Chroma is fine...Chroma doesn't need a rework.  He's just isn't a dragon.  Call it something else and make an actual Dragon frame.

Chroma suffers from the same issue that Revenant and Oberon have. He is trying to be too many things at once, and it's simply not working. He is just a one trick pony that barely follows his original theme(which, for the record, is in fact Dragon-Frame) due to all the tweaking over the years, and all it has accomplished is to make Chroma one of the most boring Frames in the game. On a similar note, Oberon and Revenant need reworks. Oberon's mish-mash of Paladin and Druid theme never worked in the first place, and ditto for the random Vampire theme Revenant got slapped with at the last second.

I think the openworld I'd like to see the most is Mars, for two reasons:

Mars has fantastic terrain opportunities, breathtaking canyons with houses carved into the red rockface, vast, arid deserts with underground settlements and maybe some sort of orokin-enhanced oasises. Oh yeah and more sandskate floofs.

Besides looking fantastic, Mars is one of the few planets that are disputed with multiple factions inhabiting it. If I were to design a Mars openworld, I'd make it as an active warzone with Corpus in the north, Grineer in the south and maybe some sort of civilian faction caught in the crossfire. Bounties would aim to sabotage the war effort on both sides and could possibly work like invasions - Help out the Grineer by sabotaging Corpus facilities and vice versa.

Someone did this a while ago in the fan concepts area. I can try to dig it up. However, I doubt there are any civilian colonists left on Mars after the Grineer Genocide.

One thing tho we shoudl consdier in this, how does the Ropalyst fit in this? Correct me if i am wrong and i might remember wrong now but wasn't it Hunhow in disguese that made Alad V create the Amalgams while we apperently with the Revenant quest freed the Ropalyst, at least the vision looks like it or simliar, however that goten to Jupiter tho.

Why he not showed himself or tried somethign there already?

But who said it was Hunhow? We know that a Mimic was disguised as his friend Regus, and Natah was gone by then. It's more likely to have been Natah herself or Erra that blackmailed him into it than Hunhow himself. As for the Ropalolyst, based on Natah's voicelines during the fight, my guess is that it's a special puppet unit created specifically for Natah so she can participate in battle without the risk of getting recaptured.

I’m glad you mention this. Hunhow started saying “you have to come with me so I can protect you.” Natah said “nah fam”. Alright, step 2: send the long arm boi I’m in cahoots with. Checkmate.

Or, it's possible that Hunhow was trying to protect her from Ballas. After what Ballas and the other Executors did to Natah so they could control the Tenno, I'm fairly certain Hunhow had his suspicions regarding his co-conspirator. With this in mind, it's actually possible that Hunhow's efforts during the Second Dream were him testing the waters with how deep Natah's brainwashing went.

I don't buy that he's dead (who kills off a main villain in a side quest) and I have a pretty good counter-explanation.

According to Lotus herself, Erra is dead. Whoever this is, is not 'Erra' to some degree, he's manipulating and abusing the Lotus, and trying to reanimate (likely not revive) 'Mother' - assuming her death wasn't also a lie from 'Erra'. Which means, in total, this person is effectively wearing the skin (metaphorically or otherwise) of Hunhow's son, abusing his daughter, and potentially desecrating the corpse of his lover.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't go anywhere near a person like that.

While I doubt that he is completely dead(Shadow Stalker, Occulysts on Uranus, ect.) I doubt he is the one behind Erra. After all, Hunhow was making a point of trying to prevent Natah from linking up to the other Sentients to avoid her being reclaimed, so it's likely he is aware of what was going on in their ranks and was trying to protect her.

Personslly i only use ivara for solo spy missions or riven challenges needing stealth.

I don't find her useful for anything else.  Her abilities and stats are just not good enough for general use.

And i never use her exalted bow as my primary gun is almost always better by alot.

Well, as was shown, Ivara's other use is for artillery. Truth be told, It's a build that works best in open world areas, like Orb Vallis. Weapons like Kuva Bramma and Lenz are best for it, but pretty much any explosive weapon works.

Im still waiting on this too. Better be patient tho, Faven currently working on Gauss, and maybe other projects. Tho he did once said that both Frost and Mirage alt helmet design was pretty much done, but i would rather a Nova-like treatment for Frost, completely updated Frost graxx skin with alt helmet, with the new flavor of Graxx we see now.

Truth be told, Frost is pretty much the sole Warframe in the entire game where one can give him a hood as part of an alt skin and it wouldn't feel forced. After all, Frost's design evokes the image of someone in a big winter coat, and where I come from, most of those have hoods.

Nidus was a frame that was consumed by the helminth strain upon his construction. So he just became the infested frame. That can be primed.

Novas just a frame without an elaborate backstory.

Harrows the gunslinger cleric/priest. Nothing about his backstory creates conflict between normal and prime.

The first Harrow ever created in lore was built from scraps salvaged/stolen by the early Red Veil for Rell. Since it was not created by the Orokin, there cannot be a Harrow Prime without it creating a Lore Paradox.

Nova was created by the Tenno High Council in the lore, a group that is highly unlikely to have existed during the Orokin era due to the potential such a group would have for leading a rebellion.

Nidus is a frame that utilized the raw form of the Infestation as the source of it's power, something that the Orokin couldn't control.

Aight crusade against the Grineer. Make Hek suffer for this. I know he isn't connected to Kuva, but I still blame him. He's currently the most competent Grineer. And the butt of all jokes. Break him. It's his fault and nothing can change my opinion.

Most Competent? If by that you mean "Only Grineer commander that has faced us and not died", then yeah, sure.

If true, interesting. Nukor took too long to kill stuff for me . Hind i felt uunderpowered. Neither have a side or upgrade version right?

Nope. Hind has a mod that gives it a 100% damage bonus on the last bullet if you hit with the previous four in a single burst, but that mod is Conclave exclusive. Also, on top of the Kuva Nukor and Kuva Hind there is also the Kuva Bramma, which is basically a Grineer explosive bow.

You dare mock the thighs of sword-steel?

In all seriousness, the red and black is usually done lazily due to the sheer number of people who want to be a bionicle makuta or whatever. I've seen some kuva/nightwatch themed loadouts which make sense in context, but usually those aren't completely black or red.

It depends really. For instance, my Excalibur(regular Excalibur) is built around the Mordred Helmet, and the Black Knight look is pretty good on Excal.

Maybe folks already got one i suppose. If i hadn't gotten one from sortie 50 plat is good in my book.

The current roll on mine is +toxin, +crit damage, and +damage to grineer. Not terribly great, but not a garbage roll by any means. Certainly better than the last roll....

  13. 19 minutes ago, (PS4)Kakurine2 said:

Lol i got a amprex riven from sortie. What exactly are people asking for. Did anyone offer anything? Did you haggle at all?

Not even a single offer, and the Riven itself isn't bad either. The only downside on it is -fire rate, and even then at max rank the neg is so low that it is easily negated with Shred, which is a mod most weapons use anyways.

Edit: scratch that. I rolled the thing and got a way better roll, yet I still can't sell the bloody thing.

  14. 11 hours ago, --C--Nehra said:

lol, and here I had trouble selling good rolls of rivens for some not so meta weapons (by no means useless weapons) for even a measly 80 P. (PC trade chat ofc).

Dude I can't even sell an Amprex Riven on the PC market. Seriously, an Amprex Riven. You'd think a Riven for a weapon thats basically a Nuke Volt in gun form would sell lightning fast(pun absolutely intended), but nope.

yes king hunch back the perpetual slouch is fine.  I'm sorry I have tried to get the prime to work it is easyier to color than the stock skin but always looked bad mostly because of the posture the Prime is a crime of taste and the helmet well that one is a war crime

The hunch can be dealt with via Syandana.

Dont forget you can always use the regular version as skin on the prime. Default Oberon Prime is a warcrime and should not exist.

Default Oberon Prime's Helmet is a crime against design standards. The rest rest of the skin is ok on it's own, pretty good with the Taurus Helm and a decent color scheme, but the default helm helm can burn in hell.

I would think Valkyr has the same clone memories that Umbra does, since modern Valkyrs are all post-Corpus

Obviously this can't account for Valkyr Prime, but I always assumed that she's actually Gersemi Prime and the devs just didn't name her that for marketing reasons

My personal theory regarding Valkyr Prime(and any other Prime that doesn't make sense in the context of that frame's lore) is that it's the modern version rebuilt/redesigned with Orokin-grade materials, and is referred to as a Prime for simplicity's sake. As for why they turn up in relics, that's more of a symptom of the Gameplay vs Lore issue.

Problem is that abilities don't scale well. It's basically either killing everything around you at low levels or not worth the energy at higher levels.

I kind of think that one of it's abilities should be an auto-turret that uses the stats for a second equipped Archgun. Channeled ability, Auto-adjusts for projectile travel time while it shoots, 1/4th the damage (as it will have AI tracking), and target priority similar to "Assault Mode" sentinel precept.

One issue is that Archwing has almost no ways to increase Ability Strength aside from (Primed)Morphic Transformer, which hurts Elytron's viability quite a bit.

Elytron needs a full kit replacement. There's just no getting around it. Three of the abilities are "fire a missile" and yes, it's the worst possible kind of targeting that requires the player to guide it by the hand like a toddler to its target, targeting that makes you desperately wish for even a dumbfire missile, but they're bad and nearly identical abilities regardless.

I don't think even one direct damage missile is really an acceptable option. As has been said many times, the difference between an MR7's Elytron and an MR 28's is 55% power strength, which means Elytron will be right back where it is in archwing, but in the new content instead - one-shotting everything in Earth Proxima but with no upgrade path whatsoever, and as a result irrelevant in Saturn, let alone Veil. Or based on % health and unable to one-shot anything I guess. We have guns for shooting things already, and they get plenty of their own mods, so let them do their job. If the missiles were like Vauban's grenades and just released a power of some kind on impact it'd be different, but they're all damage oriented.

Looking at Archline as an investment level, I can picture plenty of over-the-weekend reworks for Elytron that would be more effective than anything based on its existing abilities could be. You know, how about Renewwing, Archsnare, Will o' the Wing, and Space Pillage? I could work with that. = P

I think Elytron is fine as far as it's intended role, which is to be the damage-oriented archwing, it's just that the guidance for it's abilities is incredibly bad and most of it's abilities deal next to no damage(rather ironic, don't you think).. If anything, I'd keep Warhead as is as far as mechanics go, just with a massive damage boost. It makes sense for that ability to be manually guided, it's a freaking nuke. However, I'd rework Thumper into a Macross-style missile massacre ability, basically just Odanata's 3(why does Odanata even have that ability anyways?), and I'd make it's current 3 into it's 1 with automatic guidance.
