  1. Hmm, well I am more curious about when Dispositions next shift about here and there, as the devs work on how to handle rivens in the future.

Currently, popularity is leading meta aspects for weapons like the Scoliac to have been a top prospect, and then changes were made in regards to such range on enemies and map geometry to indirectly affect that relationship. Not to mention the challenges provided to unveil Rivens in the first place.

So eventually, I can imagine that something would change. Just have to wait and see, I suppose.

  2. Hmm, I happen to have run out of Amber Stars, as I've gotten plenty of Anasas to fill and find way more Cyans than Ambers.

If the drop chance on Ambers does not get adjusted, this could certainly be a reasonable alternative for filling out Ayatans.

I would like to read more, and i hope fixing the fishing is up there on the list, because without the use of special bait, i cant catch special fish....no special fish parts means no cetus crafting....unless i buy them with platinum which is...not happening

1001172558094524418Here is one link to help illustrate the scope of intended changes, that need to roll out in phases, due to the UI coding.

I need to check for the other area I learned of this myself.

  4. My understanding is that the devs realize this problem and are prioritizing solutions to the point of causing problems as they rebuild the system from the ground up.

So Kudos for the devs to get things back to 'normal' with time ASAP.

If you care to read more, there are a set of issues that the devs have chosen to handle now to attain a much stronger foundation, as they work to add more to Warframe in the long run.

  5. I can still remember being confused when I first learned of Syndicates existing and how they interacted.

Overtime, I sought to craft they whys for antagonism and came to see a tribal basis, used for their hard differences. Now I can appreciate the nuance found in the intentions, and the need to fit them into the structure they exist in now.

As I did spends countless hours seeing how a new faction or two could maybe or maybe not allow Steel Meridian and Perrin finally see a common ground to be on at least neutral terms, so that they'd oppose the Grineer, granted before quests told us of the Queens and Operators. But meh, such a scenario would have required quite the paradigm shift even if both were against the same overarching enemy. Thank you my Poli Sci degree I guess? And the devs with such forward thinking in establishing such nuance.

  6. Dauntless? Hmm, need to see for myself.

As for Warframe, I realize there is a schedule that the devs feel that they need to follow based on metrics they've been collecting over time (and yeah I got to see one or two of those presentations).

The key factor is striking a balance to keep growing, while still being yourself.

So sometimes a re-evaluation is necessary and a new direction can be invigorating, certainly.

As a player and distant observer, I want to believe that PoE was one such direction change, that has added to Warframe (and there have been many other smaller steps in between over time, that also need acknowledgement, as this sort of progress can be very creatively and technically challenging overtime). I am happy to at least be a witness!

So to restate, the key elements are being true to what you want to be, listening and then implementing adaptions to keep progress moving forward and then being open to expanding when opportunities present themselves as time goes on.

What more can a player ask for?

  7. This OP makes me share I've been involved in PC gaming since '94, '95 across too many early formats to state wily nily, and wonder if this is just another drunk post? Like anyone ever played the first Marathon or MechWarrior? When graphics cards where evolving like every week? It was insane!

The evolution of games based on the performance of their mediums and what developers could see as change was so fast has me ask why frame this thread?

Would you like to know more.

I went to the banjo, and remembered Spectre,   dunno how many hours I spent with my dad playing that one.

  8. inside of warframe, this sounds cool for a new warframe ability.

granted, that ability, was stronk in the proper situations for Bioshock series with enough investment as needed, just that with how such aspects may best work here, this feels like a good primary focus for a new warframe, as Nyx already has a particularly reasonable focus, to then add on two other abilities to such a strong third or fourth ability on such a new Warframe.

  9. Dual Void Swords for my Warframe to slice and dice? Yes, Please!

Melee for Operators? I personally hope not, as I have the preference that what we see as 'Operator Mode' is that of a Void Energy Manifestation that is generated from proximity to our Warframe. In another manner of saying, our Warframe acts as a router, and the Operator is the Modem and/or ISP, no longer needing the chair to channel services for enemy consumption.

Essentially meaning that our rather Potent 'Operator' mode relies entire on our Warframes to exist and allows for our Operators to never need to dangerously leave the Orbiter.

Things like Onkko can be explained through this use of a visor to 'virtualize' that spot in Cetus to share and sell data to Tenno, similar to how 3-D Printing is building itself up over time with clever licensing schemes, as sophistication increases.

  10. All I can imagine is a poor Tenno shouting in desperation something so often as their heart pumps, in the heat of the moment, to eventually just garble the phrase down to 'Lutos' to keep pace and losses their voice, as she/he is fight off a wave of Sentient fighters.

With that said, I'd have no problem having Mirage P's intro video have a beginning with Ballas, and then have the Lotus interject, as we watch Mirage get swarmed by Sentients. And so I now go see if that intro has been finished or not and will edit in what I see!!!

Pretty sure that's all we have so far. You would have to read into it to find all of Rebs answers to questions.

@catastrophy Exalted weapons are weapons that can only be used by certain warframes on their 4th ability. Ie Valkys claws, Mesas pistols, Wukongs staff, Excaliburs blades etc.

    At any rate, neato toledo.

I can think of a few things I can have setup with my Warframes, with such flexibility.

With arcanes you can have up to 6 revives, which mean you almost can't die, because there is squad that can revive you (without using your limited revives).

Or on high leveled content low leveled players can be carried through the whole mission by just reviving them over and over again.

Not to mention that you can go into Operator mode use Void mode and revive someone without any RISK.

Also it can be frustrating to revive people over and over again that are dying every 30 seconds. (You can just ignore them, but I feel bad then. And losing someone means less help in further mission. If you could not revive people over and over again then it's fine because it's a mechanic in game. While right now I feel like I have to revive them over and over again, which is frustrating for me.)

    How to change it:
-Every time someone is revived that person get 90 seconds cooldown on revives. If he dies nobody can revive him "no bleed out timer", he have to use his limited revive.

For people who want me to unequip OverPowered stuff that I use:
Utilizing available and standard mechanics in games to accomplish a goal should always be considered a legitimate play style.
There is no reason to purposely put myself at a disadvantage if the game offers and easier solution.
If a mechanic is in the game then it is the developers intention for it be used in one way or another and I will not limit myself strictly because the methods I use are considered "cheap".
About revive mechanic in game, it's a different story, because it's a mechanic in game and I'm using it all the time, but it's make the game just too easy, making us immortal. So I hoping for changing that.

I have to admit that I cannot follow your logic here.

If the goal is to have more of a challenge, then I do not see how this idea helps.

If the goal is to mess with players that

    • get stuck in maps in ways that /unstuck does not help
    • or cannot use abilities/melee/get animation locked (where spending a revive can reset things),
    • or lose their Sentinel (as the only way to gain it back now is to waste a Revive),

Then sure, I can see why this particular idea is being considered for Warframe.

I have experience with other games like ESO, for example, that uses an effectively Infinite number of Soul Gems (that is practically limited by how many Gems you and other players carry in their inventory) as a means to revive (granted you also have a cooldown of being a Ghost for some seconds and you have a penalty of having to repair your equipment [that gets durability reduced for every Revive spent], but that is part of the that game). However that would also beg the question do you want something like that in Warframe, some Gear Durability stat that is tied to Revives? Or some other price for this feature? Otherwise what would be the point to see this in Warframe?

At any rate, this just feels like a can of Worms that would just make the game more frustrating, as it would not be adding any meaningful challenge, if all that happens is a punitive cooldown is added.
