  1. here's my proposed stats:

    • higher crit
      • 30% base crit chance
      • 3x base crit multiplier
    • special gimmick: status on crit
      • each crit has a 15% chance of applying forced magnetic status
      • each crit has 15% chance of applying forced corrosive status
      • each crit has 30% chance of applying forced slash status
      • these are independent of weapon's actual damage types
    • possible increase in stats regarding how fast it can shoot
      • larger magazine
      • faster fire rate
      • faster reload
    • slightly higher status chance
      • 35% at base
    • same total damage but with a more even distribution
      • 20 puncture damage
      • 15 impact damage
      • 10 slash damage
    • lower accuracy
      • approximately 8

Not sure if anyone else has said this, but it’s likely that the “modern era” and even “prime era” frames don’t have actual humans inside them. Instead it’s possible that the Infestation was used to clone the original templates used to create those frames

yes, that has been said, and it does make sense.

Primed Heated Charge would be optimal if you can slot it. Otherwise, a 90% elemental mod would be in your interest. Pandero already has a one second reload, so reload mods would not be ideal. Primed Slip Magazine is not a good mod and you should not spend the Endo on it unless you max it for your codex. 🙂

in that case, I think I'll go with primed quick draw. the reload will be practically instant!

  4. so here's the build:

    • top row, all all madurai polarities:
      • barrel diffusion
      • lethal torrent
      • primed pistol gambit
      • primed target cracker
    • 5th slot, madurai polarity, horrenet strike
    • 6th and 7th slot, no polarity, 60% elemental mods
    • last slot, naramon polarity
      • option one: primed slip magazine for longer fan the hammer. I worry that most of my shots won't land if I do this.
      • option two: primed quickdraw for obscenely high sustain. this is the option I'm leaning into.
      • I only have enough endo to level one of these mods.

here is an image of my polarities now that I finally put the very last forma on it:

    W2XZWPH.jpg

I will fill in the rest of the mods once it is leveled. I will check this post before I do.

TBH, Nezha is in a weird spot.
He's not a tank (weaker Iron Skin, no way to refresh while active / boost it),
he's not a nuker (unless maybe if you build specifically for Divine Spears spam, hurting his other abilities),
he's not support (Safeguard is an Augment, Fire Walker is too narrow for constant proc immunity)
or a healer (the AoE heal on Blazing Chakram is just pitiful, what is up with DE and healing ranges, seriously).

    He's just Nezha.

    *shrug*

he's also Megan's favorite frame, for some reason.

Mostly Nezha can help you finish the star chart. With the use of the 3rd ability, it will be easy. Build with strength and armor mods to maximize the 3rd ability. The rest of the skill for me are meh.

TFW you've finished The Sacrifice and are already doing sorties by the time you build him.

Step 1 : Put Nezha in the bin

Step 2 : Pick any other Warframe

    Step 3 : ???

    Step 4 : Enjoy

    (That's a joke, Nezha-users, don't get millenially offended plz)

honestly, if no one can actually tell me how to utilize him, I'll just let him collect dust, potatoless and formaless.

Oh boy you went and picked one of those popular frames 🤣

I didn't know what public opinion about this frame was. I was literally just like "what random frame can I build to help fill out my roster and increase my mastery?" and the answer just so happened to be Nezha and Wukong. I thought Megan's endorsement meant something!

don't know what's wrong with nezha.. his single abilities may be lower than other.. but it's the combination...

you can jump into a fight, pin your enemies down, hit them hard with your weapon and jump or teleport out... nezha right modded is insane fast and thanks to his halo he can take lot of damage...

it's just a question of playstyle... yeah he is no tank, but he isn't designed to be a tank. this frame is for speed, not for be the best group killer like ember or someone like that.  it's just fun to play nezha.

there was that one couple who played a Nyx and Nezha combo because of how versatile it was. except those are players who main the same frame for every type of mission.

I generally run him with low strenght and high range, max efficiency and moderate duration. I use him as a kiter, always moving around fast. I generally complement him with AoE guns, my current setup is Scourge and Hikou Prime with Concealed Explosives.

He's got some good CC via Firewalker's fire proc and Divine Spears, a lot of mobility, and his 3 is just enough to absorb the few hits you should be taking even at higher levels.

Do not make the mistake of assuming Warding Halo is like Iron Skin. It's too weak for that. Think of it as a dodge enabler, it keeps you mobike and with high range it staggers enemies close to you so you can keep moving around and take less fire (as opposed to tanking more).

Firewalker's augment is nice for when you need some burst damage.

okay, but... what role can he play that other frames can't play better? dang jack of all trades frames!

also, this "high mobility" you speak of is more of a nuisance than anything TBH.

Wait for a skirt skin :3

I wonder what weapon skin it will come with this time. I honestly just bought the Oberon deluxe because the weapon skins keep my loadout on a need to know basis. I don't want players to just instantly know what specific weapon I'm using. sadly, thanks to map icons, I can't also stop other from knowing whether or not I'm using a prime. I mostly just want an assault rifle skin so my braton prime and soma prime look like generic assault rifles.

Primed Target Cracker would greatly improve your build, but I don't really see any other stand-out improvements to be made.

I need to wait until baro happens to bring it.

stunning speed is useless remove and replace

I figured it would be useful on the pandero, since how fast it can fire is tied to reload speed. what should I use as my madurai mod istead?

  7. here's my play test of the pandero:

click spoiler to see my impressions of the weapon

    Spoiler

It really packs a punch. The Lex series used to be my sidearm of choice. Recently, I built the Pandero, and as soon as I tried it, I decided it will be my new sidearm of choice. it has better fire rate and reload speed; although it could have done without the nerf to status chance it got since release.

I normally hate both alt fires and burst fires, but "the fan the hammer" mode... it somehow just works.

of course, when I say "side arm," I mean as a backup when using your primary slot and quick melee as your main weaponry. as amazing as the Pandero is, it could never measure up to a weapon like the akstiletto series; the prime version of which I'm still seeking. the only issue is a dual SMG will require pistol ammo mutation, which is counter productive when you're trying to gather rifle, sniper, shotgun, or bow ammo so you can switch back to your weapon that's run out of ammo.

now, I'm thinking about copying all 7 of the madurai mods from my lex word for word, but switching out the naramon mod for a different naramon mod; since anemic agility, which I used on the lex prime, is not of much use here. here's the build I'm thinking of using: ThIUZd1.jpg

    what are your thoughts?

Building a frame in Warframe's "present time" doesn't involve us tossing a body into the Helminth chair. Instead, Helminth grows the "core" of the frame from scratch, using biomatter found in the infirmary. The "core" is pure Helminth Infestation, mimicking the basic structure of a human, including the central nervous system. Then, the tech gizmos are grafted on top of these "cores" (neuroptics, systems, chassis, the stuff that defines what the frame will be [ie a Mag or a Mesa or a Mirage])

When idle, Helminth just "tends to the garden", caultivating the biomatter in there for future use.

As for our Umbra: we used the same construction method I described above, but remember that we took scans of the remains of the original? Our Umbra probably inherited the memories of the original through the blueprint Ordis reconstructed.

that's probably why we need so many Neurodes, Neural Sensors, Nano Spores, and Plastids. all of these provide biomaterial, after all.

At least, this is how I currently see it.

Am I disgusted with the Orokin? Yes, thoroughly, especially with those that made this possible back in the Orokin Era. Ballas is a great villain (please DE, don't kill him off ^^).

Am I disgusted with myself? No. We are out there, keeping a balance, righting wrongs, giving the warframes a new purpose.

Do I treat Umbra differently? Yes, because of the inherited memories.

Do I treat other frames differently? No. As far as I can tell, going by the theory above, the frames we build have basic, vestigial minds at best, with no memories, just as "Vitruvian Ordis" said (which would explain how the frame was able to move without us back in The Second Dream).

you make some good points, I feel better.

  9. akpandero prime

    that is all.

click spoiler to see what I think should be changed on the primed version of the the pandero.

    Spoiler
    • higher status chance: 20%
    • lower crit chance: 25%
    • higher crit multiplier: 3x
    • faster reload and larger clip
    • exact same base damage
    • exact same fire rate

  10. excalibur's theme is the sword, so why not make all his abilities fit that theme?

    • Slash Dash and Radial Javelin should scale off the mods on Exalted Blade
    • Slash Dash and Radial Javelin should scale off of finishers
    • if a mod can go on weapons that interact with Excalibur's passive, it should also be able to go on Exalted Blade
      • this would include mods specific to a class of weapons
        • for example, if a mod is mod specific to the sword class, it would be included
      • this would not include mods specific to an individual of weapon
        • for example, it would not include Bright Purity, or Justice Blades
      • this would not include mods specific to weapons that don't interact with Excalibur's passive
        • for example, it would not include Covert Lethality, since daggers do not effect Excalibur's passive

hmm i tend not to think about it since

    • 1: grineer are clones so your killing the same person over and over
    • 2: corpus if i remember is genetic breeding and debt enslavement you can never get out of
    • 3: infested basically mercy killing

in the end its just a pile of meat that is incapable of thought, if its capable of though kill it and make it a dumpling, being depressed since your enslaved to a board of con artist who nickle and dime you worse then EA and is probably wanting to die

I think you read the intro and conclusion to my post, and completely ignored the body paragraph. it's hidden for spoiler reasons; you have to click it to read it.

  12. I have killed hundreds of thousands of enemies. that includes grineer and their machines, corpus and their robots, infested, and sentients. I have plundered their bodies for resources. none of this made me feel guilty; they were all deserving of death.

    Spoiler

however, finding out that the warframes were people who were forcibly infested fills me with guilt. in this case, I feel like I am desecrating the bodies of the innocent by simply using a frame for any purpose.

now I am filled with disgust at all I am doing, and all that I have done.

  13. I want to be able to mod my loadout (see spoiler) for corrosive + fire, cast toxic lash, and get corrosive + gas

    Spoiler
    • my loadout is called "gas the world"
    • it includes
      • saryn
      • ignis
      • atomas
      • twin basolk
    • currently modded for pure gas damage on all weapons
      • if this change goes through, I will mod them for corrosive + fire
      • if this change goes through, I will be able to deal pure elemental corrosive + gas damage using this loadout + toxic lash
      • I specifically want this loadout to deal most damage via gas procs, enhanced by stripping armor
        • currently, spores are how I strip said armor

of course, not everyone wants this, so here are some possible solutions:

    • arsenal toggle: in the abilities tab, add a dropdown menu with the following options
      • do not combine toxin damage with elements already on weapon
      • combine toxin damage with any uncombined elements on weapon
      • toxin damage acts like a mod and combines as such (I.E similar to Flash Accelerant)
    • hold button option: if the player holds 3 for the entire duration of the toxic lash cast animation, Saryn does another animation of the same length, and the toxin damage is combined with any uncombined elements
    • button combo option: holding 3 down and pressing another button changes the damage type added
      • holding 3 and pressing 1 removes electric damage from all weapons, and adds corrosive damage instead
      • holding 3 and pressing 2 removes heat damage from all weapons, and adds gas damage instead
      • holding 3 and pressing 4 removes cold damage from all weapons, and adds viral damage instead
      • weapons might not have any damage type that needs to be removed, but if they do, that damage gets absorbed into the newly added damage
      • on console, players will hold the toxin lash button with their right thumb, and press a D-pad button that corresponds to the other ability with their left thumb

sidenote: please also bring back the ability for spores to spread toxin procs. that was a really good ability, and did not need to be removed.

  14. there should  be 4 speech volume sliders:

    • transmissions should include transmissions from any NPC, whether it's ordis, lotus, a quest giver, or even enemy leaders' transmissions (see spoiler)
    • the remaining speech should be divided into the following categories:
      • enemy speech (E.G enemy grunts while dying)
      • ally speech (E.G Maroo)
      • cutscene speech (see spoiler)
    Spoiler
    • Hunhow and Tyl Regor's speech in Natah should count as a transmissions
    • Margulis and Ballis' voice in Second Dream should count as cutscene speech

  15. please add a codax for people signed into the website or nexus app. then, allow people to stream audio recaps of any quests they have completed from this codax.

the audio recap should include the following:

    • audio transmissions from NPCs
      • in mission narrative audio transmissions
      • between mission narrative audio transmissions
      • all narrative transmissions from quest givers, enemies, etc
      • only excludes repeating transmissions, such as quest givers pointing out life support
    • in-mission scripted audio
      • see spoiler
      • spoiler uses examples from War Within and it's prerequisite quests
    Spoiler

    examples includes

    • environmental narrative audio files, such as Margulis and Balis' conversations in Second Dream
    • environment triggered narrative audio files, such as Hunhow's message at the end of Stolen Dreams
    • audio files for in-game cinematics, such as The Operator and Teshin conversations in War Within
    • narrative choices, such as choosing the operator's back story or the queen's fate in War Within

this will help players recap on the story so far for future quests

note: this audio recap option should include all quests eventually.
