  1. I don't think the EULA will be affected, but the privacy policy will be. It needs to mention what data is being gathered about you and what it is used for. There's lot of other things which (depending on how processing of data is currently handled) will need to be changed as well. I'm working on GDPR within my own organisation and it has a serious impact on how we do things. If DE does indeed change the privacy policy they will need to specifically inform their users about it and ask for consent. Modifying it on the website as it is now without notifying anyone is insufficient. You can't even combine the EULA and the privacy policy in one document. It cannot be bundled like in the KSP EULA. On that of that you need to be able to withdraw your consent as easily as you've given it and you should be able to ask DE to remove/obfuscate all of your personal identifiable information from their systems (this includes IP addresses and such).

  2. I've experienced a weird bug today where all of the bounties were bugged in the Plains. It didn't matter if the squad (we stayed in the same squad the entire time) left the Plains and picked up a new bounty. Caches wouldn't count towards the bounty, luring out a commander didn't work etc. None of the bounties would progress. I've saved a copy of my EE.log.

    In regular mission nodes, the objective is not always the same - some are for loot, some to clear node, some to test weapons, some focus farm, some to scan things, etc etc.  This is especially true in endless missions.

    But unless the objectives are cleared there is no way to finish the mission. In free-roam and Teralyst hunting there is no mission; you can do whatever you want like you've pointed out. This system (or the design as you call it) is inherently wrong in my opinion and that's one of the reasons I gave this feedback.

    Recruiting chat is your friend - assuming you have no friends in your clan or alliance.

    Why is this NOT a solution the to general problem? Joining random groups at all is no solution - 1/2 or more of them probably arent there for the terralyst in the first place.

    Because the general problem is the fact that you can end up in a squad where people are not doing the same. In regular mission nodes the objective is always the same for the people in the squad (not taking the occasional AFK'er or troll in account). That's why I think the Teralyst should be disconnected from free-roam.

  5. Hello everyone,

    I would like to give some feedback on the Plains of Eidolon and specifically on the Teralyst. Some background info; I'm trying to master all weapons etc. in the game and reach the highest possible mastery rank. To achieve this I need amps as well, so to get standing with the Quills I join a pub groups during nighttime in the Plains. A couple of issues;

    - You get into a group with low MR players

    This is the biggest issue. Low MR players are probably wondering what the hell is happening in a pub squad going for the Teralyst. Sometimes they try to join in on the fight and die all the time. Other times they're standing there attacking the Teralyst with regular weapons since they don't have the operator unlocked yet. It's even worse when they're the host, because most of the time they just leave the group after a certain time. This on itself it not so much a problem, but it will become a problem with the next point of feedback;

    - Host migration

    When host migration happens all lures which are being controlled seem to get stuck. There's also the possibility all other lures disappear from the map which makes it impossible to get new lures.

    - Joining in on a group which is extracting

    This happened to me a few times as well. I go into the plains and join in on a squad and they're heading for extraction. I'm not sure what triggers it, because for the rest of the game there's a mechanic in place which prevents you from joining a squad when 5 minutes have passed or when the objective has been completed. Now the Teralyst is not an objective since it's free-roam, but I shouldn't be joining in on a squad which is already extracting.

    All in all this makes it very frustrating from time to time. More than half of my attempts at joining a pub squad fail for one of the above reasons (not counting the times when the join fails entirely and I end up in my orbiter again). I know people will say "find a pre-made group" or "play with friends" etc., but it's not a solution to the general problem.

    My suggestion: Make Teralyst hunting a mission or bounty. Preferably something which is locked behind some form of rank or progression. This ensures you join in on a squad which have the same objective (killing the Teralyst).

    Nah, he was talking to someone else. Most likely the person who became the first warframe. I really do think the leaked War Within script should be on the main page.

    @(Xbox One)EternalDrk Mako You think it would be against the rules to include the information we got from the early leaked script from the War Within on the title page?

    Not sure what leaked script you are referring to, but the leaked script I saw said nothing about such things. The whole dialogue in there has nothing about Ballas.

    I always thought that DE picks up random employees, therefore having in house voicecast.

    Not for every character. I think the major characters are voiced by employees, but things like bosses, operators, syndicates etc. are hired through voices.com.

  8. Lots of voices are hired professionals from the website voices.com. When you use this search:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Avoices.com+warframe&oq=site%3Avoices.com+warframe

    You can find a lot of voices from Warframe. So far I found the guy voicing Ballas, the voice of the Red Veil syndicate dude and lots of others!

    Here's the voice for Rell for example:

  9. Hate is a big word, but I recently ran into a player who constantly spammed Cataclysm for whatever reason. It was very annoying, not only because of the sound effect but also because you're not hitting enemies anymore from time to time. For me Limbo is on the same level as min/max Octavia players who have the most annoying repetitive Mandachord song to get the most out of the abilities. Not something I want to play 20 minutes of survival with.
