I think I get it. physical procs tied to colors? I don't see it happening, physical damage are already overkill, that was the point of damage 2.5, which was received with frowns. Besides everybody would just switch to the slash dmg and screw the other colors. It's also the reason why Khora's original sketch was discarded, she was supposed to have all types of switchable physical damage tied to all her abilities. That idea is just reiterating a concept that has been droped over and over on other areas. Physical procs are OP and shouldn't be given to players that easily.

I'm there. My reasons for not stopping to come back are different tho.
There was a time when cheesing wasn't a thing, people would go to Void towers with their best equip and just tried to go as far as they could. I keep coming back because I hope some day DE will balance S#&$ out and it'll be similar to that again.
There is the Sanctuary Onslaught coming, which could be interesting. But as long as there is this massive relying on meta for guns, frames, spin to win and overkilling mobs while you may die to one hit... nothing will ever be like back when the Void Towers were THE chalenge. This may as well never happen. Meanwhile... I try to enjoy decorating...

My imediate reaction is to discard OP's conclusion. But he did raise an interesting point... Rivens as I recall are pieces of a Cephalon that no longer exists. And yet, Kuva can be used to reroll Rivens... How can a Cephalon and Kuva be related?
Maybe Kuva is not a living creature, but a form of living data, the kind of data Simaris uses in his Sanctuary, and yet somehow it can exist outside of it, in this physic form.
Making a very long stretch out of this: Grineers are affected by this condition in which further cloning makes a form of genetic decay. It could be why the Grineer queens need it, it's how they keep on living, by literaly replenishing their decaying genetic code with Kuva... I think the young one even claims Kuva is used on creation of some of the soldiers, so this doesn't extend to the Queens alone.

Conclave already has a bunch of exclusive weapon skins, Sigils and some other things. You just trade conclave standing for the item of your desire.
They would be less likely to play it if they had to bear with RNG on top of it. People ALREADY pass on conclave even tho the rewards are guaranteed once you meet the standing requirements.

Personaly I think it's an strategy to keep player count high and lasting through the announcement of the update. Whether or not it drops depending whether or not the announce itself fails to boost the player count or succeeds.

Agree with pretty much everything OP said. Except... the part about it being saved to Sacrifice. Warframe's thing is that, we get several of this tidbits of lore that expand into something exciting... that never connects up ahead....

It wasn't last minute. It NEVER got implemented. I didn't follow every devstream but I believe it never got out of a single promotional image. Months ago.
If fact the real mistake here is: At some point the devs suggested the idea of an Exalted Whip.

People are going to Abuse Strangle Dome .. People would abuse Exalted Whip .. it's unstoppable... so I don't give a thought to What is Meta
Now ...No. It's not. In fact, we have seen a lot of abusive gimmicks being addressed this year. I wouldn't be surprised if Spinning for whips got a exclusive fix just to kill the room clearing. It doesn't make the slightiest bit of sense that a whip should strike multiple mobs with massive damage to begin with.

I do believe that falloff is the way to go, I just don't think it's enough, The current system doesn't simply lets us kill mobs, it lets us overkill mobs.
Altho, I believe bows, particulary the Dread, have this gimmick where damage isn't the only thing affected by the charge animation, it you fire a half powered shot the critical chance it has also drops, THe spinning animation could perhappes get a falloff to its damage and criticals.

I have a proposal:
Give Whora Exalted whip.
Change the animation of spin attack on whips for all whips so it doesn't hit more than a single mob.
It actually doesn't make sense to begin with that a whip weapon should keep its kinetic strength after hitting ONE target, even worse that a roundhouse animation should even harm anything, even less, to actually deal more damage than the default S wave movement. Out of all weapon types, a dagger has more clearing potential than a whip, simply because despite of the range potential, after hitting anything, you can keep on pushing it. But a whip? You can transfer a massive kinetic energy into the whip, but as soon as it hits anything, that movement dies out.

Back in my time that used to stand for skills on the battlefield.
Nowadays it seens to stand for builds people copy one another, facetanking, press 4towin, spintowin... cheesing on exploits, etc. Make yourself a favor, never use that therm, ever again.

Earlier this week I learned that 'milf' gets you stealth kicked off Region. I can get along with that, altho I think this censoring is starting to cross a line.
Today I learned that "hentai" can also get you stealth kicked...
So... what's going on? Warframe gonna start pandering to social justice now? The fact that I can put my money and get a sexy skin out of Tennogen is one of the reasons I simply stand up for this game blindly, I have the freedom to do that, may the SJW talk stay out of it. The fact that things can looking good and appealing should never be an issue of concern. But I gotta say, censoring the word hentai really did tickle a nerv.

The problem with Exalted whip: it was at some point suggested. Another lesson for the Devs to take to future streams.
Everybody, NO #*!%ING EXCEPTIONS, who wants Exalted whip, wants it exclusively for RANGE + SPIN Attack.

This is a comment that leaves me a bit on the fence... Volt has good skins, it's one of the best looking frames imo. (but that comes down the immortal skin and Rekkou's Tennogen skin and the Arrester Helmet). The thing is, Volt also as the bigger batch of most pointless skins in the game...
Default Volt and Prime are just outdated, It just doesn't flow with the game anymore, Prime doesn't really give us room to create patterns because the whole thing is basically the main color, everything else is tid bits. 2 of the Tennogen skins are designed by Faven, he may produce nice looking skins today, but his first skins should have never got in, early Graxx skins look like the same basic design applied to every frame. They come down to plastic plates and a cluster of black leather/rubberbands. Notice that the workshop has a few rules like no eyes, no themes, and avoid geometric shapes, and his work still got in. And then there is that other Tennogen skin that has a Loki-look-alike head...
Volt is one of the few frames who for whatever reason never got cloth physics... And let's not talk about Deluxe Volt, because last time I got a verbal warning for it...
I am however looking forward to that Fulgursor skin, (altho I'm certain it's not gonna look as great ingame as it does on the workshop)

Yes. I'm greatly bothered by the design of one handed Swords...
However, there's a deluxe bundle for Frost that comes with this beautiful straight blade sword tho. Frysta Long Sword (despite of the name it's for Swords, not heavy blades). I use it on Broken War. It's what you're looking for. It can be used on any of the one hand Swords

Lanka is so awesome that if a Vandal Lanka came out there would probably still be som 'inbetween the lines' mechanic that would make Lanka still better than a Vandal variant of itself.
