    Thank god they fixed Mag.

Alright, evening Tenno! Time to listen to my inner thoughts - but to avoid being a broken record I'm going to have a section on bugs I've found and would like to draw attention to, as well as things I would like to see changed (note, I am not advising anybody at DE, I doubt anything I say affects Anything).

So, my lofty ideas this patch:

First of all I would like to say that I run Raids a lot, and have done for the past few months (quite successfully I might add) - and in this time I have found that more than half of the Arcanes I find are almost completely worthless to my playstyle and builds. As such, I imagine an 'Arcane Randomiser' might just do the trick. In essence, this would allow Raid veterens to boil down worthless Arcanes, for a chance to create great ones. For example, by sacrificing 3 Arcane Deflections (bleh) it may give a chance to give another Arcane, this would be completely random. but would still allow the chance to get something good, from items we truly cannot sell, or use.

So, as the bugs go I have encountered three major ones I would like to address:

In a Law of Retribution Raid, enemies failed to appear on the first mission and the last mission out of the three. For those not familiar with the Raid, mission 3 needs enemies in order to allow players to finish - it is Vital as the enemies spawn with a bomb, that must be collected in order to advance. As none of the enemies appeared, this was an impossible mission.
(This goes hand in hand with the Disruptor drones on Nightmare mode that still have no effect, other than obnoxiously wide bubbles that serve to irritate and nothing more).

Furthermore, on numerous occasions I have encountered a bug where I have been rendered unable to aim glide, and use my melee weapon. As I almost only play Valkyr at this point, she is all I have noticed this bug on - however I am unable to replicate it effectively and cannot confirm if it happens on Valkyr only. All I know, is that it seems to involve being knocked down, so appears to be an animation cancelling gone horribly wrong. Only death fixes this bug that causes my Warframe to twitch violently, at the press of E.
(Valkyr's Bonds have also been removed from the Market and cannot be found in her Appearance section of the Arsenal for players who did not already own them.

Finally, and I personally have not encountered this bug - players have on numerous occasions reported being stuck in the End of Mission screen, unable to quit without using alt+F4 to completely close the client. I have encountered a similar bug however, though it may not be related, whereby I had a profile stuck in the background of my screen, however I had access to chat, and access to the market through [itemname] links. This too, was only solved with a complete shut down of the client.

  2. I made a suggestion in the recent hotfix and explained what I thought - the pets could vacuum items and resources to themselves, collect it, and deposit it near to the player character. The vacuum mod would work the same for pets as it does for Sentinels (i.e, a 12 metre radius), but instead allows pets to move around, collect from around the battlefield and return them to us.

    Spamming much?

You also posted this on the Index preview tonight.

Not trying to be rude but this is getting annoying especially since you seam to enjoy being the first poster on every thread DE posts.

I did make a change, but you are correct - I try to get one of the first comments in most updates, I like putting my ideas out there.

However I change the ideas I present each update, so as not to spam, the only reason this is a close repeat is that the hotfix was released about 45 minutes after the update.

    Reiteration of last post:

Firstly, now that the Sentinels have all been looked at again, I believe a little more can be done - first of all, Kubrows and Kavats should get the Vacuum treatment, just to level the playing field - now, I wasn't clear in my last post, which led to a few comments stating that companions should not have Vacuum. What I really meant was that they should have a similar mechanic. An idea I had was the Kubrows and Kavats could have a vacuum mod allowing resources to float to them, which they routinely deposit near to our player character. This brings more use to them frantically running around, and gives us more of a reason to pay attention to them as they dash about.

Also, Djinn and Dethcube should have the cooldown on their abilities reduced.
Dethcube and Djinn currently have a 30 second cooldown on their abilities, which is slightly too high for Djinn, and crippling for Dethcube - if Djinn was brought down to 20 seconds, and Dethcube to 5 both would be massively viable and competative. Heck, I only mention Djinn as I love it so much, currently it is potent anyway.

Secondly, I still believe that Guides are not visible enough to the players who need to know that we are there to assist - currently the armour and sigil mean nothing to the playerbase it is meant to indicate to, this is noticed from no lower level players I have assisted in mission asking about the armour, the sigil, or knowing what the point of them was. Perhaps a profile indication, or an in-game link we can provide to easily show players we are there to assist would help players know where to look for help. [Guide of the Lotus] with a description of our duties would be of benefit here.

Thirdly, perhaps some love for the Machetes? WIth the new Gazal one (which is a beautiful weapon by the way) it might be time to start helping them out. The current stance is too janky with the animations, clunky at best and downright irritating at worst. Something more akin to a sword stance with more sidewards, sweeping blows perhaps would be perfect - with a dashing forward downward slice.

Evening Tenno, another Update, another great set of content to hold us over to the War Within!

So, what would I like to see coming up in this game:

So! Let's talk about what's been going on and what I would like to see!

Firstly, now that we have Machete's seeing much more love, it would be nice to eventually get another stance for them - something with a better normal combo, instead of the janky - chopping motion we have now.

Also, now we have the Vacuum mod it would be appropriate to add it to Companions. However, there are multiple ways it could work - I am in favour of an option where the Companion will draw resources to themselves from 12 metres away, and the resources they collect are instantly transferred to you. You do not gain a Vacuum radius around your character. This would distinguish Companions from Sentinels somewhat, while still keeping them useful!

Oh, will it also be possible to scan the Ayatan Sculptures soon enough? It would be glorious to add them to the codex - especially as we are able to scan them whilst in our Orbiters - the reason we are able to use Scanners in the Orbiter is currently unclear.

This has also been talked about by Devs before, but I would still love to be able to individually customise armour parts in the appearance section of the Arsenal - this is minor, but as soon as the War Within comes out it would be a feature I would Love to see.

  7. My friend, I do believe you are thinking of Call of Duty, Battlefield and other first person Shooters. Warframe is in Third Person, and is an entirely different genre.
May I ask what your attachments would add that mods do not? Warframe has an upgrade system already I'm afraid.

  8. I have noticed while playing the Endurance mission of Long Shadows that occasionally while switching into Hysteria, I am then unable to melee attack (in Hysteria, pressing E has no effect, while out of Hysteria pressing E will cause the weapon to jitter, but not swing), I am unable to roll at all, I am unable to aim-glide (I can still aim while in the air, but I sink like a stone) and I cannot be staggered by normal attacks (although ground slam enemies still cause Valkyr to 'bounce back').

This appears to be caused by the Reaver enemies - as the glitch has happened a few times while changing into Hysteria, while being directly shot by the Reaver Tonkors. This bug is irreversible, except upon death.

On further testing, all of Valkyr's abilities still work, however she is also still able to perform finisher attacks, however this does not restore melee capabilities.

Valkyr is also able to be 'Pounced' upon by the Nightwatch Manics while in Hysteria - which deactivates Hysteria, and has the added effect of dragging Valkyr out of the map, preventing allies from being able to revive:

Sorry for the late edit! Let's discuss some changes I'd like to see, personally:

As a Guide I still feel the sigil and shoulder pad do nothing to identify us to players who need help most - we need something in relays that clearly states 'we are here to help you'. As such, perhaps something glowing above us stating precisely this is needed.

Furthermore, as decoration becomes more of a past time (IKEAframe I'm looking at you) it would make a lot of sense to have a toggle on, toggle off decorating system. It is frustrating to place one item at a time, navigate the menu, place something else, and then do the exact same if changes need to be made. It is slow, and un-intuitive, and this is the same for clan Dojos.

Also, and I speak only for new players here, there need to be more tutorials, perhaps even simulated events that directly show how to do something - for instance a tutorial that takes a player to a simulated trading post with a spectre, that they can trade with. This will explain how trading works, while giving players visual information, which is arguably more valuable than an explanation.
