Well, it's not walking, but go take another look at Limbo's agile stance.

I'll give you that. Anyway my issue isn't that Wisp makes me sick or is super unprecedented. I don't really know if I want them to go further in this direction. Wisp is definitely the ass warframe and I don't want a feet warframe or spindly leg pigeon toe warframe or anything like that.

Well, he doesn't move with it, but I think Rhino's Roar definitely qualifies.

I mean the thing with Rhino is that it's not how any human being's crotch looks. It's supposed to be like a horn or some kind of embellishment, like Nidus' crotch. If the idea was to make her legs visually look like a candle flame, I would have less of an issue if it created the illusion of a big butt and thighs though it's not an aspect of design like Nidus or Rhino's crotches, it's just THICC

You can't really change out the running animation though and I think this is more what the OP is referring to.

I mean maybe we will be able to? I'll personally probably turn it off If I'm using the frame, but it's not like I think everyone who likes it is some kind of horrible person. What I really want is a custom run animation for Titania.

  3. I realize that everyone is just going to hate what I have to say here and that's fine. I personally think Wisp is a little much. When I saw it I felt like it just was too much, then when I saw the run animation they were doing I felt it was a little obscene. I don't have a huge problem with Warframes being sexy or whatever, but I really think they're being too cheeky (heh) with this one. It almost feels like we're not too far off from a Warframe that holds up her leg like Juri and wiggles her toes.

Personally I wouldn't give a warframe named Wisp a giant butt, but my issue is slightly more than that. I like Warframes like Nekros or Ivara(I know Ivara has a big butt, but she also has neat stuff like bolts on her hips)  that really don't look human at all. It feels like Wisp we're just back to "this is a person in a latex suit". Sure it's a latex suit with no feet, but still. When I heard wisp I thought of a really ephemeral wispy design and what I got was a big butt instagram girl. It's not horrible or anything but I'd really don't want to see it go much farther than this.

  4. Right now out of bounds is really cumbersome if you're trying to navigate as your operator or zephyr this combined with the fact that sometimes going out of bounds will bounce you back an INCREDIBLE distance. Just earlier today I got moved from the evac to 900 meters away from it because I went out of bounds on my operator trying to get on the corpus snow tileset evac point.

The drop tables are set up to mostly give you garbage and occasionally give you good things. Removing something "bad" does not mean everything will just go up in chance. If they wanted you to have a better chance at something "good" you would have that better drop chance already.

There's literally no point in removing Endo because something even more useless would replace it or drop chances would be manipulated to have the same chance at something "good" as there is now, even with less items.

The suggestion is bad and didn't warrant a serious response.

I don't have a huge problem with the Endo but the Shards are pretty bad. If they replaced shards with endo that'd be nice.

edit: Don't get me wrong, you're right about the drop tables, but I don't think the idea of the booby prizes being slightly better is that awful.

I hope the shards are at least used in the creation of Vlad or will serve some alternative purpose in the game

    This would be awful.

Zephyr's passive has a skill floor to it, meaning you need to actually practice with her to use her properly. If, like a lot of players have done so far (me included), you learn where to jump how to jump, use her in-air steering, and think about aerial routes through a tile instead of trying to force her into the same paths you would take as a normal frame, then Zephyr is faster than any frame that isn't using an ability.

I mean, contrary to a lot of popular belief, the low gravity doesn't actually slow her down horizontally, just vertically, so you don't lose speed for being in the air, and can even gain it by using the aim-glide-slide combo. You can jump and go around corners, where other frames would jump, land, turn and move on. You can avoid obstacles that other frames in their combo of 'bullet-jump, jump, roll, slide, repeat' have to zig-zag around in straight lines, and using parkour with Zephyr to bounce off a collumn and on to another or a wall results in far more overall speed than a lot of frames can get because their jumps don't carry them to the next point without using a second jump or bullet jump.

With Jet Stream and a well-controlled (skill base here, not saying that the ability is amazing) Tailwind, she's faster than almost everything, and can go from one place to another faster than (and again I'm judging this on skill of the player, not the frame's mathematical stats) most Volts, Titanias or Novas.

The frame is not perfect, there's plenty of improvements that can be made, but I've been playing her for more than four years now, hundreds of hours. The one thing that I will never question is how good this passive makes the game feel, and how much faster I can traverse a level with her.

I mean sure I might like it more if I got to DE_dust levels of memorization on every tileset, but as it is it just throws me off because she doesn't move like other frames. Tailwind isn't great but what is really frustrating in playing her is when I'm not using Tailwind and trying to use her like a normal frame. It's the same way in which Nezha is frustrating to use because I constantly go sliding past what I want to use in my orbiter. I think if what we're judging the passive off of his hundreds of hours over four years, I don't think it's a really good argument for it.

edit: though I will give it a more of a try and see if I can get better at it.

Also, making the Hover freely castable while mobile or in the air, as a way to stop quickly or a way to chain casts together.

Honestly I would really like this, because as it is it feels like the hover is almost useless and it makes Jet Stream useless too because you're pretty much always on the ground after any tailwind that is hitting enemies.

The same can be said of Nova's portals.

Yeah I mean again, I love Zephyr's 1 but Nova portals are in general a lot more useable. Zephyr's 1 outside of Plains is plagued bye interia pinning you into walls, inertia moving you after you go out of bounds and get placed back down. If you want to go higher duration for your 3 or 4 you basically will regret even pressing 1 outside of the Plains. There probably could be something to make it a little more useable in tight areas, however my main focus is the passive.

I agree with the topic though. Sometimes flying make you feel slow, at least substantially slower than any parkour'ing frame. Zephyr - and Mirage, as well -'s passives are nerfing their mobility and that should not be a passive if they don't really gain anything.

I feel like we might even be able to include Nezha here? But at least that Passive is more livable. Then you have Titania whose passive is fantastic and makes her really fast and fun to play, but it's just more fun to use Razorwing and fly around blasting people, at least for me.

I dislike her passive as well. And her 1st ability is so underwhelming... Why not true flying, just burst flight... I mean, at least Titania has it, why not our bird?

Honestly the burst flying is pretty neat but I think being able to archwing roll out of it or something would help. I don't want to see her made the same as Titania though. A big part of what makes Titania work is the shrinking.

    I would suggest this instead:

Pressing jump button in mid-air after double jump cancels Zephyr's passive temporary until she lands.

Yeah something like that to just save me all the ground pounding.

Not really at all, no. If someone gives you fake money in real life and you try to pay with them at a restaurant, it's not the job of the restaurant owner to protect you or compensate you, since said owner had nothing to do with scamming or swindling you in the first place.

Now because it is all digital, DE could make tools and use log files to make life easier for those who get swindled, but have for various reasons chosen not to. Sure it would be nice if they did help out, but in no way is it their job.

Well the restaurant doesn't make the money, but the Government does and implementing controls and helping people get compensated when they are taken advantage of is their responsibility.

    43 minutes ago, rune_me said:

There is no scenario where you will ever be able to legally hold DE responsible for that. That would be like holding a bank responsible because someone else forges money or robs a casino.

A bank's money is generally federally insured so again, it's their responsibility to make sure their aren't taking or circulating counterfeit and stolen money.

  10. Hey neat I got Kill 5 Dargyn pilots before they hit the ground. Man do these rivens just suck. This is just depressing already 4 of them killed and no credit. What does it even MEAN do I destroy the Dargyn then kill them as they're falling? Did they even playtest these to see what the experience was like or just slap some plains modifiers on existing rivens?

edit: oh you can cheese it with nidus or rhino. Hey that's neat, the riven is still buggy and poorly thought out.

edit edit: Also has the problem of scouring a zone for random mobs. I mean honestly if someone really doesn't want to solo an interception or whatever, that's fine. However what makes plains rivens so terrible is that there really isn't cheese, the exception is Dargyn pilots and that's more just avoiding the bugginess of the Dagryn itself being considered the ground.

I honestly don't believe they even tried these out because soloing an interception (which you can basically do on any frame) just doesn't compare to this crap.

  11. Hey I just got the Vruush turret one, oh boy fly around the plains with a hobbled key looking for some special turret I didn't even know existed. It's almost silly you get these rivens and go "what the hell is that?". It's sort of funny how we got some speech about how they're never doing plains style grind again but we get rivens for shooting 3 condrocs with a hobbled dragon key equipped, lol. Maybe we'll gather iradite next, build another gara to unlock this riven.

This stuff just all sucks. Hunting down turrets on archwing(even worse for someone who hasn't built itzal) hunting down random units, or various fauna. It all just sucks. It's only a challenge mentally, as in I don't want to do it because it's unpleasant so I just have to grit my teeth and get through it. There's just a cap for how hard you can make things in this game and the only thing that makes plain rivens 'harder' is that they are always more annoying than old rivens.
