    Quoted because not following thread.

Slow down there mate. The only legit issue here is running around with Alarms on without worrying to turn them off and staying over very long periods of time in a mission that isn't endless.

Bursas are a special unit, and so they are supposed to be stronger.

They work like this: They first appear around the base level of the mission, like all other enemies. As the alarms stay on or keep getting triggered and enough time has passed, they work like Endless missions, they next spawn is always stronger. That's why OP had a level 27 eventually.

One should get used to Bursas at a lower level and see how they work, they were already nerfed (You can flank them with much less effort now). Then at higher level you should be aware, if you got alarms, either you shut them down asap or if you hear Lotus say that one as spawned (or hear a Bursa yourself before Lotus speaks) get yourself into advantageous ground like big open rooms and work with them.

Although I also dislike the expression "git gud" this is a situation that actually allows said expression, you should learn how an enemy work and train / develop ways to defeat it.

I've always disliked being called mate unless you are taking me to dinner.

That being said, i persobally know how they run and thatthey were indeed nerfed.. the white and red ones that is.

The blue one specifically is like is Earth sent a land rover to the moon with a canon to exterminate all life forms because it floats and moves faster than the other 2. So it will swivel around and punch you RIGHT in the nuts. (Nor is every moment gonna present you with the delightful option to clear your alarms, get to a better room ect so its better to know what you are getting into and be flexible)

Ill agree you, all these tips are great to learn and habits to get into but some things can not be refuted as what it is:

    Ridiculous at times.

  2. He is complaining about a legit issue you know

All of you are like " git gud" but how do you stop the ai from locking the ship down just for SMELL the fuel from your liset as you dock. Because that happens more than it needs to.

Even then, if you are careful, not to trigger alarms which I have NO idea what you are expecting when the general player base mentality is to do a mission as quickly as possible, you are going to sound an alarm if you like it or not.

Bursa are very unforgiving and god forbid you get the blue one because HA you are gonna die at least once.

The Ai doesnt care if its level 12 or level 1200 it will still come at you will the force of a thousand suns. A very fatal flaw really.

Now to deal with it if and WHEN you summon said creature: try to cc it somehow. A blind, stun, fear whatever you got. Quickly get behind it and gun down its hacking panel.

At least you tasted theor fury now and not later on when they basicly 1 shot you.. oh wait.. they can do that regardless of your level.. PLS NURF

So... I am a vet but I haven't played for a while. So I can not say anything about the new void and the new drop system...

    But one thing:

    ...

Of course it's Dev bashing when you call them lazy.

How do you know that they're lazy? Do you observe them while they are working?

I can say im a Vet. I left for a bit, came back for Nekros and Vauban Prime + weapons I missed.

That being said, fun can actually only go so far. I do enjoy just looking good, trust me I have for a while but I also enjoy getting that good reward ya know what I'm sayin'?

Even my best friend would have stopped playing without me.

How I feel about the devs is that they have priorities that aren't always aligned with new and older players. If you think about it, we haven't had a super major update in a long time, only content to keep us going. If you dont care about PVP, alot of the new content seems like your run of the mill new frame + weapons, which will only get you so far. Our only event was the one with Darvo.

They work hard, they really do, but I also believe that they are missing out on some critical opportunities to make players happy. Like it almost feels like they are putting all their eggs in this one War Within basket.

I want quality, yes, but warframe isnt something that can go long without anything of substance happening since this game is built on the idea of hoarding (its true. Unless you do long survivals just to test yourself against an ai system that can barely hold itself up sometimes).

Please PLEASE do not add ducats to any drop tables because that will backlash SO hard. (The fact that the people with the highest ducat amounts are older players but Baro rarely has things to offer so it will make people salty to know you ran a mission and got ducats when you could have gotten something more useful. Just my opinion)

The void is special, so I think what will make things fresh? Prime Item rotation.

See ya got cha void mission and lets say for 1 sortie rotation, the bottomless pit of the void has released parts into the void. So you got all your teirs in there and you can get those parts WITHOUT TRACES OR RELICS.

Now the next sortie rotation, the void is all shifty and turns those items into something else of their respective teirs.

You have 2 systems together without overlap. You can farm parts just for funs in the void but its likely not the part you want but theennn you can run over to your relics and with the traces you have collected from said void mission, you can try your luck at a relic.

So now the void drops : changing prime parts, traces, and a bit of relics. Maybe throw endo and mods in there.

Older players can look at this rotation like dang, i could really go for some endless void right now as they lick their dry lips from the update drought and BOOM rotation C: Tigris Prime bp for the next 3 weeks. Lets go farm. AND this new system should have slowly increasing chances for better things as you do longer missions.

You can pick from doing short fast relic missions amd aim for the 1 thing you want OR you can run longer missions and farm things you can sell for money and ducats ect but no matter what, you still get traces and no time is wasted. (Maybe even a rotation C can drop radiant relics maybe???).

Prime items are never a bad thing so seeing it pop up in your mission will make you happy, even if its not what you want because there will always be a way to get what you want.

    JUST MEH 2 CENT

Summary: give the void a prime item rotation that changes every month while keeping the current relic system.

  4. She was expensive before anyway

Because she is a frame that can wipe out low/mid/sometimes alittle higher tier content without much work on her part. She is literally the perfect farming frame for exp now.

But no one wants to use regular ember that's dumb. She has been reworked multiple times but is still in a position where they only give her bandaid augments. (None of them have anything of real substance).

So now you can spend 1.5k on a frame and farm till your hearts content ;3

  5. Why rework carrier when you can improve every else.

    Wyrm's CC is decent

Helios has his boomerang that ive seen ragdoll enemies amd do decent damage (also i need those it to be able to scan things such as plants and cats as much as I want.)

Buff Djinn's bulkiness and reduce incoming fire on it and then we'll talk

Deathcube needs to blind enemies it hits. Maybe it doesn't kill them but it straight up ZAPS THEIR EYES OUT.

  6. I think instead of reworking the abilities, just tweak them but make the foundation they are built on better.

Controlling animals is fine but the game does not promote  it. The world is generally empty of wildlife besides grineer enemies. So make everyone tileset time have an animal occurance. It would enhance overall the world they live in:

Corpus and grineer ships: captive wild animals/ their owm war animals that are locked in cages.

    Ice planets: sabertooth polar bears

    Shipyard: sludge crocs

    It can be done.

I think Vauban's is fine if you take that % off and make it a flat amount.

Hydroid's you need to rework his tentacles in general to grab multiple enemies and do blast damage when they hit the ground. I also personally think that the tentacles should " frenzy ", attacking faster and stronger with each kill by a small amout for X time.

At least with this, spawning a tentacles will be useful as you now have an extra entity doing damage and providing CC while not devaluing your ult.

It's not Draco, it's the problem that DE didn't make any changes for so much time.

Then it will be like Viver all over again: dang our lootcave is gone, time to find another.

  8. It looks great.. on paper. But application wise, I still think invisibility builds will dominate and people might use those other 2 abilities more but it wont radically change Loki at all.

I love the ideas dont get me wrong but the real question is:

Why should I use any of those abilities instead of invisibility?

Invisable is a 50 energy get out of jail free card. As long as you don't stand in the line of fire, you're good. Why should you use switch teleport at all?

Good argument although the second half is perspective.

So why not argue that for the ability 100 energy is too much? Maybe something like lower the energy cost for the ability at hand?

Id lower the regen cost. If you keep all 7, it only costs 50 energy to regen but for every dead you must pay x% energy until the cosr is 100 energy to summon all 7

  10. I personally find them better not because they kill anything (they do but it takes a while, they destroy  weakened enemies like cupcakes) bur because christ they draw so much aggro away from you. Im serious. These are the new defenders because you can stare at the defense point  while your shadows drsw aggro. I find him to be the god of split excavators as you solo an excavator while the rest of your team does the other.

And better yet, it picks the best shadows you have so let me just get some tar moa, some healers and chargers on my team or just 3 nullifers and those bursa and feel like a god.

Does it have its share of problems? Yes of course and I hate it . But do I miss old SotD? Not at all.

  11. Ive spent maybe 50$ maybe. Just bought some plat yesterday with a discount. I normally use it on cosmetics and slots. Sadly i dont havethe money to straight out buy prime access but I do frequent trade chat and buy/sell things

  12. I feel like it only impacted you during fissure missions so they dont spawn directly in your head with a fully functional bubble. Now we can be bitter about a PARTIALLY inflated bubble landing on our heads.

They aren't gonna remove nullifers (not anytime soon). But god do I hope they are considering punch through

    >says veterans have a harder time farming stuffs now

Sorry but I farmed the entire PA right now, while it took me one week to farm one warframe in the old void system, can't agree with anything like that.

But that just seems like a luck thing because a lucky veteran with all the keys /could/ get all the parts of a PA in one weeks time. Not disagreeing with you, I just am picking about that argument.

Personally, as an old thread stated: the grind never got worse but it also never got that much better. But what it did give was variety and some reimbursement (which they need to put some consistentcy in traces but thst is a beast to tackle in another thread).

Lets be honest: t3/t4 survival got STALE, FAST. It was cute and fun but it was a chore. Now you have that same chore but in the form of different drop locations sprawled across the star chart. So now, unlike before, you dont have everyone and their mom on 1-3 nods and an empty star chart. Now its like well crap I am tired of Heiracon let me go do Cerberus. Let me go do Sedna.

Then when you get your relics, you go run a simple mission or two. But poo, ya got another braton prime receiver. Instead of laying down to die because Baro's stuff is ugly and useless, you get a little reimbursement to roll over to your next relic attempt. Because before if you didn't get what you wanted WELP tough titmouse.

Now if you dont get what you wanted, you technically don't feel like a complete peice of crap at the end of the whole ordeal because refinement gives you "hope".

Ya still gonna get a forma but at least its not a COMPLETE waste.

Thats how I see the new system. Its a love hate relationship.

  14. Honestly I think it should just hace a feature added to it: it adds the afflicted target to your shadow roster even if it didn't die. I personally wish that punched enemies got a debuff either slowed or pseudo viral proc.

If you have shadows out already, it instead buffs your shadows by a small percentage if you kill an enemy that had his soul punched out. So you punch, shoot, then get buffed up to like x% (would make a good augment).

  15. Afternoon all.

    I was just curious:

    1. Is the prime mortos bonds available on nekros prime if you do not purchase the full pack  (shadows)

    2. If you craft nekros prime from parts, will the bonds be available on him?

    3. Can normal mortos bonds be placed on Nekros Prime?

    4. Are the bonds purchasable via prime accessories pack?

Im really curious because I'd hate to invested in the desecrate pack and not get the bonds or craft his parts and its incomplete..
