  1. Will the Corrupted ever get their own weapon models, instead of reusing the Dera and Strun?

If they do, will we ever get a Corrupted lab? And access to their weapons?

We haven't had a new lore entry for warframes in a long time, since Rhino Prime if memory serves, is anything planned?

Will weapons or enemies get lore entries like warframes?

In the codex some enemies have awesome panoramas while some are just a unit staring at a wall, can we get more panoramas please?

What can you share of the damage rework?

Have you considered making weapons that have Chroma's mechanic of energy color determining damage type?

Any comment on the recent Xbox cross platform play announcement?

When will we get a new synthesis target?

Will we ever get other weapons that have base cold damage? Currently there is only one.

  3. Shock Eximi are unfair to the player.

Nullifiers telegraph their existance with their giant bubbles. Comba and Scrambus have their distinct audio and only disable some abilities.

Shock Eximus on the other hand can sap all your energy through a wall without ever making their presence clear. They don't need line of sight, they don't need to hit the player, they don't need to perform a special attack. The only thing they need to completely cripple the player is to be in their general vicinity.

"So just keep your distance then."

So what about people that go melee only? That is supposed to be a viable playstyle.

What about parkour? An entire system built into the very core of the game that encourages constant mobility and movement, that you are suddenly supposed to not use so you don't bump into a Shock Eximus by accident.

Shock Eximi in their current state are a terribly designed enemy and should be reworked or completely removed.

    [EDIT]:

One other thing, in the codex all Shock Eximus are described as having "Electric based attacks and auras", which is just wrong, they are magnetic.

  4. I enjoy the new sabotage, only major complaint regarding the mission itself is the difficulty of picking up the fuel cell in front of the reactor, but that's already been noted by several people.

But I do have a problem with mission rewards. They all seem to draw from the same reward pool regardless of level. Did a few runs on Pluto, got the same rewards as Mercury.

Seriously? 3x Uncommon 3 cores, 400 circuits and credit caches from the highest level planet available? That doesn't make me feel like my time doing that mission was worth it :/

  6. U14 brought a new resource, Orokin Ciphers, that was only used for the Hidden Messages quest from the same update and hasn't been used for anything since. Is anything planned for this resource?

  8. According to one of the devstreams it was implemented in early alpha builds, but was removed because it detracted from run'n'gun gameplay.

Another thing that makes the cover system a problem for Warframe is that it tends to provide protection from only one direction, when you have enemies spawning everywhere it doesn't really work. And then there are all the melee enemies...

Even so, you can (kinda) take cover by careful positioning.

  9. I want all warframes to be viable, with their skills having synergy, making sense for their theme, but also having consistency in their rules. Frankly I think it's absurd how Limbo can't hack consoles in the rift, but enemies in the rift can.

I have other inconsistencies bothering me as well:

    - Some auras at their max rank provide fewer mod points than others, meaning they get less use regardless how useful their effect is.

    - Magnetic proc on a tenno completely drains shields and energy, essentially crippling us for the duration, on the other hand, Corpus have their max shields reduced by 75%, and on other factions it does nothing. It would be nice if the proc was consistent to a degree and in addition to completely draining shields, it would also disable any special abilities that enemy has, like the radial blast of Grineer heavy units, Seekers being unable to deploy Latchers, preventing enemies from throwing grenades and disabling (or weakening) auras from ancients/eximus units.

    - Then there's the issue that some sentinels have their precepts drop from enemies, but some don't, I have tons of spare precepts for Shade, Wyrm, Dethcube, Djinn and Carrier, but not a single spare for Helios and Diriga. But then I also don't want those mods dropping from enemies either, because their drop tables are already overcrowded, can you please move sentinel precepts to the market? Where we can buy the precepts we want with credits? Pretty please?

And then there are other problems I have with mod droptables:

    - Some enemies have tiny drop tables, while others are practically overcrowded.

    For example:

Railgun MOA has 4 mods in its drop table, 2 of which are fusion cores.

Toxic Ancient has 10,  2 of which are fusion cores.

    - Over and under representation of mods.

    For example:

Point Blank drops only from Volatile Runners.

    Pressure Point drops from:

    Ambulas

    General Sargas Ruk

    J3-Golem

    Lephantis

    Corpus Mine Osprey

    Grineer Butcher

    Grineer Desert Heavy Gunner

    Grineer Frontier Hellion

    Grineer Frontier Lancer

    Grineer Lancer

    Grineer Manic

    Grineer Drekar Scorpion

    Grineer Drekar Heavy Gunner

    Infested Toxic Crawler

Do we really need that many sources of an already common mod?

    - One other thing that bothers me about mods is that the sources for each mod are nonsensical, melee units drop rifle mods, rifle units drop shotgun mods, enemies without shields drop mods that affect shields and so on and on.

I understand that not every mod can drop from a sensible enemy, but it would be nice if the drop tables made *some* sense rather than none.

  10. I think that despite being shells, each warframe has fragments of a personality in them, just no will to back it up. Those fragments influence how the operator acts when using that warframe.

To use a somewhat banal example, cars by themselves have no personality in them, but you don't drive a Ferrari in the same way you would drive a Hummer.

  11. I would like for snipers to be an effective weapon category, but until the rework goes live I remain doubtful. This is mostly because snipers don't really work within Warframe gameplay.

As weapons they are meant for single target removal over large distances, but then you have the following problems:

     - most tilesets aren't open/large enough for distance to be relevant

     - the ones that are large and open just make it easier to use our mobility tools, making distance from targets a non issue

     - we are always facing hordes of enemies, snipers kill one at a time so no matter how high damage a single shot does, killing one enemy doesn't solve the issue of the 20+ others next to it, admittedly this is pretty easy to fix by giving all snipers a decent amount of punch through

     - because of their specialized nature, bringing other weapons to make up for a snipers flaws is practically mandatory, however, it would also force constant weapon switching, which is kinda slow and frustrating (speaking of weapon switching, will we ever have the option to select weapons directly with hotkeys?)

So yeah, I'm curious about the rework, but also keeping my expectations in check.

  12. The new modular Corpus units look appropriate to their faction being high-tech and fit in next to all the robotic enemies.

However, they overlap with Nullifiers (and everyone hates Nullifiers) with their ability disables, and they make the regular crewmen look a bit out of place, is anything being planned for the the older human Corpus units?

Certain enemies spawn in very small numbers, like the Manic, yet have the same chance to drop mods as enemies that spawn in the hundreds. Not only that but they also tend to have rare mods in their droptables making farming those mods particularly nightmarish, is anything planned to address this?

  13. I believe Steve commented that they are looking into DX12, but have no concrete plans at the moment because they are too busy with other stuff.

Supporting Vulkan would be much more complicated because it's a completely new and separate API, so they have even fewer plans.

  14. Another thing, yes depleted reload is useful (Gorgon, supra, soma), but, going back to the main point, why release this mod which was only intended for vectis prime to fix it?

Actually, Depleted Reload is limited to snipers, it cannot be used by the weapons you listed.

Which is a shame, I wanted to turn my Tonkor into a M79
