  1. I know it's far too late for this, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't at least try to voice a way I believe kuva Liches could be far better.

The murmur system? It's absolute trash and really it's not even the RNG. Kuva Lich missions are repackaged modes with higher level enemies. I think there is some level of joy from doing these again and having the game give me a bit of a harder kick. My problem is with the missions almost total distance from the Lich itself. The Lich is just a footnote on the content. The feeling of putting them down is fantastic but that can be after 2-3 hours where you only hear a peep from them 6 odd times. It's "hey he showed up, have 6 seconds have a fight oh look he broke my spine moving on."

It's almost completely unreasonable but I'd rather have a focused campaign against your Lich. A lot like a sortie actually and to give the Lich some longevity make it 4x as long. You create your Lich having him take over 4 planets and you do them in order each as a "sortie" where you do three random missions and then you move on to the next planet they control. They taunt you along the way, let's say one of them is a spy mission and after hacking a vault they say "hey that was mine!" Just have them involved in some way, use the monologue as a way to keep the Lich engaged in what's going on. Your Liches personality is easily the strongest part of this content update and not using it to it's potential is a horrendous waste. I want to stick it to my Lich, ground the campaign in removing their control of these holdings. As a personal touch I'd like to say ALWAYS make the third mission an assault similar to Koro, Kuva Fortress. Make it very clear that you succeeded at taking something away from your Lich. After you've completed all 4 campaigns (12 whole missions) you get to fight your Lich for the final time.

As a footnote I would increase Lich spawns the farther along you go in the campaign because you're pressuring your Lich. They know they need to counterattack and if they actually kill you (without any of this command grab nonsense) maybe... no. I would like to keep that as an open question to the community on what the Lich looks to gain if they kill you.

Multiplayer component for final fight? Admittedly unclear, maybe it could be as simple as the last planet you take away from the Lich have a unique mode where you fight any and all Kuva Liches so long as your team 1.) has a Lich 2.) it's on that same planet. 3.) reward players for sticking around to help their team with their Lich. Maybe 1k kuva for each they assist with.

That being said I don't expact an overhaul of the Lich system so here's something hopefully more helpful.

    • The 5% thrall requiem relic drop rate removed any reason to play Kuva Floods/Siphons. Make it where the playing these missions angers your Lich more than doing a simple territory mission. The hour they reset in will probably be over by the time you complete the last one, possibly cap this anger bonus to 6 times a day. So one full 'set' of siphons.
    • Bottom out the initial Lich spawn chance, but increase the rate at which they became angry.
    • Their anger resetting after every time you fight them is easily the worst feeling in the entire kuva lich system, that needs to go.
    • To go along with the two immediately above, you'll probably need to cap that so it admittedly doesn't get too insane.
    • This one is actually in contrast to the immediate 3 above and I don't recommend both at the same time. Remove getting 10 murmurs from your Lich after you fight them BUT get 2 murmurs every time you fight ANY Lich. Maybe keep the way it is now for explicitly when you're in solo mode.

The biggest problem is simply that the content feels rotten because it's about fighting your Kuva Lich. And it is deeply unsatisfying to just wait around on it for such an extensive period of time with little to no return. I kill a Kuva Lich after 2-3 hours of straight WAITING punctuated by brief moments of hearing my spine crack. I don't feel rewarded. Not even remotely.

A lot of people complain about the RNG on Liches not just with their spawn but with the rewards. While I'm at it might as well sink my teeth into it.

    • The % element on weapons is broken. Getting to roll that every 2-3 hours or likely just once a day for most people is... unbearable. Have the % scale upwards instead. For example the minimum is 25% have your kuva weapon, and this would apply to each kuva weapon individually possibly even by element as well, be able to roll from 25%-30%. Kill your Kuva Lich, get the weapon. Spawn another Kuva Lich with the same weapon and roll from 28%-33% with increasing values of 3% each time.
    • With the above I'd remove the restriction on not being able to spawn the same weapon twice in a row.
    • That keeps your grind, that keeps people playing if the Lich spawning is improved. And you feel yourself making progress which is the entire point of grindframe. Can you max this out? Absolutely. But what you have right now is such insanely aggravating unrewarding garbage that people are paying money to NOT PLAY YOUR GAME.

  2. I got this as well, but for Larkspur while in Salacia, Neptune. With a magazine size of 122 thanks to a -mag riven and Magazine Extension it took the gun 4 minutes and 12 seconds to fully recharge itself

  3. When attempting to use Railjack Recall both the glowing affect and the actual function of Recall become bugged when knocked down during the countdown. It simply fails to work and the timer remains at "Railjack Recall 00:00" indefinitely, disallowing further use of the ability for the duration of the mission. The bug seems otherwise harmless as I was able to get back up and otherwise play the mission normally.

Leaving to Drydock after mission completion resolved it.

  4. When using the Railjack Navigation console from behind it is possible to get stuck in the kneeling position without access to the Esc menu or otherwise. I was only able to break it by using a hotkey to force the Heavy Weapon spawn animation. This includes attempting to bring up chat to type /unstuck. Who knows that may have worked if I was able to bring up chat at all, which I was not.

  5. Suggestions in brief:

    1.  Kuva Liches should drop 2x murmur whispers to ease time-gating and motivate players to fight Liches as a team. This especially includes when the Lich is not yours.
    2.  Kuva Liches should despawn after a set period of time whether that be an example like 60 seconds without being attacked at all or having been downed 4 or 5 times without being attacked by the Parazon. Getting stuck on another players Lich who is totally uninterested in fighting them has been aggravating.
    3.  Kuva Liches can stay around after specifically stating they'd run away. The player the Lich belonged to could no longer see them. He did not expand on whether that meant their boss health bar or simply at all. We were forced to escape.
    4.  Please add ability to link Kuva Liches UI so that a team can plan their status around weaknesses or at least show off how cool your Lich looks. This will be more important for Empyrean.
    5.  My clanmates are suggesting adding a Parazon mod that would increase murmur drops. Maybe a 7.5% chance to get a second murmur whisper when killing a thrall, something along those lines. Play with the idea, it's not even mine!
    6.  Please change the functionality of the Kuva Quartakk to allow toggling between auto and semi-auto fire like the Stradavar and other guns. Aiming for semi-fire is a little jarring and disallows strafing with semi-auto when preferred. Unsure what other kuva weapons this may apply to, I imagine my response would be much the same for them.
    7.  Intruder is an absolute waste on grineer consoles. I imagine that it was like this to begin with, but I had never used it until the Parazon. Actually a hindrance. Possibly make it to where you are given a single, possibly two, mistake "allowances" where you don't accidentally undo a node.

    Compliments:

    1.  Love the Lich fights.
    2.  Love their personalities.
    3.  I appreciate the system that allows Liches to conquer more territory. Reconquering doesn't really seem to mean anything though.
    4. Their visuals are outstanding, easily my favorite part so far.
    5.  You added a Kuva Quartakk to the game. YES.

  6. Sliding will break and your warframe will remain in its current pose if you attempt sliding while using the Parazon (achieved by using a gear item you equip, e.g. synth scanner, and then hacking a console while carrying a single weapon). Can be fixed manually by selecting a similar or the same gear item to 1.) unequip the parazon 2.) be able to slide again

  7. I have just 3 suggestions to really improve Warframe

Also please keep in mind that I am new to this game and do not know everything about it.

1.) Obviously more guns - While I just started the game I was browsing through what guns are available and honestly it felt pretty limited I do however know that they are able to be upgraded. While I take the upgrades into consideration I would appreciate some variety like Planetside 2 and Halo 4. Not too many guns and not too few but a good mix of different guns for different situations. A good addition would not be a rip-off of Halo's Br but a weapon similar in the way that it burst fires. Maybe you could upgrade it so that it fires more rounds per burst and then the classic damage and reload speed and other upgrades like that. Planetside 2 has a tight system of different guns that serve the same purpose in nearly the same way but are very adaptable to the combat. I'd like to see something like that here. Just not at the same outrageous prices.

2.) Better pistols and melee weapons - I have heard some pistols are very good but as such since I just started I currently have nothing better than the Lato. I know it stinks. Once again still aware of upgrades but it just feels like I would much rather have any other gun. For the melee weapons they do good damage against everything ... except armored targets. Considering I have had several instances when I have run out of ammo and had nothing to do but melee armored targets. Let's just say it didn't go well twice in a row.

3.) Both weapons slots can have primary weapons - I really don't think I need to explain this too much but basically it would be nice if you could something other than pistols in your second weapons slot. I' m sure everybody would "love" to be a sniper and have an enemy sneak up on them and all they have for close range is a pistol. Yeah that would suck in my opinion. My hope is that you may not be able to have 2 really heavy weapons with you but maybe something along the lines of an assault rifle and shotgun combo. I can personally see that as useful.

Anybody is welcome to leave replies, other ideas, and comments below. I would also appreciate some specific feedback on these ideas since for the last time I am still new to this game.

Edit: I am sorry for putting this in the gameplay topic thread I meant to put it in under weapons. Anyway the gameplay is very smooth and I absolutely love it. Although it would be nice if I wasn't always running out of ammo for the assault rifle. If the creators could slightly modify it for more assault rifle ammo drops that would be awesome.

  8. I've gotten in some nasty situations with armored grineer and my melee weapon does next to nothing. I acknowledge that I just recently started and that they can get better overtime but I was playing solo for kicks and was out of ammo. For begginners they should definitely make it more versatile
