  1. the reason the tornados seem to dodge your shots is because you can move the one nearest to your crosshair by aiming, i almost never do this though and it leads to problems making use of "while aiming" mods like bladed rounds because most of the time when you aim the tornado will swiftly move to your crosshair and in the effort throw all the the held enemies out of it. not really ideal, i would prefer if they just got rid of the aiming behavior all together as i can count on one hand the number of times i deliberately did it.

  2. all the rework did was make it so jackal sorties take more than 50 seconds on average to finish. Boring predictable attacks, no variation whatsoever and outside of its laser grid that will be the bane of new players even at sortie levels its no more difficult than it was before, jackal still gets basically no chance to fight back before getting schwacked. It was a fancy coat of paint, all style and no substance and a downgrade overall due to the increased time it takes to get it over with.

Depends on what you want, auto, semi auto, beam or shotgun type can all be done by kitguns and theyre all strong performers so you cant really go wrong with them unless you dont like the scrapheap aesthetics. Non kitgun secondaries worth mentioning imo are Pyrana/Prime, Hystrix, Azima, Sicarus Prime, Pandero, Mara Detron, Euphona Prime, Arca Scisco, Stubba, Lex Prime, Quatz, Kuva Brakk.

  4. Imo its not a bad thing if she underperforms compared to other frames. With the importance of killing as quickly as possible being at an all time high a CC frame will never compete with DPS frames. Id prefer she stay as is than risk having DE make some garbage rework or make the mistake of listening to people who just want to shove her into a boring dps role. I also dont think that not having every skill synergize with every other skill is a bad thing, synergy for the sake of synergy is dumb.

    Aside from her 1 having less use indoors with the exception of some larger indoor tiles nothing about her kit is objectively worthless. 2 is an uninspired but it is still useful as cc and for its synergy with 4, everyone knows 3 is fine and 4 is largely fine. Some pathfinding and enemy holding issues aside it serves its purpose as CC and damage so long as you actually damage the tornados yourself like youre supposed to. The only real weakness zephyr has is vulnerability to melee and other things that bypass her turbulence as it doesnt actually provide any DR.

    Things like explosions that dont get redirected far enough away, flame throwers, beam attacks like from the new Jackal and from Profit taker and those stupid sap ospreys are really the only things that pose any serious threat. Not that I want that to change personally as I'm not super fond of being able to ignore literally everything but I know that annoys people here for the power fantasy.

  5. When I use my fire macro the gun doesnt fire but consumes ammo and a particle effect is placed on the ground at my feet it also does it with the secondary gaze. My macro is just a 5 ms repeat of ' which is what I set the alternate primary fire button to. This doesnt negatively or affect gameplay or anything but its like...weird.
  6. Zephyr tornadoes with Zenith alt fire. Tornados can spawn on enemies out of line of sight. When you spawn them they reveal enemy locations with the damage numbers and you can use Zenith's infinite punchthrough to nail them. The crit boost from the tornados also prefectly complements the crit skewed damage of the Zeniths alt-fire.

    Hildryn and Secura Penta, pretty self explanatory. When the Penta procs its secondary effect your shields get refilled. This can happen when youre using her Aegis Storm as well so long as you have the Penta equipped when you enter it, doing so can double your hover time. You can do this with any weapon with a Sequence effect.

    i didnt because i took one look at it and knew it was junk without needing to try it so I never got invested in it.

    I really thought the "worse than that time I was born line" would reveal this as a joke. No its not a big deal, Im not a collector gnashing my teeth at an incomplete collection of pixels on my screen. I just thought it was funny that I got the lodestar armor before I got a crappy melee weapon and made a low effort S#&$post about it.

    At least the RJ ones are kinda non intrusive since I have a regular group of friends to play it. What about the syndicate missions? The invasions? The nightmare missions? I was done farming nightmare mods FOUR YEARS AGO... And they didn't add anything of interest to a crappy subleveled system that makes me wanna sleep on the keyboard or switch game depending on mood. 

    I dont get the point of @ me about this, literally two sides of the same coin. the difference is you dont like syndicates/invasions/nightmare challenges and I dont like railjack challenges. The one relevant point of comparison that I can bring up is that at least the syndicate/invasion/nightmare missions contribute to the rest of the game that Railjack ignores because its another stupid island all off on its own.

    My post was a vent not a call for conversation or arguement.

    It's not the first time, so as said totally expected, and it won't be the last time that DE add something unnecessary or unwanted to the game, followed by the next few updates 'forcing' said new thing that isn't popular on us to make out it was a good addition to the game...  operators are a perfect example, personally I (and many others I know in game) still see no reason to have them in game (I literally pop out for energy from zenurik and that's it) but DE forced their usage on pretty much any 'boss' that came after their release.  We can basically expect the same with railjack and the next update...

    To be honest.. nightwave is basically being shoehorned into the game when you think about it, no one wanted a 'chores list' to replace alerts, they just wanted alerts to be improved...

     

    The only time I use maggots is on kuva siphons/floods when someone else doesnt do it or if im doing it solo, otherwise I never use them for anything. The only focus stuff I unlocked is stone skin and void spines because I dont have to do anything to make use of it. Maggot mode's existence and arbitrary inclusion into bossfights is a consistent source of annoyance and I do my best to avoid it when possible, I even built a wall out of crates in the back room to hide the chair thing.

    As for NW, the idea of it is good, but DE clearly screwed the pooch with intermission or as I like to call it season 3, I like it better than doing some S#&$ty low level alert that isnt worth not afk'ing through but having multiple challenges every week that are tied to some crap I dont want to do is grating on my nerves and only serves to slow down my progress through NW. Ideally they will have learned and we wont see another six month intermission but I wont hold my breath.
