Having the enemy variety differ according to squad size is nothing new in Warframe, in hydron if you're solo-ing it and struggling to clear enemies, eximus enemies wont spawn until you go onto wave 6, and noxes only spawn on wave 11 and up, Its the same principle here. Just make the more common enemies spawn with a drop of the other ones in solo.

    So you basically got what you deserved.

    Honestly its not just in void fissures, He's basically reduced how many items you can level up at 1 time since a rank 8 vectis does 300 damage to him at lvl 53. Again, Not a fun encounter, Unlike stalker who you can kill in operator mode.

    Maybe add some more enemy variety?
    To be efficient at something really requires you to do an action to something, DE has nerfed Press 4 to Win frames (Banshee and Ember) now look where they are. You wont get anything better if you nerf them, its better to change enemies so 99% of them dont die to "press 4 to win"

    And the argument that “it’s to similar to this one other weapon” only stands to show that you detest any kind of content that isn’t absolutely 100% new. If DE only did that we’d only have 1 of each gun type and only 1 of each melee type. It would stagnate the game and ultimately make it boring.

    Please tell me, in what different way, why a Archbow would be different than the Current Velocitus.

    With Warframes Grindly nature? How much hours do you have in the game? By about 1000 hours or so youll realize how a "press 4 to win" frame is essential for getting what you want done.

    Again the problem isnt the frames, Its the enemies. Ever realized that an Ancient Healer or a Nullifier drastically reduces kills per Second for these frames? Now how often do they spawn compared to Rank and File enemies (adds)?

    Nothing awesome about releasing the same old content as new content, idk if they made a skin for the velocitus i can agree but its the same mechanics. not worth it imo.
    even if we were to go through with it, (discussing the "functionality of the weapon" here it most likely would require alot of energy to accelerate the arrow (or bolt) to be able to do damage worth while, Which the Velocitus already does.

    2) Sounds cool but its just a delayed Thunderbolt Mod, would like to see it tho

    3) Another mutalist bow, As i see it its a Cernos P and a Mutalist Cernos in 1? 

    4) Literally the lenz but without the explosion.

    5) Scope and high fire rate usually dont end very well with crossbows, they naturally have high recoil.

    6) A weapon that uses my energy for CC. Think about that.

    Concepts should already take into consideration whats already in the game, otherwise id ask for a bow that fires arrows with mini blades doing slash damage when the dread exist.

  9. OP, I already told you, AoE Frames arent the problem, its enemy variety, Tel me ONE Enemy that you encounter regularly that isnt affected by just pressing 4. Now, tell me how much are countered by pressing 4. See which outweighs which and you'll see why AoE nuke frames are in season.

    I can see that being broken in many ways. half charging shots that can scale infinitely doesnt sound too balanced.

    Plus my idea fixes what bows currently lacks; Crowd damage. Only the lenz can do that. Making it slotable on all bows would make the dread a better pick than the paris 10 fold (kinda like rivens)

    i hear you, hence why i like the attica, its pretty much a crossbow paris.

Bows in Warframe arent really in a great place compared to most weapons, since snipers have everything a bow has without the drawbacks (Fire rate, charge rate, projectile speed, shot leading) and yes i know the lanka exists but its base damage makes up for that. Even within the bow weapons, there are certain bows that outplays the rest, if you want Crit, dread works, For status the cernos prime / mutalist cernos does that perfectly. Fire rate has crossbows, which just dominate the scene. Rakta cernos is the charge rate god. And i dont know who would use the daikyu, maybe it has more damage per shot i guess. But the paris is just meh at any of these, thats why i want to suggest an augment mod for it.

    Imo experimenting isnt adding abilities with animation locks. experimenting is taking a hard counter to the DPS meta and making CC frames mean something (we'll save that for another thread) . Adding warframes with animation locks are kinda useless unless they did pre nerf banshee damage but now look at banshee, her 4 is a stagger fest while equinox just presses her maim and clean up shop for much less energy. If DE tried something new, then innate Damage Reduction wouldn't be a main part in every main and mini boss were fighting today.

  16. imo, her 4 is meh, its one of those "sound cool abilities" that would probably be lack luster after DE nerfs it 3 times, (see Ember) her other 3 abilities kinda makes her viable for stratergy play which is what ive been asking for in warframe. Less mindless shooting, more thinking before shooting. As the exploiter orb says "DPS Frames are akin to a simple beast, using violence and wrath to fix any matter" at leas thats what i hear.
