Just checked the Mabinogi on google since i had no idea what the Hek was it. Turns out the support in Europe for that game shuts down on July 18th, so how are they getting all those votes for such game that has pretty much died?
Their gargantuan Asian communities.
Speaking of international communities, we need to get the word out to our own localized communities. Anybody with a natural/learned expertise in the language supported by Warframe should post in there and help get more votes!

The best part about this vote is that a lot of players think the update will occur on Wednesday. That means the forums are going to see A LOT more activity.
This thread will be seen more as a result of that. And it can help mitigate hype by keeping more players focused on the competition.
DE's planning is pretty sneaky. :) -

Mabinogi players are pretty zealous. AirMech's thread is turning into a battlefield.

Anyone else think the Warframe staff should seriously consider making the Finals match between Warframe and Mabinogi an official announcement?
An announcement that is translated into the languages that Warframe supports and also distributed by DE members in their languages?
If we are going to counter Mabinogi's international community, we should meet them with our own. Bring the World's Moon Clans together with complete solidarity.
I also wonder if CarbonJames knows any other developer friends. :) -
Mabinogi is going to win it either way...they are using a mad amount of bots for those polls and aren't being disqualified xD
There was times where they peaked at 800 votes per second...and this was a stable influx of votes...that just doesn't happen without scripts/bots.
MMOBomb has been more prudent of that since the Mabi vs RO incident

That's an excellent percent of honorable votes. If everyone voted twice, we would have had almost 10,000 votes, so this really shows honor. I'm super proud of everyone!
I think we should support Warframe through the rest of the battle. In fact, I will again offer up the Warframe reward IF Warframe wins the next round. We'll also support them ingame. So either to honor them as an opponent, or just because you are greedy and want a free pet, vote for Warframe! When they put the next poll up I'll update the first post.
In the meantime, here is a poll to decide what the pet/head will be. Can someone pass this along to the Warframe community so they can also have a say? I want to make sure they see this as supportive. -
Just wanted to report that the same guy who started the APB:R MMOBomb thread has also posted in AirMech's thread. The same guy who only made an account on APB:R to 'represent' Vindictus.
He seems very desperate to want to get rid of us.

But I don't hold it against the Mabinogi playerbase; going through the equivalent thread on their forums talking about us, they seem to vastly outnumber us and are a lot more passionate about their game - and having some familiarity with Mabinogi in the past (reading their wiki and such, although I've never actually played it; not my cup of tea), I understand why a little bit. Hell, this is just their NA section, they haven't even tapped into their Japanese and Korean playerbases and trust me, that game's huge over there. I have seen some things, man. Jesus christ, the Nao fan-art on Pixiv. All the Nao fan-art...Plus a lot of their players are actually advertising the contest a lot in-game and even their official channels are mentioning it and apparently rewarding their community for every victory with in-game events. I hadn't even heard of this contest until a few hours ago. Guess the empires of Auraxis are too busy fighting each other to deal with inter-fictional threats.
When we go up against Mabinogi, we need to be prepared. Let's start tapping into our moon clans and ask for help.

Indeed. We already attained one Moon Clan leader(Gryphus), through his own willing participation, to help WarFrame. What's left is the others. Asking them will be a challenge assuming they have better things to do as leaders.
But yeah you guys keep up the good fight. I'll be playing this along with Warframe.

path of exile has an enormous fanbase, (yes lol too) but I think lol/rito didn't even care about the poll and didn't announce it anywhere so lots of people missed it, also ritos forum sucks hard, but there are still lots of people and it might be that some random forumganger might have seen a random thread about the poll, that's why it still got lots of votes but not even close what it could've been.
edit: also their forum is full of spam from the terrible community, so threads about the polls get pushed down in roughly 10seconds
Agreed. If LoL took full advantage of spreading the word via streamers, it would be pretty much guaranteed that LoL would win.
And yeah, I heard the 'new' LoL forum is their subreddit.

Personally I stopped watching Kill La Kill halfway through. I feel like it's not the right anime for me.

Zarozian. I also have a background from a Nexon game. Vindictus. I was part of the wave of Vindictus players going into WF started by a famous user named FatalX7. If there's one thing I have in common with that guy, it's that we take pride in our Lann skills in Vindictus. When staff evies fall and Fionas break, we Lanns will be there to solo the raids for everyone.
I know some VIndictus players that are really devoted to the game, even people from DFO. I can imagine the same for Mabinogi.
But in a way, I want Nexon America to wake up. It may be an insignificant poll to the company, but I think it would be very satisfying to see a game in beta crush a long-established game. Might be the kick Nexon needs to hire more active developers so they can compare to the experienced developers of Bioshock and UT.
