  1. So, ive decided to take it upon myself to give suggestions for a rework / tweak for all of mirage's abilities. I believe im competent enough to fairly suggests balances for mirage since she is my most played frame and also knowing her strengths / weaknesses.

    Alright, Guess its time i start sharing my ideas

    Ability 1: Hall of Mirrors.

    Mirage's First ability. Very simple and does its job, well barely, but it does enough to be considered a useful ability 80% of the time. Most New mirage players would most likely have this activated with her 3rd ability as its simple easy dmg. Honestly for changes, I would like if her augment made her clones actually branched out from her, like weaker wukong clones, They'd stay close to mirage when theres no enemies in mirage's range (can be adjusted by range) and when an enemy is within a radius, mirage clones would automatically target an enemy, if the enemy reaches even closer (smaller radius) her clones will engage into melee combat. They would essentially work like spectres as in terms of ai.

    This is essentially what the interactive clones would do.
    The red dot is Mirage, the 4 blue dots are her clones and the yellow dots are the enemies. An enemy (enemy 1) is initially in the clone's firing range, clone will attempt to kill the enemy while the enemy is in its firing range (green area) (enemies 2 and 4). Once an enemy enters her melee range (pink area), her clones will equip their melee and attempt to melee the enemy (enemy 3). It may not be as clear but it helps illustrates what i would like to see Hall of Malevolence do.

    Ability 2: Sleight of Hand.

    Sleight of Hand is honestly not a bad ability, it is just poorly implemented. For instance, in the ability description, her 2 should draw enemy aggro away from her towards the jewel (it does but it its rather weak) and it also triggers booby traps. To list the most interesting of them, when a corpus laser is affected with mirage's 2, it traps enemies stunning enemies in place. When mirage stands in the laser, she gains 50 energy over the course of 10-15 seconds. When an enemy opens a locker affected by Mirage's 2, an explosion occurs deals true dmg equal to the enemy health. Explosive objects in the tileset (explosive barrels etc) deals 200% (2 times) more dmg when it explodes. Loot crates and resources affected by her 2 applies a non LoS (Line of Sight) AoE blind that has a range that scales with ability range (not 100% sure on the range part). Ideally these buffs are very good but is trivial to the game's current state. One obvious change would be to make the corpus lasers give the 50 energy instantly, lockers should automatically unlock and spawn a mini jewel near it to force some enemies towards them (aggro in this game is rather dumb) and to make enemies in its LoS to instantly go towards it. Her augment makes it into a really good AoE dmg ability, DO NOT CHANGE!!!

    Ability 3: Eclipse.

    Now, i honestly love this ability. The ability to deal insane dmg that multiplies after mods is honestly too good and the ability to literally stand still in a eidolons barrage of attacks and shrug them off is honestly very very good.There's 2-3 problems about it. First would be the buff being linked to light level around mirage. To me, this is her least of her problems as which buff the player gets is dependent on the player 50% of the time. My second problem ties into the first as Mirage's one way of changing which buff she got was by self ignition was removed with the new update. Self ignition (proccing heat on one self) is honestly a genius solution for an obstacle which limited how mirage could have been played. Most people i've spoken too want this to bee changed so you can manually switch between her damage reduction mode or dmg mode. I honestly do not want it or if it does go live, make the player endure a punishment for choosing the easier method than applying knowledge of the game to they playstyle. Please just let heat give off light again, this unintended mechanic IS NOT AN EXPLOIT. This does not benefit mirage in a way where its greater than any other frame or puts other players at an unfair disadvantage, so let her be able to trigger her dmg buff on heat proc otherwise id have to ask questions about self damage chroma. Her 3rd problem is the fluctuation of her 3 and the false value being shown via the UI. To show +610 dmg when in reality im doing about 40% of that is honestly misleading for the player. Having this value have different intervals for her dmg buff and dmg reduction would make it much for consistent while keeping its usability. Her augment is a cool concept for the team to do large amounts of damage but generally isnt that great.

    Ability 4: Prism.

    This ability is honestly the worst ability mirage has. The premise of an ultimate ability is that its an ability that defines and synchronize well with what the frame does. Prism does barely any of that. The lasers have a decent tick dmg rate, cant increase the dmg unless you use a rhino / stand in light. Explodes into a AoE blind for all enemies in its range which opens them up for finishers. The ability just sucks to use, it costs a pretty big energy cost with a drain based on duration, its tick per second is relatively high but poops out on anything that isnt grineer. Now what i have in mind completely changes her "ultimate" into an actual ultimate. It goes as follows;

    "Mirage summons 2 orbs in her hands when the ability is activated. This costs no energy. Using Left Mouse Button, Mirage throws a bright light jewel / orb that explodes for 1500 radiation damage on impact, which can be increased with strength mods, for a AoE radius of 7 meters which is affected by range mods. This costs 25 energy per light orb. On using Right Mouse Button, Mirage throws a dark, smokey orb that creates an lingering AoE where its range and duration is affected by range and duration mods respectively. The lingering orb deals 200 Magnetic damage per tick with 4 ticks per second with 70% status chance. The orb as a base radius of 7 meters and makes enemies inside the orb receive 30% more damage from all sources and multiplies all damage that passes through it by 50%. When Mirage walks into this dark orb, she gains her full damage reduction when her 3 is active regardless of how much light is around her. This ability costs 50 energy per orb. When a light orb comes into contact with a dark orb, a radial blind is casted onto every enemy within line of sight of the explosion with a base range of 50 meters."

    I also have an idea for her augment (which does not exist in PvE) which lets her light and dark explosion deal up to 80% of the enemies health as radiation damage according to how much enemies were in her dark orb before it explodes.

    Passive Ability.

    Does not need any changes but she does need an addition to it. "Mirage gains evasion the more mobile she is." This also means to rework the current evasion stat so it has a chance to ignore incoming damage. This is to compensate for the insanely accurate enemies one can encounter even in the new Kuva Lich missions.

    So this is the end of my suggestions for mirage's abilities. Honestly id like to hear your experience with mirage and your thoughts on the suggestions i gave.

That fact that she has to chose between doing damage and surviving is just a weaker option than picking a lot of other frames.     its sorta fair to have either one or the other. Her dmg buff applies after all mods, being able to put out dmg that overtakes chroma's with ease while tanking a metric poopload makes her not a glass cannon but yet another dps frame with DR. Honestly what she needs for survivability is evasion while moving, at higher levels, a hyekka master will flickshot his napalm nade at you while youre bullet jumping / wall dashing. I also want to see the evasion mechanic reworked so it just a chance to ignore dmg on hit. Would also Buff titania too.
    Does she need a makeover (ability wise) yes, do they have to be completely different? No, her kit is pretty great as is. 3/4 of her abilities work and 1/4 of them work correctly

    honestly to make her buffs more consistent, id like if you can manually over ride her 3 so you can gain either DR buff or dmg buff at will but the effects of the buffs to be lowered than if you were to be in full light / darkness. Also if you've played mirage, her 4 is dookie, complete poop, would  want that replaced with something i can actually use and feel its impact.

    I don't really care how good people think her explosive legerdemain build is, that girl needs help.

    Both buffs at the same time makes her just as  braindead easy as chroma imo

     

  5. and about Mirage getting a rework.

    Some of her abilities need a rework, not all of them. Her 4 and 2 is the main contenders for such. Her 1st ability is simple and it should be, its the first one you interact with. Her second ability needs nothing but 1 thing, a higher enemy aggro value than everything in the room, an irresistable jewel i've seen enemies walk past while shooting the objective. Changing that would make the ability way more usable with mirage's playstyle(s). Her 3 Ideally needs an addition but not a change, i honestly like it the way it is (while heat still gave off light) but for normal players trying to pick her up, her 3 could be rather annoying, a simple suggestion would be to have the ability to cast and hold to make her gain the opposite buff but to not have it as strong as without gaining the buff, maybe have her create a light / dark orb that follows her around and creates "light" that affects her and her allies (making total eclipse more useful than before). Her 4 honestly needs a total overhaul which i've thought of myself, i've shared such rework ideas privately but if you wish to know them, you can ask me. Leave her passive, mobility is fun in this game, removing mirage's passive would kill that fluidity she has.

    Please use the frame before saying such, Mirage is one of the few frames that i know of that can resist 99.97% dmg with adaptation and at least 150% power strength on her 3. with that Damage Reduction, you can stand in the gantulyst's "death beam" for almost 14 seconds without dying, chroma on the other hand cannot maintain such DR. Saying Mirage is squishy in eidolon hunts is rather misinformative.

    The fight should be reworked, or it could be kept the same. Saying that one unintended mechanic pushed a meta that encourages using a different frame is flawed shows something about people following the only meta for eidolons. Meta diversity or even role diversity in general is ALWAYS good, its only if you're gaining unfair advantages is when its debatable. So, tell me, do you leave your squad if the DMG roll brings a mirage instead of a chroma? or are you a chroma main that hates seeing role diversity.

  7. Honestly they should just make heat add light or rework her 4 so its not utter garbage. Though personally i am for the former. It seems unfair that if the player finds a way to use a mechanic in a way not intended that does not affect others in a negative way / give the player an insanely strong advantage that the unintended mechanic gets removed. What made this heat proc gimmick special is that it relies on interaction outside of her kit, just like chroma and cerata (R.I.P cerata), so is it fair for chroma to self dmg his self for dmg buff but mirage cant self ignite herself for hers?

    It's a bit weird how so many people ignore this long-range capability of the weapon and focus purely on the Semi-Auto shots.

    its statistcally better to use the auto mode for limbs, the puncture damage helps with the DPS

     

  9. Not the absolute best setup but the fulmin does some work in eidos.

    The body DPS was lower than usual since I bulletjumped (causing less light around the area, hence my Damage will fluctuate much more). but for a Solo run the Fulmin Does well


    So what would be my ideal Riven?
    Probably along the lines of CC CD MS, since the Mirage 1 would benefit from it alot and the Crit is soo good for this weapon. CC CD DMG is also a good contender since its Auto mode Benefits from having more puncture in eidos.

    TL:DR
    This weapon is the brigette of warframe weapons.

    I thought stuff like this was a thing like a year or so ago? You realize other weapons can ignite you on fire? I was doing the same thing with my Ember to abuse her crappy passive. The Javlok was also doing this wayyyyyyyyy before you made your video. Just shoot the ground and boom!

    the Ember thing was a no-brainer, iirc they told you you get the buff while on fire.

     

  11. Hey, so i've seen the video Leyzar has put out with the mirage prime trick. While watching the vid i found it quite impolite to not give credit to the person who founded the strat (As from what i've seen, it was me since ive been doing this 2-3 weeks before the video came out). I did get into contact with him and his reason for not giving me credit for finding this is because 'i didnt tell it to him on stream.'
    Well, i have videos, pictures and some discord pics showing that ive been doing this way before, thus proving that i've founded the strat. I will say this, if anyone has video , photo and Some sort of posted proof of doing this strat before me, I will gladly step down since you would be the founder.

    (the video is pretty bad since i recorded this with a bunch of tabs opened)

  12. Inb4 OP had riven and used harrow.
    Jk but i always take claims with a bit of salt because people tend to leave their CP or run arcanes that buff passively (buffs for firing the weapon) when doing some tests.

     

    Another thing is about HMunitions, you want to use it with viral because it synergizes the best with viral, Corro doesnt buff slash proccs to the extent as viral making the job twice as easier.
    Hmunitions with gas is a joke. and anything else wont work.

    With this line, would it be possible to use like 2 90% elementals to create the same damage type the derived elemental mod is
    E.g using PCR (Primed Cryo Rounds) and Infected Clip along with the derived elemental mod you just described (Lets call it Caustic Rifling) for more viral damage.
