As you mentioned Germany tho,yesterday I couldn't login with vpn when it was set on Germany server but I successfully connected when I switched it to Spain server.And as I already said my clan members are all from one country and some have issues and some don't.

You have some nice and solid ideas.I too feel like being able to use app while you are in the game is one of the most important things.I even included that in my topic that i wrote long ago.
But your title is a bit hursh.App is not that bad and they are still in process of developing it.There are a lot of things added to it not that long ago.

They didn't respond.There is nothing officially said by DE.People posting their support tickets is not official awnser.
All I want is for them to come out and give us explanation and awnsers.I have dynamic ip adress that is also under CG-Nat.I personally want to know would things be better if I paid more for static IP.But like I said there is nothing officially said by DE and I don't want to waste my money.I can login using vpn but that is a temporary fix,not long term one.

Well the point of this topic is that DE awnsers these questions.I really dont need anyone else to guess whats going on or tell me how to fix this.I know my PC basics very well.I also followed forum topics about this problem so I can say with certainty that I was the first one that diagnosed the problem correctly,that they banned our IP.

There is a login thread with a support response in it. The DDOS protection used on the servers is catching some players and they don't have a way of un-banning specific IP addresses. As IP address allocation is dynamic it is probable that addresses that have been part of attacks have been re-allocated to regular folks. I'd check your IP address at www.whatismyip.com and then power off your router/modem for a few hours and then turn it back on and check the IP again. Eventually you should get a new IP which should hopefully fix it. The support response also mentioned asking your ISP if they can convert you to IPv6.
They obviously can't just turn the DDOS protection off and from the sound of it the IP addresses that get blocked are controlled by a third party who provide the service.
I am sure DE will have some explanation how it's not them but us players causing the issue.
First of all this began with Fortuna update not even month ago.If I played Warframe for 3,5 years without problems and if I play other online games now without problems then how it can be my problem?
This is something new they added and if it is banning players from logging in it's not working well,is it?
I have read that support awnser that someone posted.Do you know what they told me?To change bunch of settings...

It seems that cause of so many players not being able to login is some automated system Warframe servers have that banns our ip address.Thats new...
This all is very frustrating and it lasts for days now.This is happening on all platforms and all regions.What is more frustrating is that there is no official awnser from DE.
Please give some official awnsers to this:
-Inform players officially on what is causing this.
-How long is going to take to fix this?
-Is this how its going to be from now on or you are planning to remove this?
-Are one and same ip addresses going to suffer from this whenever new update and event is launched?

It is happening in all regions.It is also happening on all platforms.
This is caused by our IP addresses getting banned ,so we can't access server.

Here is what some pc player posted on pc bug reports.Simply said your IP is banned by server and you cant do anything about it.

Unfortunately this is a part of the IP protection that is enabled for the Warframe Servers and is a completely automated system. All of these bans are temporary, but Support does not have a means of sharing how long these bans can be, or removing them manually. In the mean time, using a fast and reliable VPN for your area can be a temporary fix until the ban is lifted from your IP. We would suggest trying once each day to login to Warframe so that you know when the ban has been lifted.
Unfortunately aside from that the only other thing i can suggest at this point is asking your ISP for an IPv6 connection if you haven't gotten one already. These issues are sometimes caused by IPv4 connections and changing your connection type could fix the issue.

Try to log into app with using mobile internet.Do not connect to Wi-Fi.
As for VPN try other servers on list or other vpn providers .Last time I had this issue at beginning of the month AVG Secure VPN worked for me.Didnt try it now tho.

In my opinion what they do is: They randomly(I hope) ban access to their servers because they are at their max capacity ,usually when update comes out so others can play without any connection problems.
So my wild guess here is that we will be able to log in when number of online players goes down.
I really believe this is the story here and wouldn't trust DE's announcements which will probably say its happening because your isp,configuration or anything like that.
I play this game for 3,5 years,have 3k playing time and I can say that something like this has NEVER happened before.With every big update you maybe lost connection,couldn't log in but less than 24h,but no ones ip got banned for whatever reason.

I can't wait to see how are they going to compensate missed Baro visits,expired boosters...I guess they will simply turn their blind eye to this whole situation and tell us it's our fault.
But thruth and a fact is that players that are banned for no reason whatsoever are heavily discriminated by DE.This protection or whatever they call it is only gonna make a lot of players quit playing the game they can't play.

Countries are not blocked,ip addresses are.I am member of a clan where players are from one country and even isp is the same for most players.Some play without problems while others,like me are blocked.This is individual and targeted.I have seen here on forum that guys from all regions and countries having this issues.

DE ...wow...Just step back and look which online game does this...None.

Well I wouldn't expect they would come out and say:"You know reason you can't login is because our servers don't have enough capacity ,we wish we could but we are keeping number of servers on minimum because they are expensive af".That would give them very bad reputation and no serious company would admit that.
What they shouldn't do on the other hand,Zendesk support especially, is tell players to change Windows and network settings when they know what is going on and even if they don't(hardly), number of tickets about same problem should be obvious enough.
Simple "We are having difficultys with our servers and number of players can't log in because of it"should be more than enough.

I think it's more about investing in their servers.What happened here is that their severs are overcrowded.Maybe they should have some backup ones for events when lot of people is online,if that is possible.
I do understand them however.Servers are super expensive and I guess they are keeping number of them to optimal minimum.When events or major updates launch they don't have capacity to hold that many online players which number is a lot greater than normal.That hype however doesn't last long and soon everything goes back to normal.
The thing I hold a grudge against DE however is why am I always the one that can't connect to servers when this happens.There are clan mates in my clan that are from same country,using same isp,same OS and same internet package, reporting that some ,like me,always can't connect and some always play without problems on recent major updates.That is the thing I find strange and it didn't work like this before in my 3,5 year old experience with this game,not to mention that I play other online games too which run without any problems.

Don't reinstall the game,dont touch your windows or network settings,you just can't connect to servers,thats all.It is their issue not yours.

This is not something that has ever happened before.I play this game actively for 3,5 years and have 3k+ playing hours,so I should know.It looks too me like this is something new and faulty,not some server protection that was here before.I also play other online games and visit all sites without any problems whatsoever.And how come that I have same isp,same strict nat dynamic address for over 2 years and this happened only this month and not only to me,I am not isolated case,there are plenty of them having the same issue.Visit bug report pages on all platforms and see for yourself.
With that said...
I don't really want to fix anything if their "server protection" is faulty and bugged and they intend to fix it.For now I use vpn to log in and I wait...Only thing I want is for DE to explain all of this and give us some facts.
