  1. But yeah, that's a little too OP

     

    Well, RHino and every frame in  this game is already kinda OP in thier own way.....soooo, idk why erryone is even up in arms about RHino in the first place.  But if we are, thats what I would do to him.  Maybe not that drastic, but thats the basic idea.  If it actually made sense.

  2. We DO have the Grineer-tech future verion of the AK-47, you can clearly see the inspiration in the Karak

     

    Actually, I see AK47 in the Soma, I see M16 in the Karak. 

     

    Tiberon, I see WWII German G43 rifle. 

     

    THe Grinlok?  I think it is, its clearly that winchester lever action rifle.

  3. The difficulty is when mobs start grouping up around 5 ancient healers giving the 80 other mobs around them 9000% Damage reduction, paired alongside thier ability for each mob in that mob to 1 shot 3000 points of rhino shield.  For a lesser WF, its 1 shot, rez, 1 shot, rez, 1 shot....

     

    Not diffuclt, just $&*&*#(%&.

     

    THis game goes from where you are the one doing the one shotting, to being the one getting 1 shot.  No real good progression where you slowly see an increase in difficulty, its just pow, pow, pow, pow...wow these guys are wimps...

What the hell is with it?   This game, for the most part is fun and works, but it also has a wide variety of random and VERY goddamn annoying bugs that are just so damn rage inducing...mostly cuz of how they botch missions and force quit missions on me, or are just irritating as hell...

     

    So far, ive encountered

     

    2 times on Void Sabotage, Sprag went Invulnerable and i couldnt kill her, had to quit cuz I couldnt get the key.  then, we killed both mobs, and the key didnt drop, had to quit again.

     

    Just now, Uranus Defense, im walking across a bridge, fall down the side, cant get back up, I fell through the world, but I can climb back up, but now im stuck outside the world looking into the area I was just in.  Ccant get back in, but im stuck there.  Had to quit again.

     

    Then, the like 15 times I am unable to invite my dad and bro into a mission with me, so I have to quit to get them in.  BUt, lets not forget, half the time i CAN and AM ABLE to invite them mid mission.  This game needs to get goddamn clue on that.  Either we CAN 100% of the time invite players in, or 100% of the time we CANT.  Not Oh, now you can, now you cant, now you cant, now you cant, now you can, now you can...oh, not this time.  THis time?  SURE.  Oh what? You need help?  nope, you cant.  yeah.

     

    Oh, then was doing a simple Corpus Exteriminate and suddenly one of the doors wouldnt open.  Hacked it, it was green but the door wouldnt open, and for 5 minutes I tried to do w/e to see if it would reset, nothing.  IT just didnt want to open, yet another quit mission. 

     

    THen we have the random S#&$ with inviting from our ship.  One minute, we can click the person's name and invite by chat window, then the next it says "unable to invite, currently not in session".  TO that I say, NO S#&$!?  Let me invite him dumbass.  Then other times I cant even invite through Esc, invite group member, it just fails.  And typically, invites always fail on the first attempt. 

     

    Next, we have the part where the game will just RANDOMLY out of the clear blue just turn into this laggy &#! miserable mess making t he game a slide show, that after about a minute or so just locks the game up entirely, forcing a quit mission and restart of the PC. 

     

    THen there is just  the random part about how mobs can fly through walls and stuff....thats just derpy.  Always gotta remember, the Jet pack grineer, might be awall there, but htye can go through it and fire rockets down on me from above......through the tunnel roof.  JUst annoying there.  Other times ive had mobs on defense stuck UNDER the ground, and had it not been for being Rhino with a stomp, likely woulda forced another quit mission cuz we couldnt kill him. 

     

    Just so many minor and sometimes bigger bugs that just make this game annoying as hell sometimes.  29 quit missions, of which....0 are actually me quitting for any legit reason.  Every time, its either a bug that breaks the game, so I cant complete it, or inability to add people to my squad, cuz the game decided that THIS time around, Nope, you cant add.  And it was usually not that far into the mission. 

  5. the difference being the supra deals puncture, so against armor it balances out those small flaws. the gorgons deal impact, so they are aimed toward shields. unless you are foolishly trying to snipe with the supra, i really don't see any problems with it, even with heavy caliber. just use the weapon where it's intended, which is any grineer mission on the star chart, except maybe uranus due to those units having alot higher stats. 

     

    Well, whats your idea of snipe?  Cuz no, I Dont try that.  I am usually mid-short range in the enemies faces with it.  About the most "sniping" ive done with it, is trying to hit the little portions of guys hiding behind a wall.

    Yes, yes I do

     

    I have over 10,000 kills with it.  And hardly any spool up, is not really the problem, its how slow the spool up it does have is.....I hate how it goes from 1RpS to 5RpS to 10RpS to 5000 RpS and flies all over the screen.

     

    While the Gorgon and Soma, they start at what seems like for the soma's 15RpS, it starts at like 13.5rps and quickly spools up to its 15 and feels very controlled.  Same for the Gorgon, 12.5RpS, but it starts at like 10RpS and spools up quickly and feels controlled. 

     

    Supra starts off slowest, slower, slow, OMGSLOWDOWN!!!!! as it suddenly goes from spitting out 1 or 2 rounds to spitting out a wall of flashing lights that sail all over the screen.    I put Fast trigger back on it to make that initial spool up better, but then the other issues of high recoil, velocity and accuracy kick back in.

     

    THe Supra just feels very clunky and uncontrolled.  It does good dmg, its good mag size, good ammo reserves, its hard stats are mostly ok, its the soft stats and its overall handling I wish were buffed a little. 

  7. Armor should reduce damage to Iron skin, shields and health.  Rhino base armor should be like 500.

     

    Id trade in Iron skin's resistances to stuns, knock downs, and other stuff like that, for vastly improved overall durability. 

     

    Where 200 points of iron skin gives like 1000 effective shield health.  Then his 100 base shields give effective like 500.  give Rhino massive armor and damage type resistances instead of grab resistances, walking through energy shield resistances and the like. 

     

    GIve RHino resistances to things like Phorid's move where he ignores shields and attacks directly into health. 

     

    Change Rhinos shields from being 100% impervious to being more a damage reduction, mroe akin to Planetside 2's Heavy Assault Resistance shield.  Then, as your Rhino increases in lvl, you gain a higher lvl of dmg reduction.  say, 50% at first, then 65, 80, and 95% resistance for up to x amount of damage.  BUt give him alot higher base armor so he takes reduced damage from the get go. 

     

    So where now he just takes 10 dmg to his iron skin, instead, buffed armor, damage type resistances, he will reduce incoming damage to like 5 first, then its reduced again by his shields to like 2...and THAT is what is split like 1/1 into his iron skin and regular shields. 

     

    Where right now, where the Void Corpus SHotguns tear open my Rhino's nearly 3000 points of ironskin/shields in 3-5 shots, with this new idea, they would need to unload into rhino to even really make a dent, as that damage would be massively reduced.  So, instead of taking 1000 dmg a shot, its reduced to like 350... 

  8. The Mastery lock is a little odd, imho, but only due to what other options have opened up for players since it was introduced. I kinda view it as a fun workhorse and something I just personally like the look/style of rather than anything else.

     

    However, with the Syndicate mod for it and a nice chunk of forma helping Shred sit in there next to other elemental mods, it's turned into a great weapon for playing frequently casting Waframes during defense/survival with others.

     

    I actually found it quite annoying that this game has no low lvl LMGs.  Then to get them all and find out they are not terrible, but not worth that kind of grind and wait.  Supra, if it was to be mastery locked, should be more like MR3 material.  Soma, sure, it can be MR6, its a down right amazing weapon with no equal in the universe.  Gorgon is actually quite terrible, the base one....and its only gotten as a login reward, that makes no sense.  Rare weapon that is total junk......

     

    Would be nice to open up LMG options for lower tier players.  Sure, there are better options, but its good to have the variety.  ITs what I was looking for until I got my Soma.

     

    Ofc, I think the whole lvl lock thing is a little $&*&*#(%& in the first place....but meh, im not gunna change it.

  9. I'm personally in favor of DE removing all pure damage mods and then reworking the enemy scaling. I think it would make for a much more enjoyable game.

     

    So how does the enemy scale? 

     

    And you want it where Serration, Heavy cal and mods like that cease to exist?  Then we get only those utility cards to mod our guns with?

  10. Use Shred for a shorter spool-up and additional punch through and for projectile speed you can also run with Zephyr's Jet Stream, which makes the lasers extremely fast if you have some power strength on her.

    I'm using it pretty frequently now and it's pretty good. Not as good as a Boltor Prime maybe, but unlike before, it now deserves to have its mastery lock.

     

    I do have shred on it. 

     

    Deserves it's mastery lock?  I would say no....its not quite that good.  Soma, Braton Prime, Tiberon, and a few other guns are still overall better  then it.

  11. I also think that enemy AI and variety is what should be increasing for higher level missions rather than just enemies getting crazy armor and health boosts.

     

    Yeah, exactly.  Make the game difficult in a fun way, not just making the enemies invulnerable and 1 shotting you...that just makes it annoying, boring and inspires RAGEQUITZZ!!!

  12. Yeah, commands of some kind would be grand.  Having my dog rush in and attack 30 mobs when im trying to GTFO of dodge can be annoying.  Kinda forces me to stay and fight so the dog will come with.

  13. Yeah, why dont weapons have thier own exilus slot?  They totally should. 

     

    THings like FIre rate mods and stuff belong there.  We could also get an accuracy mod.

     

    Id love a Nightmare Mod

     

    +50% Accuracy, +50% Weapon velocity.  A Mod almost entirely for the Supra and Gorgon.  Though the GOrgon would benefit from only half of it.

  14. Developers that listen to the community and actually try and fix the biggest complaints:

    The weapon customization system that means everyone uses the same mods 99% of the time.

     

    I could go on....

     Your NEVER going to fix that issue.  Even if DE were to remove every single "meta' mod in the game, players would simply move to a new "meta' and another set of cards would be "the best".  While, yeah, it is derpy to make 1000 cards, of which like 10 are considered best and therefore used, its never going away....

     

    Ofc, not making the game a race to 1 shot the mobs before they 1 shot you, is a good place to start....giving everyone less reliance on just pure DPS to out do the millions of mobs running at you....not power creeping mobs so a single guy needs 3 1/2 mags from a Super Meta Soma Prime to kill is another good place to start.   Maybe then adding less dmg mods and more utility might be viable. 

     

    But so far what I can tell of this game, its much like other games....either you do t he 1 shotting, or are the one being 1 shot.  I have yet to really get into a fight where the mobs gave me a good fight.  Even in my non-Rhino crutch Warframes, either I totally dominate them, or they randomly 1 shot me....fought Phorid yesterday....he and his minions....1 shot....

     

    So basically, its all about killing the mobs as fast as we can so as to avoid the 1 shot and to spend less time killing 1 mob, since there is 3000 coming our way.

    Actually give Nova a minigun plz. 

     

    Id give RHino an M60 GPMG style weapon, since hes most like Rambo...press 2, fire till the gun goes click, stare out  at the pile of dead bodies.  wash, rinse, repeat.  Ofc, a minigun would do just as well.

     

    But I really dont want a gun with the dmg of soma with the acc of a heavy caliber'd Gorgon and the crit/status chance of a Tiberon......then given the crazy RoF of like 35RpS and a small mag of 100 rounds.....cuz thats what it would be for "balance".

  16. bottom line is stop trying to push weapons up to your T4 level. stop it. use weapons where they are supposed to be used. 

     

    I have no idea what T4 level means.

     

    Im not trying to make the weapon god mode, just better feel when using it.  I think I narrowed down its horrid feel though.  Its slow &#! initial spool RoF.....unlike the Gorgon and Soma, whose RoF obviously start at like 1RpS slower or something and they spool up fast, the Supra seems like it starts form like 5RpS, cuz its so slow going then suddenly it takes off and its all over the page.  So, quick bursts it fires so damn slow its absurd, then if you hold it down, it just suddenly spits out 50 rounds and they hit nothing but air due to the recoil. 

     

    They should give it a higher initial spool up time.....

  17. Yep still not worth using. Needs a round 2 of buffs.

     

    Its not so bad that its not worth using.  I won the Wraith Alert with it, jacked it up wtih 644 gas dmg and unloaded into the infested.  Its not terrible.  Just inaccurate, high recoil and slow velocity.  High recoil makes the inaccuracy amplified.  So, either buff acc, or lower recoil, id rather they buff accuracy.  All 3 of those factors play into each other making the gun a little more frustrating to use then it should be at times. 

     

    Sitting across a room, burst firing into a couple of grineer croucching behind a wall and cant hit em cuz recoil and inaccuracy are throwing the rounds all over the place.  Or firing across the Corpus INterception map, watching as it takes like 5s for the shot to go across the canyon just to miss due to velocity.
