    I think it was intended by DE that the community finds how this works. I don't quite understand the complaints because NW is not the core of the game it is a side activity in my opinion. 

    I have been around since july last year and played before some mmos never seen that kind of event that is playable by everyone and with interesting rewards along the year (I mean theres almost always an intermission or season ingoing). Usually you'll see this only during annual festivities.

    That is something I have being against as the stuff should be in game and translated accordingly.
    Because not everyone is an English speaker (yes backin my day there was a HUGE Japanese following for warframe, they even had a few moon clans).
    And they will not be able to understand what is shared.

    Bottom line is, if there is a global timer, make it visible ingame. People should not be alt - tabbing.

    It doesn't. You can do it even with Excalibur.

    Notwithstanding the usual speed frames (volt, jetstream Zephyr, Gauss etc) have an advantage.
    Or you can mod creatively and put enough power range on Rhino and watch him spam 1 through the map.
    Which Excal can do the same too.

    The puzzle is difficult enough that a lot of folks fail on the first try... Or they fell off the ledge due to no aim glide or bullet jump.
    Remember you have to get 3 segments right in 1 attempt. So there is plenty of people who are going to fail.

    I am not even asking for a "fix the jumps" or allow unlimited re-tries. But a more condense and consistent way to farm resonance.

    You have to shoot the glass bits off. If you are using a precision weapon it matters otherwise you will be seeing 0 damage, at least in my experience.
    Naturally Ignis or other bullet hoses won't have that issue.

    The system as it is now is fine. Just give us better transparency about what we're actually supposed to be doing for it.


    How is it instant ? Your puzzles are still time gated, just like how the dioramas are slowly unlocked for the rest.

    If you have so much fear of people farming a mission at 100 standing a piece, then remove all standing gain from such missions then.
    And remove standing from glass enemy kills on top of that.

    I would gladly trade a near constant spawn of glass enemies over the 30 glass standing they give. 
    Because it is actually fun as enemy weak spots are randomized thus mixing up combat.

    While in the same time giving those who cannot adhere well to timers, a chance to farm their Cephalite resonance.

  6. 1) Let me queue the Foundry. I played since 2013 and has being asking for that forever.
    Heck make it an upgrade. But I don't want to use a game app for something that I can preset in advance.
     

    2) Dedicated servers. Self explanatory.
    There are enough bugs like being glitched and not able to attack / use weapons.
    Or host DCing and causing the game to be glitched out etc.
    Or at least when host DC, host migration should be done on DE's own dedicated server.

  7. Or just make it a permanent void fissure / requiem fissure style mission until NW is over.

    5 maps on rotation. Guaranteed spawns on fixed maps means even players that cannot handle harder content will have experienced folks helping them out as well.
    Also keeps the community knitted, not spread all over the place.

    If DE is afraid of "too much standing" earn, well, then make each mission award a mere 100 standing then. We have NW for the bulk of standing.

  8. Just to feedback,  I have pretty much completed my entire daily / weekly Nightwave duties (just left 4 syndicate) and gotten like 11 Cephalite Resonance. 
    That is actually pretty bad drop to say the least.

    Some suggested Nekros / Hydroid / Ivara. But ideally such quest intensive resource should not require such frames in the first place.

    Solution will be to increase the spawn rate or drop rate. 
    Rumors are of a global timer, I strongly against anything with global timers because isn't this why we remove alerts in the first place ?

    If a glass unit spawn, simply make the entire map of enemies turn into glass minions.  That will save us the headache.
    And we are all aware that even if you slain dozens of these, the Cephalite is not a guaranteed drop at all.

    So there is no harm if enemies spawns in greater numbers.

  9. Honestly it is not hard to blaze through the entire map even without a speedster.
    The goal is to teach you how to prioritize, parkour and avoid damage / tank it up.

    It is oddly simple anyway. Catch 1 guy, ignore the rest and blaze through the map.
    Barely stopping to cast a few CC here and there.

    You should have enough trigger discipline to not waste time and gun down anything at all. 
    Make it a goal to get 0 kills and then see how fast you run.

  10. Honestly as long the glassed enemies spawn much more frequently I will be cool.
    Failure is absolutely ok, but don't put the quiz on a timer, or punish players who fall off.

    If the glasser really spawns, just turn the entire mission into a glass missions, so we can farm it up.
    Or if they are going to remain these few spawns, increase their drop amount.

  11. Grind has never changed and it has gotten more grindy (kuva liches, railjack etc).
    But the core aspect still has not changed. Which is basically shoot it until it dies 99% of the time.

    On the flipside because there is so much power creep, you can just narrow down to a few top tier weapons and work your time and forma on those.
    Thus severely cutting grind. Unless you are an MR chaser of course.

  12. If all you care is about bullet dumping and burst DPS, then sorry you will be hella disappointed with many autoguns variants.

    Honestly this upgrade is similar to how the Soma Prime when it was released. 
    The Soma Prime doesn't even have a damage increase over the Soma (or crit boost), but the main benefit was a large magazine (200 vs 100) and larger ammo reserve (800 vs 540).
    In the end the Soma Prime has a tiny better burst DPS (due to faster spool), but greatly better sustained DPS.

    This same logic applies to Supra Vandal, again a tiny crit bump but even then it only has 16% crit. 
    Which means it ain't doing significantly better than the base Supra anyway,
    But again improved mag size and reserve. And accuracy, so you can actually hit targets.
    Again burst DPS improvement is nothing remarkable but sustained and applicable DPS is much higher.


    The Baza Prime upgrade is similar to those 2 above.
    The Baza already has 800 rounds reserve, makes no sense to boost it to silly numbers. 
    Baza Prime doesn't have double the mag size over Baza but it still has a substantial 50% increase, because it also had better crit and improved reload.
    This sustained DPS completely blows out the Baza out of the water, because you are talking about a difference of 10k+ at least in max modded stat.

     

  13. I will keep this simple.

    1) 5 second invulnerability when entering or leaving a ship as Archwing. This is the primary time where most AWs are at the most vulnerable. 
    For Amesha, she escapes those with either her 1 or 4 cast immediately on leaving. 
    The rest is a death sentence.

    2) Greatly increase fall off of NON-hit scan weapons. At least reward us for our aim.
    Basically double or triple it.

    3) Forward Artillery is sad. Even with the mod, at Veil levels, you are still using up to 3 to 4 shots.
    Forward Artillery should completely ignore armor (it is the BFG) and no range falloff, considering how difficult is it to aim that thing (it is a fixed mount and highly dependent on piloting). Even with those removed it will still take some effort to pop Veil crew ships (maybe from 3 beams to 2).

    4) Damage battle avionics needs to hit harder (no abusing Rhino roar is not a feature) for Veil usage.
    It is no secret why the most popular is either Tether or Blackhole for CC, cos the damage is negligible. 

    5) Randomized loot.
    No random loot should have stats lower than it's clan equal.
    For example Sigma III at base is +50 cap +100 Flux.
    ALL MK3s should have these as their minimum lowest value and different max cap.

    For example Vidar will be 50 - 100 for cap. While Zekti should be 50 - 80 for cap etc

    The fact DE could make all Faction weapon drops better than regular Clan T3 (always same damage stats as Clan T3 before adding ROF / damage bonus) but somehow forgot to ensure reactor / engines / shields get the same pass baffles me.

  14. DE already does that. They balanced everything around sortie, arbitration 40 waves / 40 mins or ESO 8 waves.
    Because that is the popular cap that most players will attain try to attain, max reward for smallest effort.

    Anything else is up to you.

    I used to do 2 hour survivals but I have stop partaking that as my play time has gotten lower.
    But I would really prefer not to deprive the fun of other players by adding a level cap.

  15. Your mileage will vary, but generally players are not utter $&*^s as Warframe is cooperative, you never know even a lowly MR3 picks you when you blow yourself up with a 6 forma penta (like myself).

    However, forum and reddit is much more intense as everyone has their own way of balance and playing, so disagreements tend to be... harsh.

  16. Seriously they are just a toughened up Scavenger drone.
    Liches don't even steal rare mods for crying out loud, just kill them.

    FYI Scavenger drones fully confiscate stuff, even killing them will not get them back, these Liches however, if you kill them, they drop em.
    And Scavenger drones STEAL anything (including mods drop from Acolytes), yet I don't see people screeching so much back then.

  17. If you want cool downs and limited energy ? Well play Destiny 2.

    Even then it reaches a point where I have so many masterwork weapons that drop light orbs / energy orbs on multi-kills that I can safely ignore cool down duration on my abilities. Then add mods like melee kills restoring like 1/4 to 1/3 your power bar and cool down suddenly matters less.

    But at least I need to kill a bunch of thrash in between to power up. But if that is what you want, then play Destiny 2.

    Mass Effect games relied on the cool down system but it was thoroughly shredded anyway by good players.
    I mean they brought the cool down of spam abilities to 1 to 2 seconds with careful manipulation of mechanics, which is nearly no different from warframe.
    Heck good Vanguard players don't even shoot their guns once.

    So honestly, they are already out there, just not warframe, you can try those.
