  1. Just a suggestion for y'all at DE.

*MAKE THE SKANA PRIME INTO A CLASSIC KATANA*

Or just make a skin for it that turns it into a classic katana. Maybe buff the stats a bit to make it on par with the dark sword. I feel like the $100 founder's pack weapon should be useful for more than just the first 4 missions of the game. Just my opinion/suggestion.

*By the way, make a Nodachi skin for gram! :3

    *EDIT*

If you do decide to take this random idea from the forums and treat it like a good one, make sure you keep the skana prime color scheme. Rocking the black and gold on a traditional katana style weapon would be pretty cool.

  2. True. I really would love to have an option to have none/low/normal/high/extra gore options

tbh I truely dont know why people get so excited seeing someone getting sliced in half or losing limbs... makes me feel a bit sick imo...

Right with you there brother. +1

  3. I'm kind of going in the other direction. I liked the gore much better when it was simplistic; It's much more stylized and artistic that way. Now that it is advancing in a more realistic direction, it feels like kind of a turn off to me.

  4. I was unable to log in to Warframe over the weekend event, so does this mean I have no way of ever getting Frost Prime? I would spend platinum for him if I had to, I just really don't want to be left out of the loop because real life got in the way. If anybody could answer this for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

  5. still op ^^

remindes me of Yojimbo in Final Fantasy X.. Killing Sin ( the final boss ) with 1 hit.. >_>

    All of my nostalgia...

I don't really like the design for this frame idea. Feels like it's trying to be an OP mixture of Nyx and Trinity. I do like anything having to do with darkness and shadow-powers (or what have you), but the mechanics you are suggesting just don't seem to fit. All my opinion of course.

  6. In the pre-update 7 version of Warframe, I felt trading was a bad thing to implement. I've changed my tune now that mods are based around trading cards. Trading would make it so much easier to max out mods without having to invest your whole life into Warframe. (Also, rarity system is kind of redundant if you can't trade away your rare mods ;D)

  7. Reducing credit gain does add a timesink factor, but it feels like a false sense of longevity. It doesn't help that you can now buy credits for platinum in the market.

Now that it costs a ridiculous amount of credits (upwards of 150k) to max out a SINGLE MOD CARD, it just takes a very painfully long time of farming low level missions to level up your mods enough to take on higher level missions. I love DE to death, but this feels kind of gimmicky to me...

I realize that they need to generate revenue, but DE should be attempting to profit off of cool things that the players would gladly shell out cash for. Instead, it kind of feels like they are leaning towards korean grind mmo tactics, which basically shoves aside players who aren't willing to sink massive amounts of cash into this game. Time spent vs cash spent should still be a factor to consider with boosts and frames etc., but mods shouldn't feel like a free to play browser-based trading card game...

  8. If you like parrying before you melee an enemy, then the parry should still be focused on aim direction... You need to be aiming at an enemy to cut them. If parrying stays move-direction based, you will be restricted to forward charging (meaning you can't circle-strafe or sidestep obstacles) while parrying. I feel it is very important to be able to move freely while parrying in your aim direction. Just think of it like a charge attack. While charging, your character follows wherever your camera is oriented, not which direction you are moving in. This allows you to react quickly to enemy position changes before your strike lands. Well, I feel it's very important to be able to AIM at the bullets you are trying to deflect.

  9. Parrying feels really clunky, and doesn't really have much use right now. In fact, a large portion of the playerbase doesn't even know it exists right now... My biggest issue with parrying is that while holding down the parry button, your character's orientation is determined by move direction, not aim direction. This makes it hard to retreat while blocking bullets, which is what I mainly try to use parry for. (Normally I hate games with no backpedal, but I can live with Warframe because it has a backpedal while aiming down sights. When you're character goes derp mode and runs towards the camera with his sword drawn, however, it kind of makes parrying unbearable for me.)

Also, the stamina drain while in "the parry stance" feels kind of pointless in my opinion. I would suggest making the amount of stamina drained per bullet blocked increased, whith no drain on stamina while holding the position. Stamina would not regenerate, it would simply stay at it's current level while not actively deflecting attacks in "the parry stance".

Haven't tried parrying heavy grineer missiles yet, but it would be really cool if you could! (I know you can shoot them already, so maybe this isn't neccesary...).

Anyway, those are my thoughts on parrying as it is. Thanks for reading!

  10. Haven't tested with other dual-wield weapons or the other daggers, but when you sheath Fang after parrying, the sheathing animation is the same as a one-handed skana type weapon. The daggers then appear on your lower back.

  11. I don't know if anyone here likes FPS games, but if you are into more futuristic shooters, you might wanna check out Blacklight Retribution. It's not a whole lot like Warframe... at all. It is the best f2p FPS i've ever seen, however. If you wanna check it out, here's my referral link:

On a side note... can't wait for update 7.

  12. Should make another NPC that talks to you in missions (Male). Should be more laid-back/emotional than lotus, and his name shall be Cedric (in honor of Ced23Ric). He can do mgs parody stuff, and provide lines that are NOT obvious comic relief. He shouldn't be cliche, just witty.
