  1. For 2019, I'd like to see all new content put on hold until all platforms are caught up. It's time. If you don't understand why consider this...

Imagine a set of twins running down the stairs on Christmas morning and only one of them gets a gift. The parent tells the giftless sibling,"We want X to test out the new bicycle." So until February 1st giftless twin watches their sibling riding the bicycle...

That's pretty much how updates feel like on console. Thank goodness for arbitration and my quest to use up all 4500+ relics before I die, to take my mind off of not having Fortuna yet. Huge Sad Face

  2. I try to buy new frames from the market for this reason. If it's in my power, I will never farm for another frame ever again. I will go to trade chat and undersell a bunch of stuff if necessary.

I agree also that we need a way to queue 1 minute stuff.

  3. For me, arbitration IS the reward. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm just farming for the last few weapons (or parts) for mastery and waiting for more. I like that, if the rest of the squad actually wants to stay long, I have a reason to use my specters. Also, despite the drones, I find it exciting to have to constantly be on my toes!  The problem is: the title of this thread states it -- like, hardly anyone wants to stay for extended duration. Or worse, they show up with Mesa thinking they're going to cake-walk/milk-run it with Peacemaker and end up dying within the first five minutes!

I can't imagine what rewards could be added to get players to stay longer. Perhaps, Arbitration is for players that have everything and now want to put their power builds to the test.

  4. There is always some sourfoot in region chat that brings up Destiny by saying "Destiny is better than Warframe" and we naturally tell them to go back to their pocket burner.

I used to play Destiny as much as I play Warframe. Both 1 and 2 are beautiful, the music is great, but the experience was stale. I don't really even think the two games are comparable enough, I just think one overcharges while downgrading its experience and the other seriously undercharges while constantly improving its experience. Can you guess which one is which?

The target spots should be pretty easy to see, as they're highlighted in red. I think it even flashes up something on your HUD - "target" or "enemy" - I can't recall exactly.

I'm an Eidolon newb, but I noticed those pretty early on. Thing I've found is you have to be prepared to get up close and personal to have a realistic chance of hitting them. Unless you're prepared to just sit at distance with a sniper rifle and wait for a chance. Too boring for my liking though. Also never stand still for longer than it takes to get a shot off.

I use Rhino and keep Iron Skin activated as much as possible. Also switch to Operator mode to hit the Eidolon with my amp. Then when my Operator gets knocked out I can return to a healthy frame and start over.

I know where the spots are supposed to be, but sometimes they're gray'd out when they're not supposed to be. Sometimes I lose track of whether or not I'm supposed to be in operator mode. Other times, which I did not mention before, game glitches from switching between operator and frame.

It's just a messy fight and I don't enjoy it. However, since I want to reach max mastery, I must get 20 Eidolon shards (I'm half way there) for Quills Instrument standing in order to get the Rahn prism. I figure I might as well max out Quills standing, so I don't ever have to do this again. This means I will need another 30 Eidolon shards. I will stick to do the Teralyst only for now.

  6. I agree about Ember. It's not fair, her range is cut off so fast that I just use her to do low-level sabotages and hunt for sculptures (we don't really need to do that anymore with arbitration). Maybe they could slow that timer for WoF a little bit.

Although my Valkyr is fine right now, I see absolutely no reason why she cannot be restored to her former glory. At least she had to do work to get her kills. You couldn't just stand still with her and wipe out entire maps. Anyways, my opinion yada yada yada...

  7. MR25 and still haven't touched the last two Eidolons. I hate the fight! I can barely see the spots to do damage, can tell which phase of the fight I'm in, often can't find or damage the hotspots. I just bring a max strength Chroma and stay as close as possible to the squad member that seems to know what they're doing. Speaking of which, I still have to reach max rank Quills in order to get that last Amp strike, time to pull up the Eidolon clock app...

EDIT: tipsy posting, but I think I got my point across!

  8. Those drones! I would never die if they didn't exist. They're fine up to like 50 minutes in a survival, but after that you're lucky if you can find them in all that screen pollution. Meanwhile, the enemies can shoot the living daylights out of you while you're still trying to take out a tiny flying object! It's frustrating when you are fighting an enemy and all of a sudden the enemy gets that pink glow around it. I've started combating the drones by using Bombard + Heavy Gunner + Shield Osprey+Ancient Healer specter army.

On the Draco Interception arbitration, I've decided that it's okay if I do not do the most damage or get the most kills. I go immediately to that capture point in the back with the protective wall, set up my army. I justify this by the fact that there is usually another more eager Saryn in the squad and my spores will help to weaken the enemies.

Also, the survival spawns are strange. It's either a ghost town or it's mid-day Manhattan!

Overall, it's been a rewarding experience and I finally have use for my specters! I don't know if my problem with the drones is a matter of getting 'gud' or maybe they need some tweaking. It's supposed to be difficult, but it feels almost impossible sometimes.

If I were to offer my help, would you be willing to do so? I have a bit of plat and a bunch of mods - I also run Onslaught/Hydron a lot, so we can quickly level your toys. What's your current mastery rank?

That is so kind of you! I won't be able to move over to PC any time soon unfortunately. I'm at MR 25 and I'm still farming Teralyst for that Rahn amp and ESO for the Latron V barrel. But really your kindness is amazing. Thank you!

I respectfully disagree, at least from my observations. I never touch region chat but in game everyone is so helpful and encouraging. I have had 3 instances were people were S#&$ty, and compared to Overwatch (my other love which I left in part due to toxicity) WF is full of saints.

Last night I had someone offer to walk me through Edio hunts and we did my first three. I was lost but got it by the end, he then advised me on how to prep for the next time. I did the spy sortie and queued up with the wrong frame. We failed, everyone chuckled and we redid it successfully; all 3 missions as a group. I ended the night in Kuva survival; me MR14 with 3 MR24/25 players at random. I can go to 45 minutes and and about 40 when I started struggling they carried me, hard, until I ran out of revives then they extracted at 1hr 10 so I didn't have to wait so long or abort. They even kept reviving my annoying cat!

I didn't get a single complaint or negative remark. In fact the MR25 Limbo on our team took his time to give me some excellent advice and I got 17k kuva out of it.

I just don't see the negativity in my games.

Like I said, every once in a while I run into a good group. I'm not saying PS4 community is 100% toxic, I am however suggesting that we need to pull it together a bit. I've never so many people just dying to say something negative to a total stranger for absolutely no real reason. Some of it is sexism and I can't go back to 2008 (not that I should have to) to change my PSN ID, plus this my trophy account as well. I'm always getting some #$&(% typing in the squad chat, Are you a girl? and they get mad when I don't answer them, like I've violated their civil right to know my business!

Long and short of it: PS4 community needs to get 'gud' and represent! I'll do my best, I'm a bit of a hermit, but I will never go out of my way to mess up another player's experience (unless provoked) and I want new players to feel welcome.

The only times I've seen people who want me to stand back and let them do the playing, are usually Hydroid on a farm run, which makes sense, and I'll often do it, (but they kill soooooooo sloooooooowly 😧 ). Oh and one truly toxic-af Nidus player who couldn't build his stacks, because he sucked harder than everyone else he was accusing of being the problem.

You don't how many times I wanted to make this thread: PSA All Hydroid Players - Others Do Not Exist to Serve You!

    and

PSA All Nidus Players - My Galatine and My Sarah (EDIT: Saryn) Flips Off Your Second Ability!

I literally will stand around a Nidus in survival for the first 5-10 minutes, let him kill all the enemies to get his stacks, even provide energy and you know how most of them thank me? They continue to follow me around and use their second ability to TRY to keep me from getting kills. My Galatine don't got no time for that mess!

  12. PS4 is a nightmare and I think it's because of the age group. Every once in a while I run into a nice group of peeps, but for the most part, it's always some insane douches that think that everyone got on Warframe to watch them play. I have powerful frames and weapons with powerful builds, but I know that there's a time and place to go overboard with it. I would like to move over to PC, but starting over is tedious.

  13. I have to ask my sister what is going on in the world. I rarely bother to look at the news. If I was rich, I'd probably never leave my home, everywhere is just more strip malls, fast food joints, people wanting you to buy something. Humans are dumb as... We, relatively speaking, only live like 15 nanoseconds when you consider the currently accepted age of the Cosmos, yet we waste nearly 95% of it trying to make money. You gotta' have something that brightens up your day whether it be football, pilates, or Warframe. I just so happen to choose Warframe with a healthy dose of Netflix and Russian language learning!

Why do you ask about Akkad if you are fully aware the problem was with the players? Curious....

The enemy spawn was changed and possibly even decreased. Now they only seem to come, at least in number, from the two narrow corridors and a few come from the back. They used to come from all entrances.

Everyone spawn camps the drop points for the infested..so now Akkad is boring as snot....I just farm Senchura for a run on 5 to 5 for credits because I loathe the index...and you can also Netflix or Youtube like a boss on Senchura...Side note it takes about 4 runs to wave 25 to usually level a Warframe to max if you need to, making Senchura a good spot for that early morning solo....

I miss Sechura. I remember when I first started Warframe, I solo'd it and each time was an adventure and a close call! Thanks for this, I will start going there.

just tell them that they can release enemies early by using the skill again.

I think their parents added too much vinegar to the solution and as for my cornflakes...they should learn to use the Port-O-Potty.  It's weird, I find a group that has 2 other players that understand that with a spova, there's no need to stand in the little corridors, there will be enough for everyone because monsters run faster.

Wait, how is fortuna ruined for you? You know you don't need these drops to get into fortuna, yeah?

I understand where you're coming from; it does seem kind of childish of me, but hear me out please:

Imagine having all the different quests and experiences ruined for you for, sometimes, a whole two-month period before your platform even receives them. I'm grateful to the PC community for not spoiling War Within. You guys really kept a tight lid on things with that one. However, are the devs asking us console folks to avoid the forums, twitch, youtube, and perhaps, the internet until they release new content on our platforms? I wanted to hang with you guys and discuss what was up with the Lotus  and how cool Sacrifice was, but in "real time". Not weeks or months after it's boring old news to PC community.

Now, take a look at this Twitch drop situation. While it doesn't seem like there's any exclusive rewards, don't you think console folks want some of the goodies, too?

I'm not all salty like "omg DE sucks cause I want mah update now", rather it's more like "come on, synch us so that we can be a unified community." Although I could legitimately ask: What other devs do this sort of thing? Anyways, I feel like Rudolph before that one foggy Christmas Eve, I can't join in any reindeer games. I'm saying I want to enjoy new Warframe content WITH you PC folks. My tears...

  18. I was watching Tactical Potato (because he's the coolest), but I kept getting jealous and salty, because now Fortuna is 50% ruined for me. Yet...he was doing this crazy 4-star alert(?) thing and there was so much Nullifier bubble spam and it just looked freaking fun! I want it! I want it now! Anyways, I watched two hours and got one reward (glyph display). I don't really care about the rewards, I just wanted to be a part of the "newness" of it all and I love Potato because I wouldn't even be playing this game if it weren't for his beginner tutorials.

Good luck with matchmaking then. you can’t even find a team when there’s a single node, now you want to have different sessions for each node? Doubt it’ll happen

Good observation. Instead, DE can do it like GTA matches, when you join there could be some indicator of what difficulty level the host has chosen.

All I'm saying is right now, and personally for me, the only way to see the amazing color show that the Infested become around 2 hours into survival is for me to go in with my Inaros or Nidus OR with my super tank Nekros (he does start getting one shot at that point if I'm not careful). I used to be able to do this with Valkyr. However, the real problem is that after a while only your melee weapon (with good status and elementals, ofc) is doing real damage, eventually your wrist (console problems?) will suffer. I will no longer do extended solo runs for this reason. So I'd like to cut out the long wait and just start out with the enemies raging!

I love arbitrations, but those enemy armor sentinels make melee fun nearly impossible, I would have to constantly ground slam, slide massacre, etc., I love the feeling of wacking and slashing the living daylights out of enemies. I may have to give in and add Primed Reach to my Galatine, which is going to kill my current ruthless ninja build. So basically, I need a mission like arbitration but without those enemy armor sentinels.

  20. I think you're maybe missing the bigger picture: the Warframe experience. It is only fitting that each faction gets a "world." I'd also argue that there should be an open world for the "water" planets, an open extension to the Derelict and the Void. These will all create more variety overall for Warframe. They should have been part of the foundation (like a plain cake) and content (frostings, icings, toppings, etc.) can be endlessly derived from them.
