  1. I love the new changes coming into this evolving game. My question relates to the new proposed Frost ice wave:

     

    you had mentioned that the ice wave will shoot out in a conical shape. Will it be more like an ice field in the shape of a cone or will it be a few straight ice waves (like 3) creating a frosted field. Additionally, will the angle of the ice waves be modifiable with range mods so we can change between something like 60 degrees to something like 120 degrees? Thank you for your time.

  2. Im not entirely sure where to put this but with the new Tac Alert, on the ceres level the Bailiff Defector got stuck under the stairs which caused the spawns to not leave their spawning zones until confronted.

     

    However, it is a great idea, just wish there were more than 2 levels.

  3. If you havent heard, there will be a starmap rework to fix the desested nodes problem. It will take longer to reach platforms but expect the star map rework in the next month for PC.

  4. Im always looking forward to the next hot topic because it gives insight into the possiblities of the future of warframe.

    Stamina definitely needs a rework of some kind, warframes in general have far too little stamina or it just goes away after 5 rounds are shot from the enemy.

    The 30+ is interesting. Just cosmetics i feel would give too little incentive but i like where its going.

    The main thing that caught my eye about this hot topic however was the trials instruction. Its perfect as it is, leave it up to the players to figure out, because after the first week, its almost entirely common knowledge. These trials are supposed to be end game and challenging. Do not put more hints or instruction into the trials, many players who play this content want the challenge, and not to be spoon fed to us. If anything, more killing would be nice since at the moment, you can go through a trial without having to really kill anything aside from the 5 bomb guys and Vay hek in the final part.

  5. One of my favorite aspects of the game is the option to choose a stance for your weapon. Some weapons, like the single sword, are severly lacking in stances. I would love to see reverse grip stances added into the game for both single sword and dual swords.

    Ill try to post some examples of fight styles as I do more research.

  6. One of my favorite features in the game is the stance system. On a melee weapon, its like equipping that extra boost. The biggest issue right now I find most of the stances severly underwhelming. It isnt because the moves in the stance arent cool or good or useful, its simply there isnt enough in the stances. The best example I can give is the 2 sword stances, Iron Phoenix and Crimson Dervish. Iron Phoenix has that one decent combo, and thats it. It has 2 combos, and thats it? Same thing with Crimson dervish, it has "3" combos, with a basic combo and 2 combos that only add one additional attack. The stance system needs a rework, or at least the older stances need to be touched up so that there are at least 3 vastly different combos.

    The best stances in the game are the best because they have a great variety of attacks and moves. The glaive, heavy blades (axe), and nikana are my three most used melees because the stances are so fun to use. I rarely use any other melee type because the stances dont have enough variety in their attacks.

    I feel like you already know this but I wanted to bring this to the attention of the community. Thank you for an excellent game.

  7. Ive seen this idea many times on the forums. Personally, I do not like it from a lore stand point. Primed weapons are supposed to be the originals, the prototypes. The normal weapons are the mass produced weapons. You cant evolve or ascend a copy to an original, that wouldnt make sense. Its the original because it hasnt been modified.

  8. I think the tactical alert is to give console players a chance at getting those old wraith weapon. I understand why you are unhappy that this weapon is being rereleased on PC, but it gives players like myself who missed the weapon a chance to get it.

    On a side note, i did find it humorous they found a way to put in the puppy blender and make it a TA.

  9. From what I understand (or at least hope I understand) one of the points of reducing the number of nodes to a few with rolling nodes could be amazing and look awesome if done right is to further help facilitate 4P gameplay.

    I think the issue I might have with this new system would be how long these rolling missions will be available. I believe I would be totally against it if its roll over is the daily reset. A much shorter time span (like 2-3 hours) for each mission window would be amazing. If its presented as this mission dossier and additional archwing integration, it could evolve the game.

    I am very interested in the direction this is going since it is trying to further facilitate 4P gameplay, and I can't wait for the Lotus' next orders.
