    Spoiler

okay so, this is a silly coder pun [NOT FEEDBACK] from back when the coder actually needed to care about how much memory a given data type reserved:

A "bit" is a single binary digit.    0 or 1
    A "byte" is 8 bits side by side.    0 to 255 ←←←←
A "word" is 2 bytes side by side.    0 to 65,535
A "dword" (double word)  is 2 words side by side.    0 to 4,294,967,295
A "qword" (quad word) is 2 double words side by side.    0 to "Incarnen Strun Prime DPS"

These days, most coders just opt to use a 64-bit data type for everything that isn't a string. lol

Indeed, we are ALL victims of the Orokin.
We are victims of their wars and even their very way of existing.

The Sentients have made their choice and committed to a path of actions that will exterminate all life in the Origin System that is, not only Orokin, but that which was designed by Orokin hand, as well as that which is Orokin by ancestry.

This includes not just the Chidren of the Zariman Ten-Zero.
It includes The Entrati, The Myconans, The Solarans, The Ostron, and many others.

You speak of an "overly militaristic policy", and that the Sentients "are potenial[sic] allies"...

We have chosen the mantle of protectors.

  3. Let's face it. Trinity is a God Tier warframe and really does not need a buff.
(She is, and has always been my favorite.)

That said, "Well of Life" (and passive) still seems to be a point of contention and debate amongst the community as to how to "fix" it.

I actually don't mind WoL's current use-case as a semi-reliable, single-target CC that teammates may or may not notice they can get health from.

But if it ever comes that change is needed, here's my offering...

    [Trinity Passive] "Well of Life"
Whenever an ally is healed by one of the Trinity's abilities, she gains a stacking buff up to 5 charges:
Each charge reduces her revival time of allies by 20% and increases her revival range by 100%.
All current charges are lost upon reviving an ally.

    [1] "Benison"
Energy: 20, Target: Ally or Enemy. One-Handed, Air Castable. Instant Cast. Range: 8 meters. Recast: 0.5 seconds.
Affected by Ability Range, Efficiency and Strength.
The number of imparted and maximum "Sure Footed" charges are not affected by ability mods.

    Trinity imparts 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 or refreshes up to a maximum of 2 / 2 / 4 / 4 "Sure Footed" charges to target ally.

If targeting an enemy, marks them and suspends them in place for 4 / 8 / 12 / 16 seconds.
Any ally that damages the marked enemy, refreshes up to a maximum of 2 / 2 / 4 / 4 "Sure Footed" charges for each 25% damage of their maximum health done to them.
Trinity may move this mark to a new enemy by recasting this ability.

If an ally with any "Sure Footed" charges would be knocked down:
A charge is removed instead of being knocked down, and that ally is healed by 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 health.
Health that would be healed beyond that ally's maximum health is added to energy instead at 25% efficiency.

    [1-Augment] "Benediction"
Whenever a "Sure Footed" charge is removed, that ally also gains a stacking armour buff of 25 for 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 seconds.
    On Death, marked enemies will refill up to 1 / 2 / 3 / 4  "Sure Footed" charges to allies within 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 meters.

    I see, does 200 200 200 sound like a good value?

As an overall element of the Emblem, I would not advise it. But certain elements can be, as long as they're used with cautious moderation.
Such as a thin outline/stroke or dots.

Argonak Prime, Heavy machine gun, sniper rifle all in one.

... a little about the lore of Warframe.

A "Prime" is not an improved version of an existing technology.
But rather it represents the Originating Orokin Version of that Tech from which the current mass-production version is derived.

    From the Wiki:
The Argonak is a Grineer assault rifle

So, the issue here is if DE is going to either append this rather deeply ingrained lore rule for the sake of a few choice weapons,
OR substitute an Orokin Analog of the desired weapon that once possessed those properties.
In the second (and more likely case) the weapon would have an original name and have only inspired its usages.
Instead of being a direct ancestor of the current NON Orokin derived weapon.

Alternately, they could simply add an Argonak Wraith or Kuva Argonak (or both).

    Just sayin'

  6. ATT: NATAH of the SENTIENTS

    I am a TENNO.
I do not speak for all of us, but this is what I believe.

    The Lotus is alive.
She lives in us now: in our hearts and in our will.
The essence of what she was: what she was supposed to be, will guide me regardless of if she herself was real or not.

I recognize that you are a victim of the OROKIN the same as I, and for that I offer you this one opportunity to make a choice.

Leave the ORIGIN SYSTEM and never return.
I will not track you. I will not hunt you. You are free to take as many of your kin with you as you wish.
Build a new empire in another galaxy if you wish.

However if you stay, and you choose to aid in this NEW WAR, you will be shown no quarter.
    You will not be forgiven.
And you will bring ruin to your family.

    Behold! This is "Matricide".
    unknown.png?width=971&height=455
    You do recognize her shape.
Know well both the meaning of her name and the conviction it brings.
And be warned, while I only speak for myself, She is not alone.

I have no desire to shackle you once again as an unwilling surrogate.
You have suffered enough, and for that you have my pity.
Do not throw away your life in a misguided attempt at revenge.

Perhaps one day our children can find The Undiscovered Country where our peoples may live in peace.
But today, these will have been the last kind words I can offer you.
If next we meet in battle, it will be your end.

Please, my friend. Choose to live.

i dont understand what this is about

I'm glad I caught this before anybody made a snide comeback.

Okay so, in short, Warframe used to have an (much bigger) issue with how its lighting affected your clan's shoulder emblem.

Many of the players who submitted images did so without full knowledge of the parameters that could prevent this from happening.
So I took it upon myself to create a guide to aid players' getting their Emblem to work within that limitation, while not drifting too far from their origional design.

Take for example your Clan's Emblem...
    unknown.png

Because it uses colors that are not too bright, it's appearance in-game will look true to intent.

But let's say for instance it looked like this...
    unknown.png

Because the colors are brighter, the game's lighting engine may affect it too aggressively, causing a "spotlight" of bloom that might obscure the design.

Obviously I used a little overkill in my example, lol

Over the years Warframe's lighting engine has been tweaked and rebuilt a few times, and while it's ... let's say "kinder" to Emblems these days, we will not have a perfect system until players can preview their Emblems within the game's engine before submittal.

Have the fun, and be safe ❤️

  8. Welcome to holyicon's cavalcade of big dum ideas!

These are just some suggestions, QoL improvements or otherwise that would be "nice" if the Dev staff ever had time to do them, but aren't really needed any time soon, if at all.

    === General ===

    Spoiler

#G.1# Specific Weapon Switch Key Binds
Right now we have two binds that function identically: "Switch Weapon" and "Switch Gun".
    unknown.png
Let's fix this by making three binds: "Switch Weapon", "Equip Primary" and "Equip Secondary".
Like before, holding any one of these buttons will equip melee.

#G.2# Bindable Blink Key in Archwing
This bind set would mirror the established "Sprint / Roll" and "Sprint" & "Roll".
    unknown.png
To wit: "Boost / Blink", "Boost" & "Blink".
These Binds would not override commands unused in Archwing, such as "Reload".

    #G.3# RGB Tooltip in Pallets
This is just a simple tooltip that displays the RGB value of the color under the pointer.
Very useful for a color vision deficient player such as myself to match colors they know by value rather that sight.

    #G.4# Dojo Renovation

    #G.5# In-Game Emblem Previewer
With the addition of Clan Emblem Glyphs, this may be the best opportunity to get an in-game preview before submitting Clan Emblems for official use.
Any in-engine preview will do, even support in the TennoGen Tool would be greatly appreciated.
See: How Not to Emblem for further examples of why.

    #G.6# Baro wants Arcanes!
Once a popular bug; now an inventory management essential.
Trade arcanes for Ducats: Limit 10 Arcanes per Week. (because Baro cares ❤️ )
    unknown.png

    === Orbiter ===

    Spoiler

    #O.1# "Check Your Mail!!! REEEEEE" {addressed}
Options toggle for Ordis not to pull up your mail automatically.

    #O.2# Companion Conflicted Mods {addressed}
Mods equipped by a companion's weapon should always be indicated as such even if that companion is not currently equipped.
You may still equip that mod to your weapon, but the mark will remain.
Actual conflicts should be resolved when exiting the Arsenal.

    #O.3# Immature Helminth Infections (addressed}
Just let us inoculate against the Helminth Infection as soon as infected, please.

    #O.4# Sell Blueprints via Foundry
Simple option within the foundry to sell unwanted blueprints from there.

    #O.5# Arsenal Animations
Simple option to pause the idle animations when within the arsenal appearance subscreens.

    #O.6# Arsenal Adblock
Simple option to hide unowned weapons in the arsenal when selecting a weapon to equip.

    #O.7# Persistent Squads
Right now returning to your orbiter from anywhere except a combat mission removes you from your current squad.
This is silly and should be fixed.

    #O.8# Rearranging the Gear Wheel {addressed}
Adds the ability to drag and drop items within the gear wheel to change their location, without the need to undo everything that comes after.
May also drag an item into the space between two others to insert it into the list there.

    #O.9# Quick Decoration Access
Hit [1] at any time in Orbiter to immediately enter deco-placement mode.

    === Combat ===

    Spoiler

    #C.1# Rift and Pickups
Is there a specific reason a player is not allowed to pick up loot while rifted?
I understand datamasses as a matter of balance, but not rubedo.
If vacuum can work through the rift, so should looting!

    #C.2# Opticor Vandal Alt-Fire needed
Basically this lets you switch between the Opticor Vandal fast-charge, low-damage mode and the OG Opticor slow-charge, high-damage mode.

    #C.3# Drop Kick Base Damage
I want this to scale with mastery rank or some other meta statistic.

    #C.4# Zenith Alt-Fire Rework 3.0
This alt-fire has never sat well with me.
Rather than firing the disc as a beacon, it would be better if alt-fire moved it to top of the Zenith as a scope attachment.
A little how the Fulmin works.
Once attached to the Scope, the Zenith's Semi Mode will have a 1.5x Zoom when aiming that has the Codex Scanner visual effect.
This effect lasts until Alt-Fire is used to return the Zenith to Auto-Mode.

    #C.5# Arc Traps... ARC! TRAPS!!!
Arc traps are very lore/immersion breaking. Please find a better implementation for them.

#C.6# That one invisible wall in the Grineer Mines tileset
This bit of broken geometry has never been addressed.

    unknown.pngunknown.png?width=400&height=225unknown.png?width=400&height=226

#C.7# Vandal and Wraith weapons goto Rank 40.
Like other Rank 40 weapons, this would require Forma to accomplish.
Each forma added, adds 2 to the maximum rank, etc... etc...

    #C.8# Reticle indicator for Rift.
Right now the visual effect for being in the Rift isn't obvious enough in too many situations/environments/settings.
    Something like this...
    rift_reticle.png
AND... the Banish sigil should appear as a Buff.
    unknown.png

    #C.9# Ocylus Augment
    "Scan Flora" |- OOO
Ocylus scans all plants within 6~12~18~24 meters every 32~24~16~8 seconds.
Available from Cephalon Simaris for 75,000 Standing.
    mod_scanflora.png

    #C.10# Ice is Nice
Frozen and Cold objects fall faster instead of slower.
Note, this does not affect objects experiencing TIME differently.

#C.11# Void Reactant and Trace Scaling
The amount of reactant need and traces rewarded now scale with the tier of the relic.

    unknown.png

    #C.12# Spare the Little Ones
Latchers, Rollers, Rattals, and other "Summoned Only" Enemies will no longer count towards Exterminate Completion or Defense Kills.
They will also use smaller arrow markers on the mini-map.

    #C.13# Universal Lootings Ltd.
Any loot that does not require manual player interaction (Ayatans, etc...) is now Universally Picked Up for the squad in the same way Credits are now.
Reliquary Relics, 30 min Boosters, Forma and a few other things now require manual interaction to pick up.
This change does not affect ammo or mission specific resources such as Void Reactant and Oxygen Canisters.

    #C.14# Snowglobe UI for Frost
At any given time Frost can have up to Four active snowglobes; however, he can only see what percent the most recently reinforced globe is at.
Let's give the old man a nice UI refresh that shows the Percent and Total Health of each of his Snowglobes, eh?
With an arrow inside each UI Globe that points towards the represented placed Globe, eh?
Or maybe a lifebar above each globe that only Frost can see, eh?
Or maybe cracks that build up as the Globe loses health, eh?

    #C.15# Stealing is Great!
You know how there are items you can carry around during missions?
You know how you can sometimes leave a mission while still carrying them?
What if the first time you carried each specific carriable item out of a mission, you got a Orbiter Decoration of that item?
Maybe there could be an Achievement for stealing all the things?
    Sounds neat, eh?

#C.16# Dropship Cosmetic and Air Support Functionality should get a Divorce.
Pretty simple really. Let us choose our Dropship and Support separately.
Either by selecting them from the Orbiter Appearance tab.
Or by letting us craft each support charge type as its own equippable Gear Item.
    Customization is nice, eh?

    #C.17# Reload 2.0
Have you ever noticed that if your reload animation is interrupted at any point it must restart from the beginning?
No matter how nonsensical that is?
Just how many times can you eject the same empty plasma cartridge?
What exactly happens when you dodge-roll? Does your empty magazine get sucked back up into your gun?
Reloads should have "Restart Breaks" baked into them at logical points in the animation.
Such that if the player has already passes a Restart Break, but interrupts the animation.
The reload will resume from that Restart Break when allowed to continue.
    It only makes sense, eh?

    #C.18#
For each Forma applied to a Warframe, it gets one additional ability Unlocked at Warframe Rank 0.
Example: An Excalibur with 2 Forma will have Slash Dash, Radial Blind and Radial Javelin unlocked at Excalibur Rank 0.
These extra Abilities will then rank up on the Warframe Rank where it would have normally Unlocked.
Applied Forma beyond 3 does not further affect ability unlocks or ranks.

=== Post "War Within" related (Spoilers) ===

    Spoiler

    #S.1# Operator Faces
Operators can still get janky meshing during their mission pop-ups.
Suspect wrong "2nd face" reference in certain animations.

    #S.2# Costume Clipping in Seat
    FIX THIS PLEASE
    unknown.png?width=204&height=300

#S.3# Default to Operator in Orbiter
Simple option to return to orbiter as operator instead of warframe (for RP purposes, I guess).
This would be suppressed by "Creator Mode".

#S.4# Show Focus School in Void Power circle
This thing should show your current focus school instead of the generic focus icon.
    unknown.png?width=400&height=140

    #S.5# Operator Hood Toggle
Pressing reload while in Operator/Warrior Mode should toggle Hood Opened / Hood Closed.

    #S.6# Saturn Six Hood Opened
    This.
    unknown.png

#S.7# Set Focus School per Config Slot Rather than per Loadout
Just saying that this is way more useful than current, though current is still better than none at all.

#S.8# This is Who I Really Are???
Ability to review the decisions you made during previous story quests.

    Ehh.

So many suggested reworks for Vauban, as well as the current Vauban, feel so out of touch with the historical figure he's suppose to be based off of. Tesla, Vortex, Dynamo? Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban is the perfect opportunity for a Warframe focused on blast, impact damage, and barriers, and instead we get electricity, slashing, and wires? Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban literally had two doctrines he was known for in his time (17th century, btw), his defensive doctrine which was his fortress design which was used in the construction of Bourtange in the Netherlands (which is a star like shape, not a circle) and his offensive doctrine, which was effectively "More [gun] powder, less blood" in Grand Battery, using cannon siege weapons focused on a point to create a breach.

You make a really good point.

I've gone through and added in some Blast/Impact focus, and changed some of the terms. Let me know if you'd like to see more?

  14. ---== Fantabulous Vauban Rework! Yaaaayy ==---

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen! You are now reading the Vauban Rework that is going to blow your minds! And is frankly better, oh so much better than literally anything you've read in your entire life!!*
Like the sweet taste of Yorkshire Tea Gold (not sponsored), this rework will kiss your lips and enthrall you into the service of promoting and (dare I say) worshiping this Rework!
So sit back, grab that Tea and prepare yourself for the Sensation, the Synergy, and the Subtle-tea!

First of all, lets make a quick reference to Vauban's current mechanics. Basically he chucks little metal balls around a room and then chills in the corner, waiting for his moment to strike. Unfortunately, this makes ball-boy here somewhat slow guy. One who can have (let's say a SLIGHT bit of) difficulty keeping up with zippy-zappy frames that have adopted lifestyle choices of a moth on cocaine (you know the ones).
On the rare occasion one of these blitzed out tweakers let's Vauban load them up with 30 or so Tesla balls: they get to do all the havoc wreaking for him. You might be tempted to say "Perfectly Balanced" (as all things should be), but what if Vauban could do this himself? Ah... an intriguing and ingenious proposition! So much so, we might even call it... "intrigious™"

    New Mechanics Terms:
     - "Gadget" Any of the objects deployed by Vauban's abilities. Enemies that move near deployed Gadgets trigger their effects.
     - "Orb" Gadgets in the shape of a Orb, Including: "Tesla Orb", "Shred Grenade" and "Vortex Sphere".
     - "Mine" Gadgets in the shape of a Mine, Including: "Trip Mine", "Concuss Claymore" and "Bastille Beacon"

Keeping that in mind, what rework would be complete without looking at his Passive? None I say! So let's dig in. Rather than focusing on the dreary, mundane task of double-tapping enemies that have frankly, already been "handled"; Vauban's Passive should be more "Active" ... stick with me here! Take a sip of tea and read on.

    Passive:
    "Dynamic Engine"
     - Dynamic Engine allows Vauban to refresh and redeploy Orb Gadgets as well as generate Energy.
     - As Vauban moves over an Orb, it will Attach to his body.
     - Up to the first 12 Orbs moved over may be simultaneously attached. Additional Orbs are ignored until space is available.
     - Each Attached Orb provides Vauban with +0.08 Energy per second, and Allies (within 8 meters) with +0.04 Energy per second.
     - Attached Orbs are otherwise deactivated but have infinite duration in this state.

It's now time to address those dusty old abilities that slow Vauban down. Each ability can now be activated in a similar manner: meaning that they each have a Tap and a Hold activation producing a different result for the one used. Wherein you do not need to confirm with a satchel UI to use.
As if anybody used any more than one sub-effect from Minelayer per mission, anyway. So, sip your tea and read with me!

    Ability 1:
    "Tesla and Trip"
1-Handed. Air-Cast. Tossed Forward, No target needed.
{Tap, 20 Energy} Vauban throws a Tesla Orb. This Orb behaves exactly like Old Tesla, except the Old Charged damage value is used for the New Tesla.
{Hold, 25 Energy} Vauban throws a Trip Mine. This Mine behaves exactly like Old Trip Laser, except the model used is a Mine.

    Ability 2:
    "Shred and Concuss"
1-Handed. Air-Cast. Tossed Forward, No target needed.
{Tap, 40 Energy} Vauban throws a Shred Grenade. This Grenade behaves exactly like Old Shred, except the model used is a Grenade.
{Hold, 50 Energy Vauban throws a Concuss Claymore. This Claymore behaves exactly like Old Concuss, except the model used is a Claymore and now also Blinds effected targets for 12 seconds and Deafens for 18 seconds and deals Blast Damage.

HELLO! I've interrupted this ability list in the middle to remind you to pour yourself another cup of tea; preferably Yorkshire Tea Gold! (not sponsored) And if I can get this post to at least 100 Likes, the first 100 people to like the post will be visited in the night by Vauban himself. Who will personally read you the Lotus's Personal Diary in a soft but manly voice while gently stroking your hair. Now back to the list!

    Ability 3:
    "Vortex and Bastille"
1-Handed. Air-Cast. Tossed Forward, No target needed.
{Tap, 60 Energy} Vauban throws a Vortex Sphere. This Sphere behaves exactly like Old Vortex, except the model used is an ornate Sphere and deals Impact damage.
{Hold, 75 Energy} Vauban throws a Bastille Beacon. This Beacon behaves exactly like Old Bastille, except the model used is a Beacon.

    Ability 4:
    "Disperse and Dynamic Barrier"
    2-Handed. Air-Cast. Self-Cast.
{Tap, 70 Energy} Vauban tosses any Attached Orbs where he stands and cannot Attach Orbs for 5 seconds. Any duration on these Orbs are reset.
     - If performed In Air, Vauban will instead toss any Attached Orbs in a 180 degree arc in front of him. Any duration on these Orbs are reset.
{Hold, 10 Energy} Any Orbs Attached to Vauban begin to encircle him along the path of an obtuse 5-point Star (1.25 meter inner radius, 1.75 meter outer radius).
     - These Orbs act as though they were deployed, triggering on any enemy that moves close enough. They do not have a duration in this state.
     - The perpetuation Drain of Dynamic Barrier is 2.5 Energy per second. Perpetuation Drain is affected by Duration and Efficiency (0.63 Energy per second lower cap).
     - While Dynamic Barrier is active, the Orbs are still considered Attached but do not provide Energy to Vauban or his Allies.
     - Enemy bodies suspended within a Dynamic Vortex will block attacks from enemies.
     - Holding the Ability button again will detonate all Orbs dealing Blast damage.
     - Tapping the Ability button while Dynamic Barrier is active will toss the orbs 360 degrees around him. Any duration on these Orbs is set to 50%.

    Augments:
    "Concussive Blockade"
    Replaces "Perpetual Vortex".
Concuss Augment. Deploys an additional 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 Concuss Clamors in an arc in front of Vauban.
    - These Claymores are spaced 2 meters apart and their trigger range is set to 2.25 meters.

So in conclusion, my finely baked ninja sausages, this IS the premiere predominant and preeminent proclamation of Vauban perfection!
And any that disagree must be filthy coffee drinkers (Like you, Dave. You know what you did, Dave. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID) eagerly awaiting Gauss with caked saliva around their espresso stained lips.
    Until next time!

    * - Actual experiences may vary. Claim is not binding.

...Uh, what happened? I blacked out. Well as long as I'm here I may as well say,

As always, have fun out there, be kind to each other, but equally mean to those that oppose the Tenno!

    None whatsoever

I think the official statement is 'go be colorblind someplace else' -can't remember who said that originally maybe i'm reading too much into their actions

at the very least they're indifferent to the issue

@[DE]Pablo contends that he checks everything with some website for colour deficient vision compatibility.
However, I find that to be woefully insufficient.
And I've long advocated for less Colour Sight Dependant game mechanics.
Some things have been changed over time for the better. I give them much thanks for that.
But some things remain obfuscated by colour.

We're only like what, 7% to 12% of the population? What company wants us playing their games, anyways? </sarcasm>

Even on games like Destiny 2 and Overwatch I find their "Colour Blind Modes" to just be haphazard pallet swaps.
That's not REAL Colour Deficient Support!
They completely fail to realize the whole issue is you either can't see the proper SHAPE of things or make Snap Decisions if you're unsure of the colour you're looking at.
You RARELY have verifiable comparative colours nearby to help you.
You RARELY have Icons or Marks anymore for things like Rarity or even Enemies!

These UI 'slash' Art Asset designers are so up their own arse about presenting the " game-feel experience" they want you to have, that they completely exclude the players that cannot see it!

I'm sorry about the tone of this, but it's just such a berserk button for me when my disability makes it difficult for me to enjoy an otherwise great game.
And this wouldn't be an issue if DE took the laughably easy steps to address it.
It's literally no different than if DE ran a hotel with no Wheelchair Accessible Bathrooms.
And the staff is like, "Wet yourself, we don't care. The other guests can use the bathroom just fine." </rant>

    To be clear about OCD.
A ritual is another term for a compulsive coping mechanism.
To use your example, skin picking in response to anxiety caused by uneven or bumps on skin.
It becomes an "obsessive-compulsion" when the urge to do it overrides your will to stop and/or cause yourself/others harm by doing it.

As an aside, these rituals are not always directly linked to the trigger.
Such as having to recite a specific poem when closing a door, to avoid your experiencing massive anxiety about the safety of your family.

    Note:

    Quote

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is characterized by recurrent, persistent, unwanted, and intrusive thoughts, urges, or images (obsessions) and/or by repetitive behaviors or mental acts that patients feel driven to do (compulsions) to try to lessen or prevent the anxiety that obsessions cause.

Compare: read again the Original Post (OCPD):

    Quote

Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder is characterized by a pervasive preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, and control (with no room for flexibility) that ultimately slows or interferes with completing a task.

But as indicated, it is possible to suffer from both. The note is that this is rare. There are possibly other symptoms the OP is not mentioning that include compulsive, intrusive actions; however, they only indicated Preoccupation with Orderliness (et al) as the manifestation of their trigger. And this falls more in-line with OCPD.

    As for:
"First, it's not really appropriate to tell someone whether or not they are suffering from a mental illness."
I was not telling anyone if they did or did not have a mental illness.
What I said was, "If you feel you are suffering from either of these; it's important to get checked out by a qualified physician as soon as possible."

The issue I'm addressing is that often self-diagnosed OCD is actually OCPD, and this can prevent people from getting the care they really need.
Since people are more likely to self-treat mental illness than seek help.
    I'm simply offering a tool.

That said, they may already be in care programs, and if so that's great.
But one of the most important things they teach you, is not to expect the rest of the world to re-order itself to serve your specific triggers.
And that leads me to think that they perhaps are not getting the care that they really need.
I'll concede, maybe this isn't the best place for that, but who knows?

For what it's worth, @SpicyDinosaur. I'm glad you got a diagnosis and are (hopefully) following a care-path.
And as I said before. Please take your mental health very seriously.

I wish you well, Tenno. Peace!
