  1. Quite frankly I would love to see DE make a super heroes game - in the same vein as "Marvel Super Heroes" RPG - if any of you are old enough to remember that.

It would be hard, but from what I've seen of DE's coding results (this game) - they could pull it off and make it awesome to boot.

  2. Sell me a Gorgon Riven.   The more terrible the better.   I'm not into spending lots of Platinum - please bear that in mind.  PM or reply with sell offers.

    Thanks.

I don't get bored of the MR grind because I've never intentionally grinded MR. Usually, when I find a frame or weapon I like I play with it until I get bored and try a new one. I've been playing this game for 11 months now, and I've tried only 13 different frames so far (I'm MR 13). Although the annoying part is that I have a really good riven for a weapon that I like which is locked at MR 15. But I'm still not going to bother grinding MR for it; I'll get there when I get there.

This ^  I wish I could be like this.  And I am also in the same boat.

And when I miss a day I feel as if im being punished.

    That is ... your problem?

I sincerely think you worry too much.

I suggest you look at it this way:  Log in and play the game because you want to.  Those little tributes are just there as a "thank you".    If you miss day, don't sweat, because who cares?!  It's a GAME.  It's pixels on a screen.

  5. OK you answered the question for me.  I was being a tard and forgot a very important detail  "with every reload".  LOL  Thanks for clearing that up for me.

It was pretty fun watching that Braton Prime murder stuff when the mod kicked in.  A lot of big damage and LOTS of slash / viral procs @ > 21 rounds per second.

actually the real benefit of cryptos is decentralisation - that was and is its real purpose i.e. not tied to the value of a govt issued currency. Money only has value when it is respected as medium of exchange, hence the dollar being the international trading currency. While the idea of ATMs on every corner is laughable, it will never get to that as cryptos are seen as an asset not a currency, so therefore they have value. the intention of its creators was to tie that value with the information contained within the blockchain ledger, which to paraphrase is IRONIC because that's what modern society does now only its not self contained - your digital traffic is monetised information used by all. In fact, physical money has no more value than the ones and zeros being used in marco economics, forget that at your own risk.

Decentralization may be the intended purpose - but the real purpose is privacy and anon transactions.  Speaking of value - fiat currency is worthless - cryptocurrency is less than worthless.  Cryptocurrency is worth about as much as credits are worth in Warframe.

Cryptocurrency is an asset, and not a currency?

Physical money has purpose;  gold, silver, copper and nickel.  You can make and do physical things with physical money.    Perhaps you were referring to paper, fiat currency?

With the release of crycash, the solidification of Ripple and the success of cryptocurrency to date; would now be the time that DE at least investigates the viability of evolving Platinum from an in game currency into a real world cryptocurrency? they already have a stable user base with a value attached to each token. Of course DE would have to divorce Chinese segment of the business as its illegal to trade in cryptocurrency on the mainland, however I think it be worth at least looking at it. what does everyone else think?

This has to be the craziest thing I've ever read here on Warframe forums.  Do you realize the problems this would open up?

Additionally, there are many, many people who think that so called cryptocurrency is only marginally better than a fiat currency - granted, yes it is finite - but it is also, literally nothing.  How is that a success in any sense of the word?  And think of this:  the very idea of cryptocurrency lies in the name.. crypto - that is to say - PRIVACY, private transactions.  Now you have companies trying to do the equivalent of IPOs and getting "crypto currency accounts and ATMS on every corner".

    Can you say IRONY.

Anyway, the day we give up the physical aspects of currency is the day that society and life in our civilization ends as we know it.

The short answer is:  No, bad idea.
