Both, right now they are easy to kill because they are susceptible to all manner of stuns and powers, and dont have a massive amount of health/protection.
However from what I'v been hearing, if they do manage to get you, they will jack their war up your frame.
-
oh by the way, dont use tornado, it tosses the ever valuable loot drops around and you risk losing one.
Including a certain pink orb of importance we may remember.
-
interestingly they were susceptible to everything, so they were very easy to kill.
from what I'v heard though if they do actually hit you they are quite a threat, but for me, castanas stunned them, vauban Bastille'd them, castanas finished them.
castanas are quite deadly and usefull if you use them appropriately.

That would not be ripping off MGS:R, the gun sheath idea has been around for a while and used in multiple things.
If it was, then it would be MGS:R that did the ripping.
off of the top of my head, that design was also in Gai Rei Zero.

I like touches like this too, however this one is actually horrible.
Its a death sentence, you'll more often then not be put into the middle of a group of enemys then unable to move while they beat you to death because you'v lost control of your tenno during the animation.
-
I'm pretty sure Oberon is the theme related warframe, he was even released during the earth tileset premiere event; so you would need a different excuse to have a ground themed one. like caves. or, just because it'd be cool.

Emergency Induction Port.

why the heck would you want to waypoint multiple enemys when soloing?
...Oh, I get it,
No.
this isnt some par the course modern fps, you shouldnt be able to magically see enemys through walls just by glancing at them like in battlefield or fc3
if you want to know where enemys are without actually paying attention to them, then use one of the 4 ingame methods to do that, they are there to be used.
And besides, thats also a horrible idea because in multiplayer you'd get trolls (or noobs) spamming as many waypoints as possible to clutter your screen.

Over great periods of time with their superior minds, is it not possible that they have re-established their numbers even if only a few of them survived? The lore calls Tenno the betrayers, perhaps the AIs controlling them began to view the Orokin as the aggressors to be terminated, and once the Orokin realised this they fled, activating a kill switch on tenno and the controlling AI alike, forcing them into a dormant state.
you've got some srs headcanon going on there dude, and it doesn't really make sense.
-
Orokin are dead for the most part, all we have now is their leftovers, which, includes us, and most things in this game.
The sentients however....

uh, it has unlimited uses, it scales depending on how far/fast you hit the ground at, and has a minimum amount to activate.
I use heavy impact a lot btw, Loki isnt the worst frame to put it on but a frame that can easily acquire air would be better, like excal. or the new wind frame for example.

The problem is that they get bleed procs even though their attack only took off 10% of your shields.
That's it. Nothing else needs changing. Don't need to muck around with their health, or give them a windup, or change their rate of fire. All that needs to be done is to fix bleed procs. No health damage = no bleeding. Simple as that.
If thats the case then we shouldnt be able to make enemys bleed through their shields ether, and if that happend everyone would cry about slash damage being nerfed.
-
oh please those things are just as easy to deal with as any special unit.
The problem here isnt that they do too much damage, its that you guys aren't countering them properly.
You have an enemy that shoots slow moving disks that do very high amounts of damage.
they are basically an anit-tank unit
You do not counter anit tank units by making yourself more tank
You avoid getting hit in the first place.
those disks are easy to dodge with a little bit of effort, and any frame that has decent agility should be able to avoid them without even thinking about it.
This being a Team based game, and a game with multiple ways to play, I find them perfectly suited the way they are.
gives something for more agile frames to counter and makes tank type frames less invincible if their not carefull.
I'm really surprised that this many people are having issues against such a basic enemy type, and aren't seeing the obvious logic here.

Your being utterly destructive and boring, I mean, literally, you keep making threads about how what you want in this game is to be "able to spam catastrophe" when anyone who has played with a nova knows how that goes.
Warframe is about more then being overpowered, we're hitting the stages where things are actually starting to get semi balanced, if all you want to do is press the same key over and over with no threat;
Then I have a better game for you
-
the first time I fought them I wasn't expecting that, my build uses quick thinking energy for its primary source of life.
as you may expect I got shredded faster then string cheese with confidential information on it.
The second time I fought them however I defeated this problem by simply avoiding the attacks...which..is probably what you should be doing anyway.

Nanomachines, son.
Actually this is one of the uncommen times that nanomachines dont give an explanation to whats going on.
-
It's much harder to tell what weapon you have out now as well, since there's no picture.
Wait dude a little off topic here but if you cant tell what weapon you have out, then you have some other problems.
-
That wouldn't work well, because you see, the emblems each need to be checked to be ok by a real person, thats why they limited it to clans and put in a paywall to upload in the first place.
Everyone being able to get a custom emblem would overload the system to no end, they would have to hire hundreds of people just to sort through them, and even then it would take players longer to get their emblem cleared for use ingame.
Having more emblems/badges/arm accessories would be nice though, especially if you can customize them in any way, like the colours

In this situation the value of the slash dashes are basically null, meaning the amount of them you would have to give would degrade their own value to the point where it would never be enough, because for every one of those slash dashes, you have less use for one, and need to do something with it for a profit, whether thats selling/trading it to players, transmutation or selling it outright for credits, would take more effort because there is so many of them, then the amount slashdash is worth.
Put simply
Its over the event horizon of diminishing returns. unlimited. ∞

Equipment costs dollahs. Advice is free.
Thanks for your advice, though. I'm not 100% sure how elements behave in damage 2.0. I was under the impression that having more than one kind changed the elemental effect into something else?
indeed, and these elements add up by different amounts, do different amounts of damage to different things, and resently the resistance catagorys have been changing with almost every patch. its all really quite confusing.
That said, personally I'v found that blast damage, which is heat+cold, is pretty good against everything for the most part, a community favorite seems to be corrosive, which is electric+toxin
out of the 4 basic elements I'd go with heat or cold, which typically havent often been specifically weak to anything. fire usually looks especially cool, but given your phased skin it might make it harder to see the shiny waves.
-
I dont mean to be really rather rude, but I find it ironic that you can spend that much money on a game but have to ask the community for a deeper understanding on how to play it.
Now as for your literally shiny equipment,
Referring to the Ankyros:
You might want to think about replacing Reach with something else, you have to be so close to enemys ether way it doesnt make a huge difference.
They also have a reasonably high crit chance paired with pretty fast attacks, so putting on mods for crit chance could mark a large improvement.
elemental mods can help balance them out for use against all factions aswell.
it depends on your playstyle, but charge damage mods are usually good to have too.
-
dude wat?

I like the karak sounds too, but I feel it could use just a little more "Pop" when it fires, specifically the first part of the gunshot sound, right now it sounds a little muffled.
Also I'm a sucker for that little piece of cloth, makes me think of sacred ninja wards or charms, which would be wicked to have on certain weapons.
