  1. Let me tell you two pieces of useful information:

    1. I will not be outshined in comedy.

    2. I will not be reconigzied as dumb!

Then you probably should have written your post better.

I'm fine with fun and games but this is the bug report forum, not a comedy club; reporting the bug comes first.

  2. Allow me to translate the OP's horrible post.

"There is a glitch upon loading the solar map that strikes at random when returning from a mission.

It clouds the whole screen in smoke and tanks your fps, along with being rather annoying.

    Derp,"

this happens to me sometimes too

  3. it would be too much, we already have too many op things and the last thing we need is mag, who has already been major buffed, to be even more op.

What we need is more balance between everything in the game, warframes, weapons, enemies, mods, everything.

In this case, balance between powers, even compared to a single warframe's other powers.

  4. Its a common misconception due to the resent event that wraiths and vandals are faction specific, usually to Grineer and Corpus respectively.

This is actually not the case, I go give a ton of points asto why but the most obvious example that most people know about are the Braton vandal and Stun wraith

Vandal weapons are normal weapons pimped out by Tenno, The Braton for example shows this as it is a Corpus gun, but decaled with multiple Tenno stylings in the vandal version, along with flat out stating that its Tenno modified in the description.

The Strun Wraith, being the first wraith weapon, is not even of Grineer design, which you can tell most simply by comparing it to other grineer weapons. What makes a weapon a "wraith" is not currently known, other then that they have, in some unknown way, been designed in an alternate fashion and acquired fancy red stylings.

we know this because in their descriptions all wraith weapons say is literally that and nothing else.

"A different take on a familiar shotgun, the STRUN WRAITH features unique styling"

"A different take on a familiar combat knife, the Machete Wraith features a unique styling"

  5. But increasing their resistance also means an inherent weakness to the opposite element? I mean, if his shield drain on ice was lower, should he suffer more on fire missions?

thats not how resistances, nor armor works, if you take something thats fire resistant/proof, and throw it in snow, chances are its not going to be fundamentally weaker for no apparent reason.

This logic works in many other games, like fantasy games, because the ice armor or what have you is magic or similar, its literally ice acting as armor, so heat would be more effective on it. that is not the case here.

in an interesting contrast if frost is inherently cold, he should have a HIGHER resistance to fire, since the cold will cancel out / absorb heat before it can reach the point where it damages him.

    funny how that works.

  6. this has been discussed on here hundreds of times before, same with ember and fire resistance, the general conclusion is that just because they manipulate an element doesn't mean they are immune to it, if anything they should have SLIGHT innately higher elemental resistances towards their element.

  7. Ok, how many of you have actually used it more then at least once?

the Embolist is a great weapon with a very unique playstyle, and it doesnt need to reduce armor because it's target will be dead in less then a moment.

yea, maybe it could use a bit of a buff just to match its cost and requirements, like they said they plan on doing, but it certainly does not need any mechanic reworks.

plus the idea of a continuous type weapon reducing armor is bad for gameplay, and would work better with a high power slower shooting weapon, like some sort of shotgun or sniper rifle, so that you can use it in tandem with your primary weapon by quickly switching between the two, having to keep it aimed on the target as you would here, you might as well just shoot and kill your enemy with a normal gun.

  8. this thread made me remember that not everyone has a sniperton vandal, lolz.

    Vipers/AFuris,

Bronco and Emboilst (personally very much like the Emboilst) are almost too close range for balanced use with snipers (lack of mid range options)

Gremlins are good all around guns with a strong close and mid range.

Havent heard great things about it but I suppose the Spectra is a fitting option too, though I personally have not tried that combo.

This is assuming that you plan on using your sniper only/mostly for long range, Personally, I have used my snipertron vandal with my Lex in a fastpaced Run'n'Gun playstyle ie at all ranges. Worked for me.

  9. actually I dont think this will be lore breaking at all, the Tenno can be on different sides without infighting, because its not like the Tenno care if both corpus and grinner die.

if your fighting on the corpus side, and a different Tenno fighting for the grinner side kills all the corpus, while you killed all the grinner, then gg all the hostiles are wiped out anyway. have you really lost anything?

the Tenno are the real winners here no matter what.
