  1. Woo let me throw one in there.

So I am a recent graduate student. I started playing during the end of my freshman year. I love video games but dont always have the console to play it. My laptop is a potato but very faithful.

For entertainment, I play my 3ds or free to play games. Warframe has literally been my favorite FTP game Ive ever played.

    Here's why:

    1. For a commoner like me, I can still fully enjoy this game without using my own money. Being able to trade in game currency has been a blessing and has allowed me and my friends to enjoy this hame to the fullest. Even without plat, Baro giving cosmetics (which actually look decent) can make you stand out. I guess this holds highly to me because I dont have alit of money but its good to know that I dont feel pressure I pay for things just to enjoy the game. When I do have money, I like yo throw a few dollars here and there just to show I care.

    2. All the cosmetics. I love persoalizing anything I can get. No other game allows me this indepth customization. From my ship, to my child, to my cat. Hell the way my character just STANDS AROUND LIKE WHAT. YOU GOT TWO LOKIS STANDING NEXT TO EACH OTHER AND ONE OF THEM IS HOT PINK FLOATING 3 FEET OFF THE GROUND AND THE OTHER IS BLACK AND RED WITH NEKROS ANIMATIONS. Its crazy.

    3. Enjoyable gameplay. I use to hate games with shooting because of old experience but there is so much weapon diversity. Im content with all the things I got.

    4. Lore. Trust me, Pre Second dream update I couldn't tell you  ANYTHING about this game. I know its still a WIP and is growing all the time but when a friendcomes over my shoulder and asks "whats is warframe " I can say more than just sexy robot like ninjas with swords and guns (tho that pulls them in anyway )

    5. Coop.

I play league of legends on the side, Overwatch too and let me tell you I have never been S#&$ on more in my life. I started Warframe before League so when I was called so pretty messed up stuff I was TAKEN BACK. Never (rarely) in warframe have I been called a name besides sexy or lookin good or "you're Anatolius! I see you on tumblr." So its a breath of fresh air when I can play a game and not being called a peice of trash for  feeding the enemy team.

    6. A close relationship to the Developers. I know it might not seem like it but it feels like I am being heard. ALOT more than any other team I have contacted. I dunno if its because the community is small but let me tell you, yall are SAINTS. Id kiss ya cheek if I could!

    So yeah

    Warframe is an ok game.

    :]

  2. Rhino is the most beginner friendly character in the game. Very simple and straightforward yet tanky enough to carry you until you find a new frame you like.

He also work prettywell into late game content so he will end up being one of your more reliable frames. I still use my rhino when I feel like being a tank in sorties.

  3. I mean I ASSUME its whatever it was before

But with DE playing with the numbers, I would still go to Heiracon and just leave nekros toggled on.

It just came out so I dunno what is considered "alot" of endo. I did an infested darksector and got about 450 in 20 minutes (i was lagging though so I am positive I missed a decent amount).

  4. For me I wouldn't mind nullifers if their mechanics didn't suck so bad.

I know DE has their plans for nullifers but the problem is when more than just a few nullifers become a problem. Yes you can just "git gud" and change your tactics but somethings arent that simple.

Some problems I have with nullifers:

    1. Enemy composition. Nullifers are fine with certain enemies near them, but not every enemy. For example, when multiple nullifer bubbles overlap, which hinders vision. In the presence of a napalm. In the presence of an Ancient.

    2. Bubble surface clipping. This HAS GOT to go. The bubble needs to form to obstacles like walks, not go though them.

    3. "Popping" bubbles. Its easier to just go in and kill them but that may also be a VERY risky option. Yet its normally the only feasible option when using bows and snipers.

This can easily be demonstrated in a bow/sniper only sortie vs Corpus . Good luck.

    4.Power disruption.

I dont mind it turning abilities off but what I hate the most is the energy wasted for it. Too many times has a nullifer spawned ontop of me or jumped onto me or ran into me with their jerky movement.

Just a few things I would want out of nullifers:

    1. A given number of nullifers can spawn but no more  in a give tile and within a given time of one another.

    2. Make bubbles penetratable by punch through.

    3. Ability energy is either partially refunded (never fully) or the duration or energy drain of an ability exponentially increases the longer you are in a bubble until the ability is forced to end. At least then if you are fast enough you can salvage an ability.

    4. Make summons avoid the bubble PLEASE.

not looking to trade the actual plat to my other account i wanted to gift the what stalker? bundle to it i put in a ticket about 15min ago and waiting a response right now just to be 100% safe if its not allowd i will have to go back to hoping i get a 75% on my "main account"

    OH I understand now.

Hm. That's actually new to me as the gifting system is relatively new. I do think it still stands that you are using another account to obtain platinum for your personal gain, regardless of the platinums intentions.

Its obvious you just HAPPEN to get the discount so you didn't actively use your account to harvest discounts, but yes, it is best you hear it from a supports mouth. They might let you do it, they might not.

i'm not looking to sell the things i would buy with plat to other players for profit. i was hoping to buy the what stalker? pack for my account

I know. Its just hypothetical. I cant give you a definitive answer but I dont know what will happen. I know you are helping the game out however, if you really feel it will be a problem, contact support.

If you do get approval, make sure you have the credits for both accounts to trade. Trading plat is expensive.

I think the reason its frowned upon is because it was rewarded to that specific account, regardless of its owner. I assume they assume 1 person = 1 active primary account. So its like using multiple instances to get a discount in order to get platinum.

Your scenario is fully understandable but what about a ranked Vitality or Redirection for personal use? KJRenz made it sound like trading is absolutely forbidden, that's why I'm asking where he got this from or if I am just misunderstanding.

I personally think it should be fine for something small. Not trying to break the system but they can look at your trading history and if they find anything suspicious, they can take action against you. I dont condone testing the waters with too much vigor.

Its just a heads up but DE doesnt seem THAT mean to get on you about a few common mods. I however, have never tried trading mods between accounts so I cant say how strict they are on that issue.

Its all about what you do, how you did it and the duration of your action.

  7. I never understand why people think nothing gets fixed. Maybe not on your time but with time, yeah (and reminding them about it).

No major update will ever have just fixes. Thats not how you get money

Now, I can see it being fairy frame, nekros prime, some weapons, maybe nothing game changing.

But under that will be fixes that are half as long as the post itself. Rome wont built in a day

Hmm how do you get the "no trading" part? Is starting a new account and trading a few basic mods from your first account any kind of circumvention of restrictions?

    Think of it like this:

My first account was around when the first snipertron vandal came out. If I traded it to this account  in order to get money off it, id be abusing the system. This goes for other things like event only mods. You could trade them to your "new" account in an attempt to generate profit.

These are all hypothetical and like mentioned, its case by case. Just be careful

  9. This might be a question for support or if a CM comes in for confirmation. This similar situation has happened before and they got banned so its best not to risk your account over a discount.

You can have multiple accounts, its how you use them that will get you suspended or banned.

  10.  I spoke with zephyr's concept art creator to run the ideas just for kicks. Just make a toggle fly with constant desend if you aren't in motion with an augment that increases jump height and speed of all surround allies.

Her 1 can be a linear shot but her wing blade thing. Nothing too crazy or exciting with a decent range but low damage  but its what you can do with it. It stuns (or maybe ragdolls) enemies in that line and enemies hit are disoriented: decreasing accuracy by a noticeable amount for x seconds  (think of the emp mod). So even hitscan enemies should aim slightly off key everytime. An augment could be that it leaves a small, short lived  wind tunnel that "cushions " bulllets, decreasing their effectiveness (think of it like a real bullet trying to pass though a bullet proof jacket . It will be stopped of course or at least lessen the impact).

kind of a new passive I considered was where airborne enemies take x% more damage. All airborne. So helions, ragdolled enemies, tornado enemies, enemies jumping off a ledge. If you dont have 2 feet firmly planted on the ground, you get smacked. Or airborne shots do more to ground enemies (think of a hawk, going in for the kill). So yes, jumping and aimgliding will give you an edge but it more that it should be used in tandem with your fly or tornado to make you hard to hit while still doing good damage.

Tornado can stay the same, however, it gives zephyr reduced drain on her fly and acts like a mini turbulence (you wont have to cast it if you are already flying in it), making you hard to target.

I personally want to see her as more of a free roaming character that focuses more on cc than damage but when she does do damage its nothing to scoff at. Make her hard to hit considered what little armor she has. So even if they never follow my ideas, id like zephyr to focus on swiftness, unhindered movement and reward accuracy all while looking good

I think shield in general could need a little love.

With health you have options, you can either just hope for health orbs, use life strike, equip equilbrium, combine quick thinking + rage + pflow or any combination of this. On top of that you have skills for health regen and armor.

With shields you're less flexible. You have your shields and you can increase them with redirection and vigor. Then you can stack fast deflection for 90% faster recharge and fortitude for another 80% + 20% knockdown resistance.

After this shields pretty much end.

Yeah, you could always equip retribution for a 60% chance to deal....80 damage if your shields are up... with something like a 10% chance of stun... to melee attackers. YEAY!!!!

I'd love to see Warframe go with something like the shields used in Borderlands, having mods that affected their usage.

Quick shields - recharges faster (shorter delay)

Hard shields - capped at a number of hits.

Elemental/damage type shields - heavy resistance to said element/damage type.

Regenerative shields - heals you when full.

Leaping shields - shield hp lost has a chance to fill allies shields.

Linking shields - damage resistance increases in proximity of other allies.

Exploding shields - when shields expire they explode dealing damage/procing.

Booster shields - when hit shield-boosters may spawn that increases rechare rates.

Heavy shields - adds "armor" to shields.

Dread shields - enemies in proximity takes damage.

Blood magnetism - Enemies hitting your shields in melee refill your health.

Twin hull shields - splits your shields in two, one outer "buble" shield and one personal shield layer. This makes you a bigger target, but you may shield allies.

    etc.

aaaaand these could all end up randomly on a dual stat mod. Like the mods of old used to be.

This person knows whats up. Some kind of energy one would be nice were you sacrifice a percentage of your shield every second for a bit of energy back.

Basically like rage but for shields and continuous (but you cant have both on, thats too strong).

Ive always wanted retribution to be like Chroma's elemental ice ward: reflect damage, stun, burn, explode, any of those on contact. We all know that getting hit by a melee oriented enemy means all your shields and armor are gone. So id like it to be more precautionary. Like building up a charge ever x seconds and letting out a small aoe burst. Low damage but high proc chance. Or just every time your shield is damaged you get a chance to proc x status on the enemy.

Health orb drops were reduced, but this has been coming for a long time, since the rate was stupidly high and left most Nekros player swimming in a sea of unused rosy balls.

Testers on the forums have seen about a 6-7% loot drop decrease too, but before the update I never met a player who even remotely liked playing old Desecrate Nekros, standing in a corner hitting 3 composing all of their mission's activities. While loot drops may have slightly decreased, now a Nekros can functionally play the mission and have a good time doing it, while still also farming. As far as Desecrate is concerned, Nekros just received a big dose of QoL and love.

From what ive read, it desecrates the body once. If you get something good for you but if not, tough.

Old Desecrate let you desecrate a body multiple times.

    Im still in testing mode

10 seconds of wall latch is incredibly niche also considering the bonus melee damage you get from invis that would go to waste. I also have never seen someone wall latch as a tactic. If you want to sit and camp, you play ivara.

Ive tried and its pretty useless on most maps because my camera is either not in the right place as I try to look for enemies, you get no benefit from wall latching because enemies can magically spot you with the accuracy of a kestrel, and why be invisable and on a wall when you can be invisable with a sword and put in more work.

Most places i find were too big and open for me to even consider enjoying wall latching.

Now if wall latching gave some kind of crit multiplier while stealthing, we might talk

  14. 1. How does De plan to help promote archwing as a fun an alternative to the normal ground play of warframe.

    2. Are there any upcoming revisions to the Focus system that will heighten the use of the lesser desired schools.

    3. I have heard from many players that kavats outclass Kubrows. Ill kubrows ne receiving any QOL.

    4. Who do you have next on the chopping block for a rework/tweak.
