  1. My 1st try:
I got the planets clue 1st. I wasn't paying attention to the planets, I tried to remember how the Corpus words on the other side looked like.
I am colorblind, but the images are made well enough. There's a dark one, a half-half and a light one. Didn't want to waste precious seconds trying to remember mine, went random. Failed. I'll solve it next time.

    My 2nd try:
Saw the corpus helmet, went for it right away, failed. Then, it occured to me there might be different designs of those helmets. I didn't even look at the other clues once I saw the helmet. Time pressure -.-

I hope that after the end of this series at least, visiting the weave will no longer cost anything so that people can freely explore the story content of this event

It's probably too short for free exploration.

  3. Nah, I'm against removing the timer. Instead, let us get familiar with the new camera and control settings before the timer starts.

The mode is not OVERLY punishing for mistakes. With the cost cut in half, There's plenty of time to try it a few times every day. And it's probably going to run for months.

However, I'd welcome an option to hear the replay of all the talk we've already heard (even if we hear it and fail).

  4. When there's an Excavation, do type "H LONG Meso excavation 1/4" (replace Meso with whatever). It fills up within a minute of advertising. People like it because it's the fastest relics/time ( when you spawn several excavators at once).
What also works is "H LONG Meso Survival 1/4. LF Speedva/Nekros/Whatever-you-want-in-your-mission.". A lot of people like to hunker down and just grind for a while from time to time. Those will gladly join an organized run.

Here are 2 more reasons why someone would leave:

    • Some are there just to complete a Simaris or NW task while making a better use for their time. They'll leave at first rotation, too.
    • Completing a map node for the first time is even more worth it if there's a Fissure going on in it.

P.S.: When I see a Bramma messing up my aim, I leave as soon as I can. I wasn't mad at the old Limbo, but I'm mad at Bramma.

  5. I've seen a player captured once. Can't remember by what, but it yoinked them out of the mission. There was some forcefield net around the downed player. It was an interesting experience.

I think I can count Zanuka's appearances on one hand, too. I have over 2000h of game time. If it did spawn more, nobody even noticed it. I don't mind it spawning or not spawning, but it really has no impact. When it does spawn, its strength should scale with your frame's + your strongest weapon's Formas and Potatoes.

In the OP's video, I didn't get a feeling like it's an important mission. Especially not "Lose-your-frame-if-you-fail" important. That info should be mouth-fed to the player a few times or there should be a permanent message saying that on the screen. Otherwise, a player might just abort it to continue farming Hydron or whatever. An occasional mission containing some risk would be welcome.

The only times I felt endangered in this game are the first 2 times a Stalker appeared and the first time I used 5 ("You're at your most powerful, but also at your most vulnerable"). Oh! And the early Arbitrations when there were no revives and no shield-gating. Other than that, Warframe feels like some mobile clicker game in that aspect. I really do hope when they add higher difficulty modes, it adds some risk again.

  6. I use Volt all the time. Got used to placing shields in the direction of incoming fire.

Also, I recently found out about Stims. One of those things makes your target invisible to enemies. I tested one on a coildrive. The enemies just ignored it for the remainder of the mission. They're not cheap, but with that kind of utility, they shouldn't be, either.

Ivara might be able to stealth it, too.

... And I think you can shoot the turrets on a gunship.
... Actually, try modding one of your weapons just against them. Blow them up to kill all enemies they're carrying at once. They're very weak against puncture and corrosive.

  7. I don't really like the current Railjack missions, but I don't want my Railjack to collect dust either. I'd like to move everything from my Orbiter to my Railjack. Consoles, decorations and fish. Well, everything except the Helminth and Operator rooms. Let those float in the Orbiter somewhere safe.
When I log in, let me spawn at the Navigation console in the Railjack.

And let me strap my Liset to that thing. Or let a lander dock into RJ like a Warframe "docks" into a lander. Like... Give it a slot in the shape of the current lander. I don't care if I have to grind for each slot shape. I will.

  8. @5p33dy_01, Thanks for the video.

I had a completely different problem. I was panicking because of the timer and was jumping before the new island would generate. The platforms seemed unstable and some wierd instinct kept telling me that I should jump off as soon as I landed on a platform lest it colapses. ... Well, the platform did collapse, but I didn't know it was BECAUSE of my jumping.

    Another proposed solution:
Let the first clue be presented. Don't start the timer. Put a barrier around the island. The player can start the timer (and disable the barrier) whenever they're ready by using a console in the middle of the first island.

    A bit of advice:
Timer in a puzzle is fine. Limited access to a puzzle is fine. Limited access to a timer is not fine. At least not when a timer starts by itself, during some conversation.

And don't introduce new controls or camera angles controls or any limitations in general. Not with a timer present. Not when the change is unrelated to anything. It just feels unnatural.

Ah, yes, a melee build that's only possible with the rarest mod in the game. That's totally a good indicator of balance when only Condition Overload builds and busted weapons can kill these demolysts.

    1) I'd say Primed Chamber is the rarest mod in the game. Somebody, corect me if I'm wrong, I'm interested in this.
    2) Balance? What's that? Would you provide an example of what this "balance" would be like? Please, suggest numbers.
    3) That's what demolysts are for. That's what Sorties are for. A bit of a challenge.
    4) I used Shattering Impact on a slash melee. Cheap. Worked. I also used Twin Grakatas with status+corrosive to kill one. Not cheap. But also not melee. Worked.

making the enemies essentially immune to almost any weapon other than the Kuva Bramma.

    5) Kuva Bramma is a trash-clear weapon which is otherwise trash. Litterally clutter on everyone's screen and most likely not enough for completing an Augmented rmor Disruption Sortie.
    6) None of the points I made are meant to offend you in any way. It's just the way I talk. Take this comment as constructive criticism. Getting offended would be a waste of good will. I'm still genuinely interested in 1) and 2).

  10. I'd like some form of a risk factor in it.
Example: Resources which are popular, return less than invested and resources which only a few people invested in grow faster.

The system would end up with all kinds of investments because of efforts to turn it "the right way".

    ------------------------------------------------------

Another way the idea could go:
More like "Put in 100 Vitus and a year later, take 124." Not 1000.
And for it to make sense, add borrowing resources from the bank. Of course, you'd have to return more than what was borrowed, but over time.
Having the resources "stolen" from the end-screen (lich-style) would be a nice way of returning what is owned.

Darvo, Maroo or the Perrin Sequence could handle the bussiness.

  11. I stopped for a few moments to reply in chat and my kavat died due to no healing. The team lost the crit buffs and I lost radar, Vacuum and lifesteal link.
I asked the team if it's ok to die. They revived me, but the kavat didn't return.
Now I feel that it's better to restart the run and go over reward rotations A and B again than to play without a pet.

Please, implement a way to revive a pet. Maybe another color of revive points, unusable on players and visible only for the pet's owner. Could revive a sentinel, too.
Either require a pickup action (like with an Ayatan Star) or don't make them affect health.
... But that's only one suggestion.

I know, Djinn exists. But that thing dies of AoE and spends more time dead than alive. Even before a kavat/kubrow would get downed for the first time.

  12. How about making it's ammo act like Lenz's?
In-built ammo mutation, but low pool.

    OR
Bramma could spend 1 ammo for each bomblet and alt-fire lets you shoot only one.

  13. OK, imagine I have 5-10 topics bookmarked, each a week to two months old.
Discussions within are well structured despite an occasional troll.
The topics died off with the last posts being just bumps.
The problems and suggested solutions within those topics are all still relevant.

I don't want to keep adding posts to a dead topic. Especially since there are many bumps already present. New people reading them would have to read every bump and click on every page of the topic if they wanted to follow the conversation. Few people do that. Instead, they skip whole pages of the topic.
    The topic remains dead.
A new topic emerges with the same issue clumsily presented and is therefore shut down by people whose sole purpose in life is to oppose other people in discussions. No solutions to the issue are proposed in this topic. This time, the problem is seen as whining and the topic is kept alive because people started bashing heads.

Why does this happen? Because it's bad manners to "necro a topic".
Why are you people fine with all this?! Are there no better ideas or improvements to the idea presented in the OP? Is it really better to leave it as-is?
