  1. There are a lot of melee weapons to choose from but none of them have the same amount of damage across the board for all 3 physical damage types, much like the Burston or Seer. Now imagine if we had a melee weapon that does exactly that? A rapier style weapon that uses fancy combos and utilizes an increase for certain damage types depending on which combo is used, such as E-E-E-HOLD E for a standard combo that ends with a devastating impact blow.

    COSTS

    Requires MR8 to craft

    15,000 credits for the blueprint

    2 Argon Crystals

    125 Oxium

    10 Gallium

    1,000 Salvage

    25,000 credits to craft

    STATS

    75 Physical (TOTAL)

    25 Impact

    25 Puncture

    25 Slash

    2.5x Crit Damage

    25% Crit Chance

    15% Status Chance

    1.3 Attack Rate

    5 Stamina per swing

    175 on jump attacks

    175 on slam attacks

    175 on spin attacks

    210 on wall attacks

    One Naramon polarity

    One Vazarin polarity

    Stance: Steel Dragon(?)

Assault: E-E-E (Damage changes based on which attack is being used. The first E is compromised of 75% slash damage, 12.5% impact and 12.5% puncture. The second will switch the main damage to puncture, and the third switching to impact.)

Broken Time: E-WAIT-E-E-E-E (Unleash a flurry of slashes with a guaranteed slash proc at the end.)

Blood Lunge: E-E-E-FORWARD-E-E (Lunge into your opponent for two swift puncturing strikes, with the final one dealing 2x damage.)

Shame Bringer: E-E-E-HOLD E (Or as I like to call it, the Pommel Pummel. Grabs onto the opponent and attacks with the pommel so long as you hold down E. Deals only 30% damage(?). The name could use some work.)

    King Slayer: Slide+E

    Crimson Glide: In Air+E

    Retribution: Wallrun+E

Coup de Grace: Ground slam/Aiming at downed enemy+E

And that'll be all! Unless there are some changes from suggestions. Thank you for your attention!

    :^)

  2. despite it being the wrong section (please go seek out the art and visual section), if it was of an issue, then people would have brought it up first, i mean how old is mag prime?

Yeah, sorry about putting it in the wrong section. I was tired, saw 'Warframe' and was like "Yeah it belongs here."

The more Prime Warframes are released the higher the bar is set for how they should look. While she does have a lot going on, the forked arm extensions seem like they would have a different model for her Primed variant

  3. Each following Devstream has had more and more details as the Focus system was fleshed out. I think it will be ready by U16. I personally don't like the idea of the Focus system, but there aren't very many who share that opinion.

Yes, but the last one had stated that augment mods had been part of the Focus system. Removing it from the system likely set it back a bit.

  4. If it's given 35% it would be able to perform red crits. Given that it has the highest critical damage of all rifles, and that the Soma already performs well with its critical stats, red crits would make this weapon arguably the most efficient weapon in the game with insane damage.

    Soma Prime is fine.

  5. Players who buy Prime Access already can use their prime equipment without restriction.

Trading and building prime equipment should not be locked.

As a MR18 I am not bothered seeing low-ranked Tenno with Rhino Prime and Boltor Prime (even though I haven't seen any because I tend to play solo) because both of their non-primed counterparts are both available at MR2. By the time you are allowed to trade for the parts for Rhino Prime and Boltor Prime, you are also allowed to own Rhino and Boltor.

  6. Stealth is an option, not a requirement.

The game is about the Tenno, a warrior race that intends to bring balance to the Origin System (and likely the universe in theory.)

The Tenno that don the Warframes were the elite agents of the Orokin Empire to combat the Sentients with their void-born powers. The Warframes are used to focus that power from the original Warframe-wearing Tenno, the Primes. These Tenno used whatever means necessary to combat the Sentients, be it stealthily or not. This is LORE.

There is not much in-game story, apart from quests, as you are to assume the position of the story-telling for most of the gameplay you go through. Operations tend to give more story and lore.

  7. I feel like a hood would clash with the style that Warframes utilize.

ash prime? dont you mean limbo prime? they dont want to go in order of seniority ! =P

Assuming they are dropping hints like they had done for the loading screen from U15, Ash and Volt are likely to be next.

  8. Update 16 is supposed to be Focus. For something so hyped, no way in hell is it update 16 yet.

    U16 is absolutely not Focus

Maybe some place between 16 and 17 but I highly doubt it will ship with 16.0

  9. Chances are the next two Primed Warframes are Ash and Volt, based on the launcher with the image that has Volt, Ash, and Mesa.

Most Primed Warframes are teased very subtly in the launcher/startup loading screen. With Nova and Nyx being in the U15 startup loading screen, and now Ash and Volt being in the launcher.

  10. Will we ever find another use for Orokin Ciphers? Perhaps by U16? I'd really like to see these Orokin Ciphers contain lore or at least something (such as another quest) that requires them as a crafting component.

I recall during Devstream 43 there was talk of some sort of incentive to scanning things coming to the relay stations. Perhaps the NPC that requests these scanning quests will also reward you with some lore in the codex if you turn in an Orokin Cipher?

  11. Seeing MR2-MR3's with Rhino Prime and I sincerely doubt they've even bothered obtaining the normal Rhino.

That's not the issue we're discussing in this topic. If the problem with this is exclusive to Rhino (Prime) then it's not something that should be considered across all bosses to have two parts rewarded before the boss fight and then the final part after defeating the boss.

If that were the case, it would disincentivize a LOT of gameplay with bosses.

  12. Maybe but you too have noticed that there's more Rhino Prime's than normal Rhino's right?? Probably because low ranked people can get them easily from friends.

Jackal is the first boss that drops Warframe components for you. People will likely move on from Rhino as soon as they get the chance. Rhino Prime is simply favoured because it's a direct upgrade to a very manageable playstyle and kit and more seasoned players probably have extras of Rhino Prime parts at their disposal that they can give to their friends.

I don't believe it has anything to do with how Rhino is obtained.

  13. To add on to the idea, the last 2 missions before the boss will give you 2 Warframe components and you can get the last one from the boss thus rewarding new players the parts they need for non prime version of frames since the majority of normal frames that have an always available boss node, excluding Saryn and Trinity that is.

I feel like that would make it too easy to acquire the Warframe in question. I want to preserve how bosses function at the moment for acquiring Warframe components

  14. The way that boss nodes currently work is that you find the most efficient path, beat the boss, and move on.

This potentially creates a few problems:

1.) If you are doing this, you will be considerably unprepared for the next planet(s) as you are likely missing some mods already, as well as having under-leveled equipment

2.) It doesn't build up to the boss. There is little sense of discovery and exploring.

I propose that, in order to unlock the boss node, you must start a quest that is given to you as soon as you place the Nav Segment for that planet into your Navigation Console. The quest will provide lore, a sense of purpose, progress on a majority of the planet, and ultimately access to the boss node.

You must triangulate on the boss' position on the planet by completing quest missions that reward you with coordinates upon completion. Your final step is to defeat the boss, completing the quest, and possibly receiving a reward.

The boss node itself should be moved to the top of the planet so that you are able to see it regardless of how you turn the planet in the console.

  15. I think this weapon would be a lot more worth the resources expended if it wasn't so terribly inefficient. The mechanic is nice but there needs to be changes to how quickly you can run out of ammo and not get even barely enough ammo back from drops to justify the mechanic. Shortening the ammo pool and clip size and compensating with a much faster wind up seems to be the best possible solution.

  16. So in all there's a very high chance in players failing all the time, its a good idea for everything else but im just not fussed on the failing and archwing, that mode in my opinion sucks so much atm. But everything else is done well.

Currently, yes, Archwing is very bland and unengaging. Archwing is great proof of concept for freedom of movement/literal space ninjas, but there's not enough diversity in its entirety to be fun. Perhaps this can be one step closer to making Archwing more enjoyable.
