  1. Duviri content forced upon us now ?

    Been fed up and disgusted with duviri after a few weeks with the constant bugs, the fact ONE guy can make the whole team lose hours of effort with ZERO reward saved, the fact it is even more intensive on the cpu/gpu than any other area of warframe, the fact the ressource gathering is incredibly bad and slow, and yet, I loved the story and the concept.

    But a lot of people will take it very badly to be forced to do duviri for those nightwaves...

    either we ignore them and lose points for rewards, or we do it and grow even more disgusted and burned out on that grindfest that take ages and is badly balanced and still buggy (buggy pony and buggy worm, and buggy warframe selection when you were a good customer and have multiples of the same one and can't select the one with umbra polarities...)

    The difference with the other things ? Well, you can do airglide kills anywhere, headshot kills anywhere, finishers anywhere, kill with X-Y-Z elements anywhere, kill X eximus anywhere, but those new ones definitely require to play DUVIRI, which is clunky and require too much of a preparation to enjoy... and now, people will get matched with people that are not actually there for DUVIRI, but just a shawzin solo or a komi game... and one afk teammate or more per game, they get fed up too, they leave, and have to possibly RESELECT another loadout, etc, only to risk getting another "just here for NW shawzin act" player in the next one...

    I'd definitely NOT recommand the nightwaves if Duviri is part of it...

    That thread had been opened on 2020-06-11, and on the same day the fix had been implemented and rolled out:

    Hopefully that fix can be applied again.

    Side note on that "Missing OS update" part : I, like many others it seems, have only a very few updates "missing" for my OS, and those are all bound to µ$oft """telemetry""" shenanigans, those non-critical and non-mandatory ones (and tbh, NON-recommended since they are known to be infringing on user's privacy rights). If it is indeed what I think it is, I'd recommend the Team at [DE] to not use those "new" methods of acquiring the user's version of DirectX (asking the "telemetry" what is the DirectX version), but instead keep to the old ways ( asking directly the system/DirectX) when it is possible... no doubt in the more recent OSes from µ$oft, that "telemetry" part has been made integral to the OS from the start, in spite of various international privacy laws, so it cannot be "removed" or  even "not added" by consumer's choice. Doing that check the "new way", when the "old way" is available, only gives some fake legitimacy to that "telemetry" thing.

    For those wondering, "Telemetry" is the ....Politically Correct.... term for "spyware from big corporations".

    Looks like a known error crept in again - the launcher wrongly detects DX10, while the game is set to use DX11 for .... a long time. The complete error message is

    Opening the settings in this dialog it says very clearly "Graphics API DirectX 11", and of course yesterday the game did run flawlessly.

    Exactly the same, DXDIAG clearly indicates that I've got DX11 installed, I'm on a Geforce GTX 980 (still performing well, up to yesterday, partly thanks to your optimizations).

    Worst part is that only the launcher updated, to block me from even doing the  (4gb ?) update, so please look at it asap and issue a new launcher version without that bug, as it can take quite a while to download, and many people might miss the daily nightwaves and other missions because of this.

    Also, I'm not sure, given the current context in the "GPU world", that saying "We hope you can upgrade your graphics card soon!" can be interpreted positively by your customers...

    For those rare blissfully unaware, the GPU costs have skyrocketed for various reasons, and now even the most basic and nearly end-of-life cards can be expensive or unavailable, depending on your luck and location.

    Some blame "component shortage" (the manufacturers themselves, but then they do nothing to counter this lack ?),
    some blame the "cryptobros" (and some claim they're free to do so - and burn by themselves the energy equivalent of a country like Thailand : 
    https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption - since they "bought" the cards , but why would manufacturers sell to known "industrial miners" high volumes of cards with big discounts that not even the major retailers can get, when they KNOW they can sell these cards about as fast on full retail price due to demand, if not to create scarcity ?),
    some remind everyone that during this time, the announced "Manufacturer's Recommended Retail Prices" were never followed by retailers or even "brands" themselves :  one type of card was supposed to cost $599 (MRRP), the brands (asus, gigabyte, msi, gainward, etc) sell it around $750-$780, the online websites put it at even higher prices, to get their margin, the people pre-order it, and wait....wait....wait... and never get their cards, because meanwhile, the prices went UP, and instead of honoring their commands, they prefer to sell the latest obtained cards at the new prices, and take new preorders, while not fulfilling the ones already made months ago by loyal customers, and only offer them to "refund" (lose your card at 1st price you paid for ages ago) or sometime even try to just "voucher" it (lose your card AND have to still spend that "coupon" into their shop in a limited time or you lose everything) depending on local consumers protection laws...
    Some blame the scalpers (people who buy large quantities of something to cause scarcity, then are the sole purveyors of that something)  but then again, if they are left with that something unsold, because the manufacturers can keep supplying over and over, then they make no profit (Grofit?) and are just wasting everyone's time, and usable resources.

    It's probably somewhere in the middle of all that, mostly "greed" from every part, from the manufacturer using this to raise the prices, to the miner using money/connections to get advantageous deals and make more virtual money, to brands riding the bandwagon and going "we might as well sell at higher prices, since we're not sure to have cards to sell next month due to 'shortage' ", to retail shops (online or IRL) wanting to sell more and more without fullfilling previous preorders, because that would be less profitable, to scalpers thinking "hey, i'm gonna watch these shops for available cards 24/7 and get it before anyone else, then I'll make a profit reselling it, then do it again and again until I'm a billionaire"

    Now you can picture them all as Vay Hek : "Why are these fools still buying MY cards ?"

    Maybe someday we'll get some sort of Benevolent Billionaire, like an IRL "Tony Stark", starting his own graphics card company to counter this, preferably on Earth, not Mars...

    Meanwhile, Gamers may have failing graphics cards, and might be unable to replace, the "progression" of the currently in-use hardware is somewhat halted, meaning Developpers like DE cannot update their games like they would/should, else they abandon a significant part of their profit (if you can't play the game anymore, they lose you as a customer, and if you CAN buy a new card, that's as much money you won't have available to spend elsewhere, including on DE's offers).

    I might be an idealist thinking that, but MAYBE Developpers should start "Unionizing" to lobby nVidia/AMD, as a whole, in an effort to let them know not to kill the "gamers" market-share. If no one uses the latest "*TX" technology in their games, then nVidia/AMD have pretty much nothing to show off anyway, except visual demos, and if it's known to the mass that the developpers WON'T risk their market shares by including something that WILL cleave at their customers bases, then people will spend more "serenely" on both current games and current gen hardware (staying with friends and community, where nearly no one has the "next-gen hardware") instead of "always the next-gen", since nVidia/AMD will be directly responsible for the "lack of next-gen equipped gamers" (either because of unavailability, or pricing, or both).

    Just to remind you that MOBILE PHONE games made more profits than PC or consoles, for a while now, in spite of overall inferior graphics, designs, gameplay, and pretty much everything else. So, it's NOT the "next technology" that allow to make money in games.
    Bringing RTX to Warframe would not make it earn more money, it MIGHT appeal to some high-end gamers that could discover it and maybe some of them would be "whales" (those that buy large quantities of premium currencies because they have a lot of $$$ to spend) but the effort/reward ratio of this being implemented by DE in Warframe would most probably NOT turn a profit given the current "demographics" of hardwares used by  gamers in general, much even less considering current hardwares of warframe players. As for the prospective "next-gen gamers" population, by the time Warframe gets RTX, it will be either "one of a few early games in a world with few players able to use it" OR "one of a ton of games already having it in a world with maybe a bit more people able to use it" .

    As it is right now, it looks like the disparity between gamers will grow more and more, and it's grim for both developpers and gamers.

  4. Same here, and it's actually also "visible" in the "MODS" part of the end-of-mission reward screen. there is a line under which no render is done, as expanding the top mod by hovering above it shows the very bottom of it being clipped too.

    Did you guys happen to update your Video Drivers recently ? I didn't have this bug after the latest patch, yet in-between I did update to the last nVidia drivers. This might help pinpoint the origin of this particular bug.

    Her 1 can be tapped for a jump or held for a "bloody hadoken" (side note : she could use some TCL on that tapped jump, so it chains a little more flawlessly, kind of like Rhino's charge, with a 1x/2x/4x effect but instead of cost reduction, add more of a damage buff on chained hits, because "Oh, look, this Heavy lvl 300 elite eximus special unit is taking 10% dmg per hit, that amount to Hundreds of thousands damage points ! Surely, she would be able to instantly rip apart anything under lvl 30 with that, right ?"...)

    Her 2 can be tapped on enemies to turn them to an altar, or tapped on an altar to release that particular one

    Her 4 can be tapped or held depending on the desired range/angle on her "make-em-bleedy-twirly-claws-fingers-attack"

     

    Yet, her 3 can only be tapped for a Health to Energy conversion.

    So, How about adding a held command on this one, which would specifically Holster the melee weapon(s), and at the price of half your max HP, just like the hp-energy conversion, would allow her to pop out the claws ? (Do it again to go back to regular melee)

    Why should it hurt ? Well, it empowers the claws for melee (literally, her passive, just from that, would grant her 50% more dmg)

    It would require minor tweaking of her arsenal screen, to show the claws at the same time as the regular melee, just like all the exalted weapon frames out there, and it would solve the "you need melee-conditions" problems quoted numerous times in this thread.

  6. To the Dedicated Chroma players out there, I'll share a little tip about something you might have forgotten (or ignored since) to do self-damage

    Castanas... (happens in Sancti flavor too !)

    Get a riven for those, roll til you get a critical chance malus and 3 bonus stats, which will obviously negate the whole thing, being above 100% in malus.

    even a critchance malus with 2 stats riven has above 50% chances to be above 100% critchance reduction.

    This means the crit will never occur, no surprise damage, all you got left to do is fine-tune the damage till it's the perfect match for your chroma, and you can kickstart your buff from nothing to max in an instant...

    Well, paracesis IS faster than Zenistar, and I guess hitting multiple enemies in the same swing count as more combo points...

Played a sortie earlier, popped out Garuda because, why not murder senselessly a ton of mobs with gore AND style... played with her claws, as all true Garudas do, and even looking directly on an enemy (single one in my corridor), I still got hit by every shot at 100% dmg, while in melee mode... not even a shred of parrying animation, just plain, whole-grain damage to the face, who also went through Quick Thinking... Disappointing. And definitely felt like a bug.

    Of course, I knew guardian derision was off-limits already, with the huge nerf it took when the block key was removed, because things aren't the same anymore on Baruuk either (who also lost his inward pull slam attack, and got weird stance/UI bugs when starting/stopping his 4 from other weapons than "desert winds"), Inaros got a new augment for melee oriented builds, and at the same time the melee got nerfed... Having 6K HP doesn't mean you should lose them so easily by not parrying when it should have been possible...

    I hope the DevTeam can fix those problems and find a way to get the block key back, and since they explicitely asked people for bug report and feedback : 

    A good thing would be a mix of previous and current blocking :

    Look at an enemy, you parry its damage "perfectly"(or let's say "to the best of your ability"), press the block button, and you parry other things too, still front-wise like it was, with only the block efficiency of the weapon, WHILE still keeping the initial target as your main parry focus (even if you move your aim around). Thus, deflecting part of the damage when rushing through a corridor, but keeping your attention on a specific high-damage target which you'll still have a "Lock-on" parry mechanism onto, for as long as it is still actually in your screen and you haven't released the block key.

    This could improve the parry mechanics by giving more "focused parry" dmg reduction stat% on those lighter but faster weapons, opposing the "heavier and wider" weapons which would be best for generic blocking (with the block key) (or the whichever way, as long as the "meta" isn't "get the max range, max maiming strike, max everything heavy weapon, because small weapon are crap anyway" )

    Mods like parry could improve the global parry and/or focus parry stats of weapon, and whenever you attain 100% on focused parry, you actually take no damage from your "parry target", even if the projectile was supposed to do something else (rocket explosion, Nox's goo, etc) as it was handled "masterfully" ("in-flight" disarm of the trigger mechanism, redirecting the projectile or whatever...), giving an incentive for players to seek out other mods on melee than just "pure dmg"

    Also, some players actually liked "electromagnetic shielding" and "guardian derision",it's a shame you can't trigger them at will anymore.

This , exactly, it was already a grindfest (the BAD kind of grind) and now the GOOD part of grind is nerfed, you can't even have style while riding since you end up on the ground for any reason, archwing is still faster, and now the only thing left to make enough points to actually use the multipliers from well timed tricks, and manage to get a "3000" is gone.... this is insanity.

  11. This performance issue is affecting the whole game since that major update. At random, frames (aka Images) take more time to render (you can actually see the render time per frame in the bottom left corner when you tick it in the options, and my Geforce overlay is telling me the same...) and the worst part, as no one really cares as long as fps are still way above acceptable, is that the mouse movement are sluggish, sometime even completely frozen for dozens of frames, meaning parts of your movement aren't registered.

    When this happen, even if you're doing a perfect circle on your mousepad, you'll end up with a weird shape instead... which means, for a game where there is aiming/movement involved... it's actually a pretty bad bug.

    This sort of bug happened before multiple times, last one I remember was during the eidolon plains period, and everytime it got fixed, just that sometime it took quite a while before the fix came.

    Fear not, nothing the US can do could directly impact the game... That is, unless some powerful people decide to retaliate blindly without checking what belong to them 1st. (and as shown above, a basic google search is enough, those powerful people clearly know how to invest, I'd think they would know how to google things)

  13. Quick Few bugs&feedback : 

    -Visual clipping on the operator (I use Ceno outfit except for the torso I use the Vahd one, and the lower part that comes with the vest are stuck under the belt and poking through the pants really weirdly)

    -Some options seems to be auto-overridden, like the screenshake option, which I turned OFF, and which seems to be reactivated in game for random reasons, and still showing OFF in the option while the effect is still there. It requires turning it on again in the options, saving, going back in the options, and turning it OFF again, and saving again. Now some people won't mind, but a lot of people cannot stand those screenshakes as it induce motion sickness (cue conflict) and headaches quite easily (and warframe has those powerful and FAST shakes going in opposite directions multiple times, which make it so much worse than just a slow "bob" or "sway", like when in most video games, your character, let's say, lands from a little too high jump or wince from the shockwave of a relatively distant explosion : one fast movement, followed by a slow, ample one, to get back to the normal view angles)

    This seems to happen whenever you encounter a scripted sequence using the screenshakes (talking to simaris, you simply exit his room and go back toward the lift, to have your screen shake wildly for no reason... ; you enter a lua mission, and there is this "moonquake" thing going on in the 1st tile, etc), and it's getting really tiedous to have to "escape -option-display(or w/e menu this is)-screenshake ON-confirm-wait-option-display again-screenshake OFF-confirm-wait-escape-continue the mission" on those missions.

    Also, there is no need to put it in absolutely everything we do, like the double jump, does double jumping makes my warframe actually headbang like a spastic ? My guess is we could do without it, but if some people want it, good for them, just make sure it is optionnal, which means, no resetting it back to ON on every random occasion.

    and since we're going back toward the halloween period of the year, the same problem arise (or at least used to; tell me if it's been corrected already) with the FORCED ON depth and motion blurs, in those foggy missions. if we could do without the headaches this year, that'd great for warframe players.

    -Concerning the Arbitrations : sure makes it look like "endgame" and risky, yet, at some point we simply get oneshot by unknown random things, (like, a 299% power mirage prime with the shadow eclipse thingy, hidden between crates and a wall, litterally no angle from any enemy toward her, and still dying instantly while having full health, the 95% dmg reduction, (making the effective hp about 10Kish+) AND oberon's phoenix renewal available.

    Feedback about Arbitrations :

    Tense gamemode, Yay (still hord shooter though, but definitely has this endgame feeling).

    There is the problem of having Ice eximus nullifiers combining both the ice shield at such high lvl AND the nullifier bubble, WHILE being protected by arbiter's drones, I litteraly went against 2 of those exi-nullifier, one on each side of a corridor, and both had like 2 drones each. Death. Cold, Unavoidable, Meaningless DEATH.

    With the dozens of enemies packing behind those exi-nuls, it would already be a challenge, but those drones with "smaller than their own visual"-hitboxes, unreliable movement, especially when you're not the host, that grant them about 50% evasion just from the recoil or spread of the weapons, while still being bullet sponges... no wonder i've not made a single game without at least one player going ignis/ignis wraith... (which is something DE doesn't want right ?, no "meta" weapon, right ?).

    Just to remember, those drones actually protect multiple enemies COMPLETELY from harm, not just giving them power resistance or damage reduction, it cuts off any warframe power effect on them, status effects, and prevent any hp/shield loss. If we want to encourage precise aiming/counterplay, then maybe it SHOULDN'T stay that powerful at all time, either by exhausting a self renewing ressource (the more enemies covered, the faster it would phase out and would need to recharge, even if it takes only a handful of seconds to do so), or the fact that a drone can only grant a certain amount of immunity at one time, and beyond that, the damage resistance is shared between the various targets (like, if it has 300% to spare, when a 4rth enemy get covered by it, each enemy within has a 75% dmg reduction, and it could have a base value not counted in those 300% to offset this reduction, while the drone would need a few seconds to redirect available "coverage" from a dead enemy toward the one's that are still alive).

    Feels a little cheated on when those insteadeath or "ultra hords of arbitorized exi-nuls"-encounters happen. Maybe having a half duration bleedout which cannot be buffed by mods or skills(oberon's renewal) or revived by sentinels, would even the thing out with those irksome encounters... a Team playing CO-OP shouldn't have to lose because of because you randomly rolled a one. If you went 300 meters away from your team to die in a far corner of the map, then it IS your fault, and should teach you something about teamplay. But losing because the powercreep is making such huge steps on the mobs side, while being a teamplayer, doesn't feel right at all.

    P.S. : Zalgoing the URL, really ? that wouldn't make it more difficult for people to find the thread by using the search function, by any chance ?

  14. I, as many players do, usually turn off the screen shake option because of the pain those unwanted movements are for my eyes (same for the blur/DoF, which is equally or more headache inducing)

    As of 23.4.2, it seems the option turn itself on again when playing Zephyr Prime (maybe also on zephyr and other frames) yet the option panels shows the corresponding tick box as "off".

    The only way to disable it again is to tick the box ("on"), confirm, then go back into the option menu and then untick it ("off").

    I noticed this on plains of eidolon, while playing zephyr prime (you know, for her mobility), and after only a pair of tailwinds, I had to stop and wondered why it was so hard to bear with the skill, after a few seconds I noticed a very fast, violent "screen shake", happening on every tailwind and had to check the options... box was unticked, and I had to tick it back ON then confirm then OFF then confirm again, for it to stop shaking so wildly.

    It seems every time you enter a mission you have to force it back OFF again, which is, as you can guess, ..... irksome.

    Also, Considering halloween is getting nearer, and Warframe has this new particle system since discarding PhysX, Could you please use this opportunity to NOT have the motion blur/DoF FORCEFULLY activated by those halloween event missions anymore ? I know you want to make it "SCAAAAARY", but there is a difference between "scary" and "painful" and every year it seems someone forgot that little fact.

    (following critics are for the accessibility purpose, as it SHOULD be in this topic, nonetheless, many of the above poster raised valid concerns over the FUNCTIONALITY losses)

    What I see from those screenshot is typically what we (colorblind) DON'T want to see.

    either :

    -washed out dark ambiance where you have to struggle to simply be able to SEE anything (remember, I could boost the gamma in the nvidia control panel, but then, my eyes would BLEED from actual gameplay)

    or :

    -HIGH CONTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAST, SEE, YOU REDUCED CONTRAST TO 25% AND STILL IT'S SO COLORFUL AND FLASHY THAT YOU ALREADY GOT A HEADACHE ! AND... oh, is that blood from you eyes and ears ?

    and it's the only option, as if, all colorblind are the same.

    Imagine the full-on colorblind guy (yeah, sorry ladies, these type of disabilities are somewhat sexist... on guys it's always a disability, on girls it's much rarer, and actually get them tetrachromacy most of the time) trying to figure out what is selected in the 1st picture without that popup on the side, sure, some of them might show the "illuminated background", but given some icons almost cover completely that part of the square, i'm guessing those squares will be a problem... also, total colorblindness usually comes with other vision problems, which need the people to be able to setup "intimately" the contrast on such menus. 

    Now for the 2nd picture, in my case but I'm betting in the case of many others, WTAF DE ? skew the color hues while going fullbright and call it a day ?

    You can (and must) do better if you pretend this to be accessibility, else, people will only notice how convenient it is for you to sell other color patterns, which i'm sure many will fit our accessibility needs better than those "free" ones...

    I'm not a fan of selling "menu color customizations" in the 1st place, it says "here, please pay for this, we have no other content to sell to you at the moment, please send us some cash !"

    Selling those means you WILL deny us colorblind the ability to have our own pattern editable.

    I, myself, would simply go for a darker red-orange range, and either turn the green a little bluer or simply pass it to blue above a minimum brightness (as the former solution tends to end up in light greens going turquoise, which I personaly find hard to stand)

    For people with other colorblindness, it's other colors that should be shifted around and slightly modified (up or down on the brightness scale).

    One way to have a working thing for us colorblind, would be the ability to change, globally for the text/menus, how a pair of ranges of color translate in the game, whatever the colortheme we use (meaning, we could buy those new colorthemes, since it wouldn't hinder us)

    I'd go on the "reddish range", select a starting color and an ending color on that range, tick the "change brightness/contrast/saturation" box, and slide it a little to the left so it becomes darker, then I'd go to the greenish range, select a start/end colors, and tick the "modify hue" box, or "scale rgb", adding blue component to it.

    Then, whenever something in the menu has to show up with those specific colors for a reason, (friend/foe, bonus/malus, etc) it get changed to what would suit me the best.

    Another guy with another colorblindness might swap his yellows or reddish/pinkish, as it's not only about red and green.

    Still, one point for the intent, but it has to be done well, or it's no use.

  16. "for a while", yeah, about 3-4 days, some people need more patience, as the support is already 1 month late, and I guess the poor souls there are already flooded by such "ghoti" related demands.

    Also, it's not about saying "me too", this, I can totally understand. It's about how there was already 8 different threads about this very subject on the very 1st bug page alone, and everyone kept doing new threads with no regard to those already existing, with clear titles, and even those showing "Solution inside" .

    People being lazy over a fake problem (literally, 4 letters and a click, or 5 key presses if you go with "enter", and you'd have your answer and solution) and then blaming the devs after a free huge 2GB update, which inherently means there will be followup fixes to do, while being busy sorting what they'd do with that GDPR and how it will turn out for the site, game, and everything else...

    If people can't spare 5 key presses, I guess it MUST be the devs fault... Surely, the devs did it on purpose, and having myriads of cold threads with random titles will totally be way more useful and efficient than a "hot" one that could get bump-pinned to the 1st page by grateful people.

  17. Flight speed reducing size of the projectile ?

    I mean, that's basic geometry here, let me explain :

    You have 2 balls of the exact same weight (like, tennis balls)

    You put a compressed spring in-between, if you let go of the spring, the balls will move away from each other at a certain speed, let's say after one second, the balls are 3 meters apart.

    Now, if you were to throw that contraption, assuming the moment you let it go out of your hand, the spring is released, the balls will move forward (because you threw the thing) but at the same time, they will push apart from each other.

    Let's assume you threw the thing "not that hard" : after 1 second, the balls are 5 meters away AND 3 meter apart from each other (which means they traveled ~5.2m according to the pythagorean theorem), the space between the balls is still 3 meters, and at a 5m distance, it's a ~33.4° angle. ( 2x Inv Tan(1.5 / 5) )

    Now lets throw it harder (about "twice"), and aim for a 10 meters per second throw speed : After 1 second, the balls moved forward 10 meters, and they STILL moved 3 meters apart from each other, they traveled ~10.1m (still according to pythagorean theorem), and at a 10m distance, it's a ~17° angle. (2x Inv Tan(1.5/10) )

    From the thrower point of view, those same 3 meters apart look "smaller", because they are farer.

    It's the same with spreading projectiles, you double the speed, you double the range as well, they'll look half as big, but they'll still cover twice the area (or in our case, the volume)

    You may feel it hits "tighter" with projectile speed than without, and it's actually perfectly right and normal, because that observation is based on size(wideness of the projectile) relative to distance, whereas you should actually be comparing size (wideness) with TIME. At one second after releasing the spring, the balls will be 3 meters apart, should you let it fall, throw it softly, or throw it hard.

    You are allowed (*hint : do it*) to take a look at what other people said, it is not "private messaging", you aren't trespassing over anyone's privacy by doing so; yet I suppose you did it for the 1st post, since you came here to complain about the same stuff raygatsu did.

    I answered 1st, with a quote of the actual solution, and many other quote of the solution, and a bunch of the many similar topics created with almost the same titles.

    Because apparently, everyone these day believe their problems to be unique, and think that the exact same description of their bug, with a big "SOLUTION INSIDE" appended to the title, does NOT concern them, at all... figure, all those people complaining of "fisher lady hai-luk not showing the freshly fished ghoties" must ALL have a different problems, right ?     Either you were using what I think you were using, and it is, while being informal, considered "offensive", and the mods got you for that, (and as usual, they totally depend on REPRESSION to make themselves feared, instead of being respected for PREVENTION and education, like telling you "please Don't use that word, if you happen to have to relate to something similar in a polite way, we recommend you use the term "transgender" or "transsexual", and btw, you were maybe thinking about "androgynous".),

    OR, the mod was actually fed up with such lack of culture, when even the wiki page managed to get it right, and with nowadays access to old books for free in online formats, the internet, wikipedia, and so much more, that he/she considered that "you using a slang term you probably learnt by watching a very specific type of content" was the last straw.

    Anyway, your suspension is probably deserved, Learn from it and make amends. Also, you should probably have that cleared with the mods themselves or the support instead of posting about it here (this is the bug section). Ask another player from your region to transmit the message, PM a moderator or community manager on the forums, or send a message in a bottle in the form of the community mailbox, which actually might get you a faster answer.

  21. duh... I'll be frank, I only read diagonally your suggestions, mainly because I assume it is wrong since the 1st step, assuming chroma is currently in a bad shape.

    What' I'll do is tell you how I feel this current Chroma, with examples.

    About general situations, he's still tankier than most frames, unless you really don't know how to build him. You can still have more than decent power (especially with growing power and conversion) while counting on the fact that being damaged means you get more armor and more damage overall (i'm speaking at least +400% here)

    If enemies are too low to actually damage you, you actually don't need the extra damage to end them.

    About eidolons, you'd go with HP, armor, an insane amount of power and duration, at the cost of range and efficiency, i'm speaking about 70% efficiency-ish (that is MINUS 30) and 34% range. Considering you're doing the eidolons, you should not be afraid to use a few consumables, and there is usually one guy bringing in a ZENURIK with the energy-AoE-Dash.

    You get like 800%+dmg for 40+ seconds, at a high cost, true, but the result is very much worth the cost.

    Some players like to remove their shield by using a dragon key. I don't. Losing shield is what makes you tougher, able to withstand the very same magnetic AoE that oneshot those volt and trinity players.

    On a side note, That very same build I bring to AMBULAS ASSASSINATION Sorties. You know, that lvl 100 highly resilient boss you got to kill and defend multiple times, while being bombarded by Frohd Bek's ship or DEATH-STAR-BEAMED in the face ? I facetank this with chroma, not even moving, taking 3dmg per tick...true, multiple time per second, but I guess losing like 12-15 hp/second and keeping everyone else untargetted isn't that high a price to pay for the success of the mission.

    Back to the eidolon now : lower range means people have to stand near you to get the buff, but what a buff. if you don't have the Lanka with a handful of formas and a riven (which I have) you can still let other players have even more damage, just by standing near them, as there isn't so many good spots to stand at when dealing with the eidolon's joints, as long as your group is focused on doing things logically, you shouldn't have any problem providing an uber-buff to those with better weapons.

    About the Secondary weapon : I use castanas (sancti) with this build, to self-damage myself, and with time, I got a riven for these. And I made good use of my usual lack of luck concerning riven rolls, and obtained one with added impact (useless) some other stat I can't remember (utilitary) and a malus in critical chance... more than MINUS 100%. Meaning I removed all chance of crits from castanas and basically made sure that the outcome of the blast is ALWAYS the same, then I worked the damage in simulacrum, tweaking and fiddling til I found the exact value allowing me to get the maximum dmg buff without loosing more HP than needed, (and those are covered by the sentinels medi-ray).

    So, for a frame able to facetank a death-star like laser like it's a tanning lounge, while being able to oneshot about anything in the game, albeit at a heavy increase in cost and range, while facemelting the lvl 100 Ambulas with spectral scream in 3 seconds each, I don't think "burnt-out match" is the right qualificative.
