    I see, thank you :) Yeah, that definitely looks like remastered Infested graphics. I hope it's a full tileset, and just a few rooms from some new game mode. Infested Corpus Ship is a very cool idea, but the execution definitely needs an update. On top of bringing it in-line with modern Corpus ship designs, it needs to be made less confusing to navigate, as well. Less crawling through narrow gaps between indistinct masses of flesh. I get that it's thematic for the Infestation, but usability does still need to be considered.

    Yeah I remember a few people noticing the Granum insignia covered by infestation on Reddit. Had to check there to find the post.

    Oh? When did that happen? I'd love to see it. Still think Ice Planet should be next, but Infested Ship is also definitely overdue for an update :)

    A while ago (several years now, I think), we got replacements for two of the game's oldest tilesets: Jupiter and Corpush Ship. Not only were those brought up-to-date in terms of visual fidelity, they were built with Movement 2.0 in mind. Granted, Jupiter went a bit overboard with its giant bottomless rooms, but both tilesets simply work much better - at least in my opinion. I thought for sure that Ice Planet (Europa) would be next, since Corpus Railjack missions had some ice tiles.

    But that was years ago. Since then, we've seen nothing. No new remasters, no tweaks to old tilesets. Granted, we've gotten Crysalith and Sanctum tilesets since then, which are genuinely pretty good. But what about Grineer Galleon? Or Grineer Asteroid? Those are both really old and honestly kind of janky, but they're still in the game. And hell - I mentioned Ice Planet. What about that one? That seems like easily the worst tileset in the game just because the lighting is perpetually broken and most of the terrain consists of props clipped together. It's hard to navigate since there's so much junk to get randomly caught on and it looks super-dated.

    Did DE give up on remastering tilesets? Or are we due for another remaster at some point? I know this is technically "redoing old content instead of making new content", but there's tremendous return on investment there. Those old Star Chart tilesets crop up across almost the entire game. Nightmares, Liches, Sorties, Archon Hunts, Steel Path, Nightwave and that's just off the top of my head. Meanwhile, the Crysalith tileset only shows up in 5 missions which don't show up in any other content but their own. There's return on investment here.

    Or am I alone in wanting this?

    They didn't. We even have a hint that Corpus Infested Ship might be the next one to be reworked.

    Hi everyone.

    I started playing WF on PS4 5 or 6 years ago (cannot remember) but what drew me to the game is the game loop, that is, grinding for materials and building more stuff, and that I can keep cutting dead enemies into parts and their body parts stay on the ground. I then played a new account on PC so I can actually aim properly (with a mouse) and actually shoot something, but stopped due to military and work thereafter.

    I am back in WF, I realised that the enemies disappear shortly after I kill them. Slashing their dead bodies doesn't feel like the attacks connect, and the ragdoll physics seems to have worsen. Is it me or did something change?

    Sorry for this random question, not really gameplay related but it is still related to the game so I don't really know where to post it.

    Nah its the same. Enemies now have more unique death animations, thats it.

    Before they had like 2 or ragdoll. Now they have a bunch of them, and the ragdoll only happens based on the type of damage you dealt (like Impact and Blast) or the type of projectile.

  6. I understand both sides. However I would make it like:

    Add old events back as small quests like Once Awake and make them the progression through each planet.

    Earth->Cicero Crisis

    Mercury->Slingstone

    Mars->Arid Fear

    Phobos->Gradivus Dillema

    Jupiter->Hunt for Alad V

    Europa->Cryotic Fear

    Saturn ->Eyes of Blight

    Uranus->Tubemen of Regor

    By entering Uranus you start directly on Natah. Finishing Natah opens Eris and Patient Zero. Finishing Patient Zero starts Tubemen of Regor on Uranus. Finishing Tubemen starts Second Dream.

    That means:

    1-Players will know about the old events and play through them in short quests that takes like 30 min or something each

    2-The quests serves as progression points that open new planets for players

    3-More engaging quests before Natah and Uranus will make the early game more interesting

    4-Each quest can teach the new player something new like: Mobile Defense for Cicero Crisis, Excavation for Cryotic Fear

    5-The amount of work to make this quests will be lower than to make new ones. Everything is already there.

    6-Finally fix Alad V story progression

    I tested the mysterious lantern with my little girl.  She can't pick that up, and nothing happened when she approached that close. I was expecting a demonic hallucination!

    They did that to prevent people from simply picking up the item with a "ammo draining curse" that does nothing on Operator.

    It would be a free carry. Thats a gameplay choice. Not lore.

    When I carried them, I was expecting to see the summoning demons! But, nothing came out to fight. I was also expecting the horde of zombie apocalypse or cursed devils after those poor soldiers turned.

    Defixios are "cursed". (Probably some failsafe Orokin tech because the Vainthorn is super rare).

    The Abyssal Zone run was a test for Syndicate initiates. However the "curse" is "real" (Probably some type of Void Tech) and affects anyone trying to grab the Defixios. That includes the Tenno. But we can manage. They can't.

    They're "testing" the discount in certain regions on consoles. I'm apparently not in the group they're doing this with because I'm still getting the usual discounts on login. I have a feeling they'll be implementing the plat discount and removing the market discount -- and have intended that no matter what.

    It's terrible as a "reward" and it's not even remotely comparable to what PC players get as far as worth and value goes.

    I'm not, and have never been, wearing rose-colored glasses when it comes to DE; they're a business and they're always going to do business things. But inserting spend-money pushes into every nook and cranny of the game is tiresome -- and tomorrow, with the update, they're adding more of it. They're basically turning into that obnoxious car salesman in a bad 70's-polyester suit.

    As someone who does spend money on this game, all it's doing is incentivising me to NOT.

    Yes, they are testing. Cross save is close to release and they need to find something that can work on all platforms, because they can't use the discount on consoles.

    And PC can't have a different system than everyone else because, again, cross save.

    Hi UtherPendragon21, we've tried reproducing this on our end, but we're having trouble finding any stuttering. In the meantime, can you please try verifying your download cache? You should be able to do this by clicking the little cogwheel in the top-right corner of the Warframe launcher.

    Untitled5555555.png

    After you've tried verifying your cache, if you still experience frequent stuttering after killing Eximus enemies, we recommend submitting a support ticket here, along with a copy of your EE.log, which can be found by clicking Get Logs in the Warframe launcher.

    Thanks!

    I had some stuttering days ago. It only happened when I was leveling my Kubrow and 2 guns.

    I think everytime I killed a Eximus, the high amount of XP required my PC to run calculations to lvl up my Kubrow and guns.

    I didn't noticed any stuttering at all when I was playing with max level equipment.

    I'm running the same R5 5600 as @UtherPendragon21 but with a GTX750SC. The stuttering happened on a Axi fissure in Eris. Infested mission.

    So far the only reason I see you people dislike a gear wheel change is because it might cause troubles to DE implementing it. I don't get it, do you work at DE?

    Can you stop? You lost. People gave you all the types of reasons why this is a bad idea.

    Stop ignoring everything people said in this thread just because its not what you want to hear.

    Your idea SUCKS! Move on.
