Just to let you know, even the alerts aren't gold and flowers.

Imagine an alert that has an orokin catalyst (and not as a gift of lotus, but as an actual alert), only that the new player can't get it, due to the alert being on a planet not unlocked yet.

It wasn't perfect but honestly feel that it was way better than what NW is.

There's never been a good video game movie before. It's just a bad idea.

Well there's Detective Pikachu which I hear is really good and Pokemon happens to have started out as videogame series.

But yeah in general CGI movies tend to be more accurate to source material than live action movies tend to. As long as they make a movie like this CGI they should be good.

I see this said in quite a few threads and I honestly cannot understand where the "chore" and "stress" things are coming from.

Is it a "chore" to play the game?  Because honestly that is what the majority of nightwave is: playing the game.
But you might say "It forces me to play specific nodes!" and I'll turn around and point to how that happened with the old alert system...just that you won't be missing nightwave challenges like you did alerts.

And how is it "stress inducing"?  It asks for fairly simple tasks that don't take much time and effort to complete, and can be done at basically your own pace.
All that it asks of you is to sign in once every 3 days or so at a minimum and complete some basic tasks like killing a few hundred enemies, doing a specific mission type, using a specific elemental weapon.
What part of that causes stress?
Especially with the catch up system where if you complete all of one weeks weekly challenges you can do the last weeks as well so you aren't missing out.

It is. While some tasks you can do as you play on, others you have to go out of your way to complete and waste a lot of time in most cases which I'd rather spend doing something that benefits me more than some BS that is in my way.

Stress inducing as in order to get everything you need to spend 10+ weeks doing these, so having to think and worry about completing something that is time limited puts the pressure on.

Intermission was a step in the right direction then they took 3 steps back with season 2 by making it the same as the first one.

Nightwave is simply and awful game design that is hurting the game as a lot of people including myself are playing the game less and less because of it.

Yeah nightwave is a nightmare  having to put in a few weeks works. The old alert system is so much better of playing a 1+ years to be lucky enough to be online right at the 40min the item you wanted was on. It so much faster and easier to do the alert when you dead asleep then playing when you awake.

    More like 10+ weeks.

  5. Love everything that was shown for it, the core stuff(combat, exploration,...), customization, NPCs(hope we can place them inside the dojo in other room, not only the drydock), Kingpin system(really glad that this isn't dead) and the fact that other player teams can affect your mission which is an cool new addition.

According to their post the decks won't be available online. But let's wait until the Tennocon ends, maybe if they won't sell all of them, the leftover stock will be sold online too.

This is a shame really, the merch store is a joke. DE could make a LOT of money selling floofs and stuff like that, I have absolutely no idea why they don't try to.

Doubt it, the void key pendant was an item from previous Tennocon's and we still didn't get it to appear online. Leftover stock will be probably saved for next year.

I hope the preview elaborates more... because I can imagine someone who has never seen Warframe thinking to themselves, "Hmm, men with rhino horns? Wait, what is Warframe? A movie... Oh... PS4 at the end... a game. OK..."

    True.

Well PS4 at the end could be because of Sony, Spider-Man is Sony's property when it comes to movies(Marvel and Sony made an agreement for him to appear in the MCU movies) so it would make sense for them to advertise their own platform since this teaser is specific to the Spider-Man screening. If anything it's treated as a teaser for Tennocon but according to Mogamu this was an short cut edited version of what he saw when DE invited him, so we'll see more from it.

probably, a lot of people do that on the side, knew a guy at the local hospital who charged a quid (£1) per copy, though sometimes the quality was very hit and miss: sometimes the picture wasn't great or the sound cut out etc. better to just bite the bullet and wait for DVD.

Possible but may have been someone who just wanted to capture the WF part since it was teased to be shown. Also the position doesn't look good for it to be for a bootleg recording, I'd expect it to be positioned in the middle to try and capture the screen perfectly.

Well it isn't the first time a video game got a cgi trailer with better graphics then the game, it is just strange to us cuz trailers for warframe up until now were all filmed with in-game engine. I think you people are looking too far into it, it is simply a new cinematic for the start of the game.

I know, especially with companies like Ubisoft, but for DE this is a rather big leap.

I wonder how the worker units would look like for the Tenno faction?

Cephalons? Helminth? Ostrons? (if so, what about before the Ostrons?)Corpus hired workers? (wouldn't make sense, they would give away any Tenno's locations for money since they are greedy milk), maybe Syndicate workers?

You never see when you're building your Dojo, it just builds itself, so it must be a mistery unless we have giant spaceship sized foundries that can just print those rooms.

Probably something like the Tenno rescue targets. Would be nice to finally get NPCs to place in dojo, waiting for this to get added.

  11. Release Excalibur Prime to everyone and watch the chaos.

    I'm joking. lol

Honestly I that's a hard one, like so far DE has been doing an amazing job with the game that I find it hard to think of something.

Wait a sec...I know... Nightwave... I would permanently remove that, the only element that's killing the game.

Your Warframe account is tied to your console account, so if someone manages to gain access to your console account, they could access your Warframe account.

You should enable Sony's 2FA for your PSN account if you haven't already, to add an extra layer of protection to your account.

Will do, better safe than sorry.

  13. Don't see it happening from a lore point. The foundry is special Orokin tech that is sought after by the other factions due it's ability to construct just about anything. So seeing it appear in either of those locations wouldn't make sense.

  14. Honestly with all due respect but Nightwave has to go, it's killing the game.

However that doesn't mean that Nora and the story around Nightwave itself has to go with it, I'd rather see it implemented like events/operation or even quests.
