs tweaks to make him a better team player.
Hopefully before his prime drops sometime this year.

They're not going to tell you how they detect improper accounts but if you get banned you can appeal to support since you are two different people. The problem might be that there were people who boost and then sell the accounts themselves.

You want "fun" bragging rights stuff in elite onslaught? Bring these back.
-
Since Cetus Wisps are now from the Quills, could we possibly have Breath of the Eidolon from Konzu or someone else there?
That or allow it to benefit from resource boosters.
-
Since you're not the first person to say this, I'll bet they're already looking at how to do it. probably a range nerf somewhere.
-
Well, you can't really "die" as an operator. it just gives the warframe a debuff for less than a minute, unlike the warframe that has a max of 4 self revives. It kinda balances out until you manage to get the grindy focus passives and arcanes then your survivability gets much better.
Personally I don't use the arcanes and rely on the passive for operator health regen. I prefer to use the warframe health regen arcane on my operator.

Also helps newbies when someone just pubs vaulted relics like I do. Some don't realize that the common item that I rolled is actually vaulted.

I find the exodia to be fairly inconsistent, or that the effect of the exodia and the slam cancel each other out...
I was hoping that I'd be able to have some more fun with the hammer zaw, sadly the combos lend themselves to throwing enemies away than sucking them in... :(
At the very least enemies who are knocked down should also be sucked in, not just the standing/falling ones.
-
just nerf whip range/aoe. Guandao is kind of harder to use despite its great range because the aoe is a flat disc. On the other hand, atterax is very forgiving since the aoe is not only wide, but pretty tall/thick. Unless they make it such that the physics of the game will only make the head of the whip deal damage reducing the range is the only means to balance this.
If it's "head only" damage, that means you won't hit people inside a certain distance. You can expect an outcry right there though.

Reviewing the animations on the stances involved, only the newest stance for polearms (the pokey one) wouldn't really fit with sepfahn. However there is an issue where the animations were obviously made for polearms like cassowar and orthos in mind.
That said, I don't mind using flailing branch with sepfahn. It has a slam combo which might work well with exodia hunt.
That said, they should be consistent with the labeling. Hopefully they'll release more stances appropriate to the weapon's form and reclassify these as needed.
Probably during the melee rework?
Kuva catalyst carriers spawning far from the life support capsule?
in Missions & Levels
Posted
I did a quick search on the patch notes and there was nothing metioned specifically that the carriers will now spawn anywhere... sometimes they spawn in the previous life support room far away from the new capsue, where before the patch they would spawn almost on top of the life support. Please revert to the old way of spawning these guys.
