    Warframe locking computer up

    Another update.  Did video stress testing, all fine.  Ran another directx game, no issues.  Followed DE support suggestions, nothing.  I can leave the computer on for hours and hours without issues until I launch the game. 

    I really wish I knew what was going on here.  I'm attempting to look for a cause and effect from end and am coming up blank.  Updates rolled back, Video drivers updated and then rolled back, clean install, clean config, remove / reinstall warframe - the list goes on and on.  Nothing. 

    Ryzen 3 1200 w/ RX 550 on Gigabyte K3 gaming Motherboard / Windows 7 SP1.  Forum browsing hasn't came up with anything that sticks out.

    If anyone has ANY suggestions, I'm open for them.  I don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 and I'm not keen on doing a full reinstall of Windows 7. 

    Shotguns

    When I first started playing this game, the two things that really stood out to me were:  The Nyx & shotguns.   I couldn't wait to get a "great" shotgun.   Nyx sounded so cool!  

    Well, I've gotten a "good" shotgun and I also tried out Nyx.  For the record, I still like Nyx.  Shotguns though?  I dunno, they just don't jive with me for some reason.  

    After pimping out a Twin Grakata,  and soon to be pimping out a Prisma Angstrum (what can I say, I like it with Nova), secondary shotguns are not even desirable. 

    Primary shotguns are bit more fun, but I feel more at home with any semi-automatic weapon than anything else now, for some reason. 

    To be fair, I haven't tried every single shotgun out yet.  The Astilla looks pretty neat!  

    What are your thoughts on the fun factor regarding shotguns?  And perhaps the question about balance?  Are they balanced?
     

    The Lotus & Ship Cephalon

    I was unsure where to post this feedback:

    I like Lotus and I like the ship's Cephalon.  I would like to option to dump both of them though.  Maybe I want to go work for Darvo?  I would love to have a Jordas Cephalon too.

    I guess what I mean is, I'm tired of Lotus and ship's Cephalon and want some variety.  

    I'd even be willing to do the voice work for any new (and possibly existing) characters.  I really like this game.

    Weird.  The game ran fine for hours last night.  I guess I'm gonna have to install another game on the computer to see if it only happens when games are running.

    Hardware monitoring everything is normal, voltages and temps for everything all in acceptable ranges - I monitor it in another window while game is running.  I'm really hoping the video card isn't crapping out.  New display drivers update etc..

    I want to trade safely!

    EDIT: Hopefully, they're also banning the accounts that charge-back, but as the forum isn't flooded with people complaining about being banned, I'm skeptical.

    IF this is TRUE - I sincerely doubt I will trade with anyone I don't know, ever.

    Just be patient and do other things.  You will really have a bad time if you're not patient in this game.  Try to follow this advice: "It'll be ready when it's ready".

    Losing interest; Plat impossible

    Warframe is a great game.  However - the chat system, and this includes trading - is absolutely horrible.  I concur with the OP.  I don't want to spend time babysitting stuff I want to sell, AND I don't want to go to some 3RD PARTY website to do it either.  Really, same goes for the wiki too.

    DE should have incorporated their own wiki into their website AND should do something with their atrocious chat system.

    Has anyone just recently started having problems with Warframe via Steam?  I'm 99% certain it's a Steam issue (I will be posting on Steam forums as well), but I wanted to reach out here first for some feedback.

    Problems meaning - You launch Warframe (via Steam) and the entire system locks up.
